Why don't we have more of these kinda gems that actually depicts the taboo realistically?
because its banned now
Because they leave a bad aftertaste
I didn't find Koi Kaze all that realistic.
B-but Oreimo is too immature for my edgy self.
Because realistically there is no such thing as a happy ending since it's still a taboo and society would never be as accepting as in say, Oreimo, where it's played for comedy and nobdy really gives a second thought about how it affects the lives of the character in the long term.
Well, a lot more realistic than what your "Onii-chan!" chinese cartoons serves.
This is about pedophilia or what?
Because the Tokyo Youth Ordinance bans such works.
Utena has the taboo.
Way too much of an age difference to even attempt a light hearted depiction, it's disgusting. Atleast in oreimo, kissxsis, or yns they're both teenagers and have an excuse to give in to hormones.
Kind of, but that's not the show's actual theme. I suggest googling the image title.
The one thing that was realistic is that they weren't raised together. As someone who has siblings and was raised together with them, the fact people can have feelings for their siblings in similar situations just feels weird and awkward and not relateable at all.
Koi Kaze at least avoided that shit.
I do find the we-are-not-blood-relate- but-were-raised-together kind of romance just as much awkward. I actually aprove of childhood friends not winning.
>realistically there is no such thing as a happy ending
Well, Koi Kaze did not have a happy ending.
Who the hell watches anime for the realism?
They're not related in KxS
Yeah, that's the point. The characters are considering mutual suicide at one point iirc, not exactly the kind of story that sells.
I'm not asking for more Koi Kaze, but it would be nice if there's more manga that has a more mature take on the subject. The only one I can think at the top of my head now is Rika.
In my extended family there was a girl who at 15 started dating a 25 year old man. She chased him until he agreed to go out with her. They've been married for over 50 years. Large age gaps are not common, but they're hardly unheard of, especially in the countryside.
>Mature take on the subject
Are you shittin' me?
People who enjoy actual drama and/or a believable portrayal of forbidden love rather than a generic harem where the MC's siscon is played for laughs?
Most of the material actually brush off the taboo of such a situation and most other characters act as if it's normal for imouto to crush on onii-chan, which totally kills the appeal of that sort of settling.
I want forbidden love and drama not generic romcom hijinks, damn !!
It's a good thing when you get tired of all that moe shit and rasengans. I hardly watch moe stuff.
It's fiction. Go read an autobiography.
What's your point? Fiction can't be realistic? If incest is involved, then we must automatically get a comedy or harem?
Are you going to tell me your Oreimo is more mature than that? There's hardly any manga that has incest as central theme.
When and where did I mention OreImo? Christ, stop being so sensitive.
For fuck sake, when I used to say all the time I wanted characters to think more realistically and spam something if it works this was NOT what I fucking had in mind.
I'm confused. What was this ending? Did they break up like Oreimo?
>Not full of fiction
Good 1 m8.
And what major malfunction causes you to look for this in anime, a medium fundamentally rooted in fantasy, of all places?
Jerking it to your imouto's pantsu sure is realistic.
hasnt everyone explored their sexuality with their siblings?
I'm not OP and I'm not really "looking for" that kind of anime either. But I do agree it would be nice. If you want comedy, there's plenty of choice. A little drama would be refreshing.
Don't remind me.
play VNs then
i recommend crescendo
Because incest is disgusting
Doesn't really bother me thinking about it. Adolescence was a long time ago.
It was a nice rainy day read but as someone that actually fooled around with their sister it wasn't all that realistic.
Honestly it's probably why she's a lesbian now.
If I remember right, they're not even blood related. But it was incest for all intents and purposes and incest done right I suppose.
Until the industry gets some decent writers, less serious drama is better.
But they're step siblings, and Ayame's back story kind of left a bad after taste.
nice job anon
ok try Homeward
>calls us disgusting
Hey pot it's me kettle, you're a FAGGOT.
Except look out for the ending, that made me angry as fuck
Exactly because it's taboo, and taboo doesn't sell (usually). People don't like watching things that make them uncomfortable.
For the people saying sexual attraction between siblings isn't realistic, keep in mind they weren't raised together.
That's two in a row that don't come without qualifiers. I thought VNs were brimming with incest as clear cut as oreimo and Yosuga no Sora.
If I remember it right, the imouto ending got a lot of negative reviews. May Kana Imouto is one of the best ones out there.
My only sibling is the same gender as myself, so, no, not everyone.
There are if you knew the language.
I like the imouto from Hoshizora. I know that's not very original and she's one of those cute imotuo types, but I bought it.
Hohoho. Are you sure you didn't try some wrestling with them?
I dont see why, like I said everything was fine and realistic and depending on how you look at it so is the ending. Difficult coming to terms with feelings, lots of crying and drama, regret and guilt after the action, and the ending where they eventually separate because they realized running away wasn't the right thing to do and timeskip to the imoutos marriage with some other guy.
I was about to commend your scholarly approach, but then vlc. There must be something on its inferiority on wikipedia too.
Fuck you Marche.
From Up On Poppy Hill was kinda nice from what seemed like a possibly incestuous relationship, at first. Blood relations shouldn't matter if you didn't grow up together.
Dude, no that's po' white trash behavior.
I always was a fucking cruel basterd to my otouto. Not sure if there ever was any physical contact not aimed to inflict pain. Actually fuck you, now i remember, thanks for the reminder i hate you now.
You should rekindle with your brother, anon. I'm sure he wished you had a closer bond.
Try Elfen Lied OP f/d and cm/cf
Is this why younger brothers always turn out gay?
Dude I don't know what you are talking about. How am I supposed to decode that?
I loved Koi Kaze and the fact that something as far set from reality as 2D animation is now censored just makes me laugh at how normalfags think.
Censorship is still bullshit and has so many loopholes it shouldn't even exist. Hell, most VNs I've read just have to say "All girls in this work are above 18" and everything passes by just fine.
father/daughter and cousins
Not for me.
>I want forbidden love and drama not generic romcom hijinks, damn !!
This is a country where mothers giving their sons sexual service is okay as long as it keeps him focused on schooling. Where they made a variety T.V. show about it that has the mothers suck their kids cocks while blindfolded in a lineup to find out which one is their kid and was popular enough to warrant a Father/Daughter spin-off.
What "forbidden love"?
I think that, as a general thing, people with incest fetishes are people who never had any siblings.
I think that, as a general thing, blanket statements like that try to explain fetishes are wrong and are most likely based on personal anecdotes.
What the hell are you talking about? That is not a thing done in Japan or anywhere else. Please don't confuse hentai scenes with actual customs.
Here's a few videos.
Is that even real? Aren't they just acting that out?
>mom and son
>real mom and son
>game of incest
>first game is to touch oppai
>recognize mother's pussy
What am I hearing?
Here you go OP
Those are fake. They are porn clips from porn, with porn stars who are pretending to be related. Believe it or not, Japan does have incest taboos.
>The Twitter account for the Pupa anime has confirmed that the horror series has been bumped from the fall season to January. The Studio DEEN production adapts Sayaka Motegi's horror manga about "the ultimate love of the brother and sister," between Yume Hasegawa, a little sister who transforms into a man-eating creature, and Utsutsu Hasegawa, her older brother who has the power of rapid cellular regeneration and feeds her with his own body.
Please Google Mama Love or Kinshinsokan Monogatari Clubs.
Explain to me how 50 shades of grey is so popular? How they have a whole network dedicated to murder porn, and how they released 2 human centipede movies if people dont like shit that is taboo/makes them feel uncomfortable
>We have no Oedipal problems in Japan - there's no competition from the father.
>Explain to me how 50 shades of grey is so popular?
Solid sources. Scientific studies. Should be used a base to formulate statements on the whole country. Thanks for educating us.
Should I read or watch?
>I will help you
>Use my body
At least there don't seem to be any brother-sister complaints. Well, they probably wouldn't complain about it.
I've always been more of a cousin guy. Like the stories where they send the MC off to live with family in the country or they're their for vacation or something.
>50 shades of grey
It's smut for horny housewives, not a serious book. And bondage is pretty mainstream nowadays.
Perverts on the fringe of the fetish spectrum.
>2 human centipede movies
... that were direct to video.
Keep in mind, Koi Kaze was a TV series, and is an anime, which is still seen as for children in Japan, regardless of what the internet makes it seems. The manga doesn't tackle anything new, but the fact that it got adapted into a show is pretty unique.
If we're talking about novels, there's Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma, I think it's the best book on the subject that I've read. But it's downright tragic.
We "should" be discussing why Nanoka is so perfect.
This series was so good.
I completely forgot about it.
>She comes chasing her brother to his own apartment.
>Initiates the kissu
Because has old MC.
I'd watch anything so long as it has a good story, realism or otherwise.
What's the source on the picture? Google is giving me some gook shit.
Disregard that, I suck cock.
IT'S THICK, IT'S HARD, IT'S OUT OF CONTROL.
