Nani kore!? That image...
>>
>>100832882
Why, an anime of Wizard of Oz, of course.

They managed to get to the later books in fact, where Ozma took the throne and some Nome folks "invaded" Oz.

Also, Jinjur is best feminist

Glass no Kamen desu ga
>>
>>100833069
>Ozma

Please tell me they adapt this scene.

>Ozma laughed at the wistful expression in the girl's eyes, and then she drew Dorothy to her and kissed her.
>"Am I not your friend and playmate?" she asked.
>Dorothy flushed.
>"You know how dearly I love you, Ozma!" she cried. "But you're so busy ruling all this Land of Oz that we can't always be together."
>>
>>100833417
...How the hell did that get pass the censors? It's a children's book for God's sake.
>>
Holy shit! This is an anime? I remember watching this in English dub every noon. I remember the giant worm. Found this to be the most badass Oz.
>>
There are some shows you'll just have to learn Jap for, anon.
>>
>>100833121
Man, you don't need subs for that shit. I watched it raw. Cute little series.
>>
>>100835391
>English dub

Why was replacing the original BGM with your own a thing back then?
>>
>>100835821
Probably saved money. Don't have to pay for the original music licenses if you make your own shit.
>>
>>100835821
It's still a thing now. Just look at Pokemon.
>>
>Dibetagurashi and Kuromajo-san aren't getting subbed at all

Did this ever end up getting subs?

>>100835946
Shit. I totally forgot about Dibetagurashi. I was actually interested in that. Are there at least raws floating around
>>
>>100836030
It's wholesome as fuck. It needs to be picked up.

Kinnikuman Nisei will never be fully subbed, all we get is the mediocre dub that didn't even finish. Fucking hell the manga isn't fully translated either.

Being a Nisei fan is suffering.
>>
>>100836064
I just watched the first episode. That was cute as fuck. Japanese is really simple, too. If I actually cared about the community I could probably sub it myself.
>>
>>100832813
Watched it as a kid. Shit was great!
>>
>>100835391
>This is an anime?
You really thought western cartoons could be this good?
>>
>>100836252
You should then. Someone needs to do it.
>>
>>100832813
I wish one day, the Japs would become Westaboos again.

Daytime anime = Classic literature adaptations
Nighttime anime = Light novel adaptations

It's like yin and yang!
>>
>>100836763
What were the nighttime anime back then anyway? Or were they nonexistent in those days?

Why didn't you sub this first, Licca?

>starts out as an SOL
>suddenly civil war
>we save black slaves from dem Condeferates now

Also, Jo is best tsundere
>>
>>100832813
Is there a good alive torrent that has this series in decent quality, raw or subbed?
>>
>>100839199
The blonde loli always was my favorite, I guess I was always a lolicon.

Only the movie version ever got subbed, the TV series remains untranslated.

Also, Goshogun, and Ginguiser

That's all I know of.

>>100841097
>all that delicious 19th century fangirls' tears when the bratty loli gets the boy
>>
>>100839199
It's licensed in the US by some channel that ha aired it dubbed.

In the meantime I want Tongari boushi no Memoru, Patalliro, Alpen Rose and Galvion subs. Or seeds for Memoru torrent I don't care.
>>
>>100835946
>>100836030
But Dibetagurashi is being subbed by based Migoto, saviour of obscure anime. Only problem is that at the rate they're doing this, you're more likely to see Tesagure S2 completely subbed first.
http://www.nyaa.se/?page=search&cats=0_0&filter=0&term=dibetagurashi
>>
>>100832813
I love how the music gives this dreamlike, chill feeling when Dorothy's traveling around.

>>100835821
And that's why I can't bring myself to watch the English dub. It's just not the same.
