>Enter a thread about a currently airing show expecting to have an interesting/fun discussion
>Posts more or less declaring "This show is shit and everyone who watches it should kill themselves" every minute
Why do people enter threads about shows they hate?
I get the impression that the words like "shit" and "hated" "kill yourself" are 100 times more prevalent on this board than "great" and "love" "enjoyed"
What the hell do any of you come here for?
inb4 we have to tell constantly people they suck and how shit their tastes are in order to preserve muh elite board culture
yes, and in doing so you end up spending more time telling people how shitty their tastes are than ever enjoying yourself in a real discussion about anime or manga without shitposting
I know there are exceptions and that genuinely enjoyable threads exist but they're becoming increasingly rare.
fuck off newfag
Good work in preserving your board culture anon. Never give up.
Trolling and acting retarded, every season.
Get the fuck out of here retard. This wouldn't happen if you had better taste or make threads that didn't start off like feces.
THIS IS NOW A DOUBLAS THREAD.
POST DOUBLAS, BULLY DOUBLAS, LOVE DOUBLAS.
Oh boy, another metathread.
Enjoy your ban, if you get banned.
>Get the fuck out of here retard
Do you say things like out of your actual mouth? I hope you know it comes across as really childish
Your thread comes off as childish, quit crying and making meta threads because mean anon hurt your fucking feelings.
>still being a respect and hug loving faggot
This season is fucking terrible shit aside from the shots and Chuu3. I fucking hate everyone who thinks otherwise
And before you consider replying, go fuck yourself you /v/ermin faggot shitstain fuck off
Nothing to do with hurt feelings.
Just constantly reading negative things all the time is just becoming really tiresome, regardless of whom its directed at. I'm saying that this board is becoming or maybe always has been a giant cesspool of shitposting with 20% of it being enjoyable discussion.
I want to fuck Doublas.
Fuck off then
That ain't /v/ or /b/. Those boards are insufferable with a lot more shitposting than /a/ by a mile. If you can't even handle /a/, then leave.
What are you going to do about it, nerd?
Regardless of your fucking retarded opinion, it's still the best of the major boards
>This season is fucking terrible shit aside from the shots and Chuu3. I fucking hate everyone who thinks otherwise
>And before you consider replying, go fuck yourself you /v/ermin faggot shitstain fuck off
The more swear words you type the more people will want to listen to you and respect your insightful opinions. Also kids, don't forget to tell the poster to go back to another board on 4chan different from the one you're currently browsing.
>Enter a thread about a currently airing show expecting to have an interesting/fun discussion
>Every post is about who the best girl is
>Want to provoke some level of critical discussion
>No one responds to mild attempts
>Resort to shitposting
>muh swear words
>OP complains about hate
>Thread generates nothing but hate
Gee, this sure was a good idea.
FUCK OFF /v/ERMIN
I already stated this as a disclaimer
I beleive it's because most of those are not actually watching shows and just come here to shitpost. It's quite ironic because muh elitist culture end up making /a/ far more shittier than anything else, because such attitude attracting shitposters, schoolboys and newfags more then any other site, because here you don't need actually putting effort in what you saying, simply call anyone faggot, post some funny picture and you are the winner, everyone can suck your dick.
This place lost it's self-ironic atmosphere because people who come here just want to feel better about themselves.
I tired of all this seasonal drama bullshit.
It just impresses me that none of you tire of it. Was curious to see if anyone else felt this way.
>complaining about elitism
>not a newfag
Choose one, faggot.
I actually like it, gives me a chance to prove idiots wrong while I see them panic and backtrack.
I don't have anything against swearing, but chaining together FUCK CUNT SHIT ASS BITCH DIE FAGGOT really contributes nothing to a thread
Why would anyone try to "contribute" to a shitty meta thread?
>This season is fucking terrible shit aside from the shots and Chuu3
Confirmed for /b/tard. Get some fucking taste you low power level shiteater.
>D-DO I FIT IN?
You are not keeping shit out of the board, you genereate it in your own.
>muh elite board culture
Fuck off neo-/a/
It wasn't my intention, but it sure does bring the point home. Well I can't say meta-threads are every that welcome to begin with, so its somewhat understandable, but it still highlights how unnecessarily hostile everyone is.
Hating generates more critical discussion than hugboxing, weeblord.
> but it still highlights how unnecessarily hostile everyone is.
Your mom is unnecessarily hostile on my dick.
you might fit in there you fucking retarded shitstain faggot motherfucking 3D loving cunt
Stop liking what I don't like is an old /a/ tradition, I don't like it but what can you do?
Yeah, because newfags like you need to make yourself feel better by shouting buzzphrases whenever people bring up an older culture that you don't understand.
I'm doing a public service in letting you know what you're watching is shit.
>you there!! Dont use that bathroom stall, its full of shit and doesn't flush.
And your response seems to be "I like wallowing in shit"
He's right though, kill yourself for having such shit taste.
That's not even remotely true.
There are plenty of threads about shows that I have no interest in or think are pretty terrible. The way I deal with this is I just don't open them. It's hard to comprehend why other people don't just do the same.
>being proletariat filth with fucking atrocious taste
HURR DURR fuck off FUCKING RETARD
You don't like it? Then get the fuck out.
Liking chuushit auto discards your posts
There's a lot of blog and metashit lately.
I'm fairly sure at this point that anyone using the term /v/ermin is originally from /v/ themselves.
You sound like a redneck.
Part of the /a/ experience is growing a thick skin and developing an internal filter. Eventually, people call you a faggot and your opinions shit, and you automatically pay next to no attention to them.
Chill out; it's just /a/.
Nice damage control cuntface
Go back to your shounenshit you gay cunt
>OP can't handle the banter.
Not liking chuushit means I must like shounen right? Kill yourself
Is this the funposting general?
>YOUR SHOW IS SHIT AND ANYONE WHO DESIGREE IS A FAGGOT
>wrote a legit argumentation
>greentext(oh the irony, i know) and short insulting
Such an amazing "discussion", which suggest nothing but a namecalling.
Go look at the KLK fags, does those threads, does it look like huggboxing? they actually talking about the show they like, unlike faggots who keep on coming with their:"oh this shit sucks, what a watse of time, see ya next week", why the fuck do you even watching this in the first place?if you don't like it then don't watch, is that so hard to understand? good discussion will never born if people are only complaining and whining all the time or trying to prove everyone otherwise.
Is that the face she makes when you playfully bully her?
>Chill out; it's just /a/
But that's what I'm trying to convey here. Everyone is taking things far too seriously and are telling people to kill themselves.
Hating is just as bad as mindless praise. Constructive criticism is far better than just saying "x show is fucking shit because I say so".
>because newfags like you need to make yourself feel better by shouting buzzphrases
Look who's talking.
Far from being able to handle the banter, It's more like listening to a stand up comedian who's whole act is just saying "over the line socially taboo" things. It's not annoying because I am taking offense or have my feelings hurt, it's just incredibly tiresome after awhile.
That's just how we talk here. Even if we use angrywords, we're hardly raging behind our monitors. There's an image that describes this somewhat.
Anyways, get used to it or get out.
>Expecting decent conversations on any board as long as it's not off-topic
The only board where that happens is /tg/ because they can make anything /tg/ related
You can't endure it, so in other words, you can't handle the banter.
>we're hardly raging behind our monitors
I'd like to think that's the case, but somehow I'm not entirely convinced.
There's a difference between casual swearing and stringing together a chain of insults that makes you look like a raging 14 year old.
>That's just how we talk here
There was a time, when it was not as bad as it is now.
>does it look like huggboxing?
What world are you living in? KlKiddies are the biggest circljerkers in years. Even Madokafags would very often engage in proper argument about their show. KlKiddies simply cry "IRC" at every negative post regarding their show, and then go back to sucking eachother's dicks while praising Trigger for "saving anime".
Ok man, first of all.
People just saying the show is shit are shitposting, the same goes for the people who just spout garbage like "AotS, AotY" etc. Ignore those posts.
I critique some shows I watch, but I always try to say why I think what I think so there is some basis for a discussion. I had decent arguments with anons that loved Genei in their threads for example. This is good, this is not the place just to lavish shows with praise, sometimes you need to be brutal.
Also why the fuck do you care about what others think? Are you having fun with your shit shows? Yes? Then shut the fuck and have fun you whiny faggot. I've watched and enjoyed to some extend Coppelion, my AotS last season was Arpeggio, but you don't see me whining that other people find them bad or cgi-cancer.
I am curious why you think this is a good thing? It seems as though most /a/nons are under the impression that really snide and hateful comments will keep casuals and normalfags out most effectively. That's pretty uncreative, as I think genuine discussion of currently airing shows is just as capable of keeping casual viewers out as they won't know anything about it. Also you may not be conscious of it, but reading hateful comments and just general "fuck off retard" all the time, regardless of anyone actually being upset behind their monitor, will take a toll on your psyche -- subconsciously. The way we deal with retaining whatever shred of enjoyable board culture we have is a really uncreative and immature one, and all in all it doesn't seem very effective.
Enduring it isn't the issue. The issue is why would you want to sit on needles to begin with? What do you find enjoyable about the experience?
Maybe he's a masochist?
It sounds like you don't enjoy or watch KLK but are aware of what goes on in those threads. Why do you enter threads about shows you don't like?
Op op op......... You enter a thread about a currently airing show and 99% of the thread proclaims the show is shit. critical thinking shouldn't be needed to read between the lines. If it moes like a moe and moes like a moe. Its shit op. Plain and simple
>start browsing /a/ because you beleived there's no other place where you can feel at home
>it's actually as bad as anything else, or maybe even worse
Trying to speak with them friendly and all is just waste of time OP, they will keep acting hostile simply for the sake of it, there's no culture or idea behind it, simply being agressive towards anything, even if it's contradiction.
Because he's a troll.
>OP makes shitty thread about a show and asks for opinions
>get fuck off and it's shit replies
>OP mad and shitposts
I don't understand what you're conveying here.
Except I do watch and enjoy KlK. That doesn't mean I can't have negative thoughts about it. You don't have to think a show is absolutely perfect in order to enjoy it. And I don't lurk KlK threads anymore because of the disgusting culture I described in my previous post. You were wrong on all accounts. Congratulations.
If I didn't like it, I wouldn't be here.
Trolling has been part of 4chan's culture since it was created. Granted, it would be a better forum if there were no trolling but to ban trolls you can't keep it "anonymous".
Just ignore the trolls.
Then there's this. If a thread has a dumb original post, then make a single comment and move on. But no. Everyone wants to stick around and shitpost for 400 more posts.
I am wholly ambivalent to it.
>[it] will take a toll on your psyche
Sure, when I was a Geassfag during R2, the rampant shitposting took a toll on me, and I was pooped by the end, but you know what? I developed a thick skin. If you let everything that irritates you accumulate and fester, you'll rage yourself off of /a/. And you know what? Maybe /a/ is not for you. Or you can do what I call "develop your inner zen". Let the hate slide right off of you. I think you'll find that there's still plenty of fun to be had here.
Also, it's impossible to change board culture. The best you can hope for is to change a little niche you've carved out. Is there a particular type of thread you want to improve? Go for it. Unlucky Star was a tripfag who set a good example and cleaned up the Raildex Generals to some extent. Set a good example, and more people might take after you.
Now, there's nothing you can do about trolls, though. You can't even ignore them, since they reverse-troll themselves right back. You just gotta learn to deal with it or get out.
>That doesn't mean I can't have negative thoughts about it.
Usually I don't watch shows that I have negative opinions about. If I do, they're just really casual qualms about something minor, or I'm enjoying the silly quality or turn of events. But at least you don't lurk the threads anymore if you don't like them, that's a start.
did you just take a break from shitposting in KLK threads to post this here?
a trooly epig thred
