I get the feeling that the manga will end after this fight
Oga was afraid Beel would go with him...?
Basically Kunieda was calling Oga out for giving up Beel before Beel could give him up. That is, Oga only left Beel with his mother because he didn't want to get hurt and abandoned by his kid.
This last few arcs have been pacing at relativistic speeds; what a mess.
It hasn't seemed any different from usual to me. The arcs have always been rather quick.
The one time Kuineda get to suck Oga's dick is when she becomes petrified..
But OgaxHilda is OTP.
Kunieda and Hilda are both good characters. Too bad Oga's openly asexual.
Either because it's cancelled or he was just wants to quickly go back to slice of life comedy arcs
well that takamiya arc was pretty fucking long
>Toujou knocked out only after beating up 100 guys
what a fucking monster
But that's the opposite of what is being said
>kunieda finally confesses
we're just about wrapped here folks
He showed little reaction to that, probably didn't even understand what she meant
Oga's density is just an act that he puts up for comedic purposes and to avoid having to deal with situations such as this
Huh. Why the sudden rushed developments?
They were quick paced but not as ridiculously fast as the America arc and this current cluster fuck arc.
Oh yes, Alaindelon finally show up again, wonder if he'll show some power during this fight.
What a man, truly man among man.
>Furuichi teaming up with Laymia
he's definitely fucking Lamia now
Why is Chrollo fighting Oga?
>Who cares? Where's Takayuki?
Yeah, it is starting to remind me of Psyren's ending where the series got to end instead of being canceled outright but the last arc was very much rushed. That seems to be the case here. Hopefully Furuichi gets to contract with En or someone and not miss out on the fight.
Also I'm a bit disappointed that it seems the kids from the rich school were forgotten about in this arc.
Seems pretty common these days
Oh yeah, whatever happened to the reverse trap? She should've come to help her darling's battle.
she's off conquering nations
That Laymia and Furuichi combo.
Shouldn't she be mad at him for molesting her daughter?
Like any good mother, she wants her daughter to be happy with the man who makes her heart go doki doki.
she just wants Furuichi all to herself.
But there's enough Furuichi for her and her daughter and every other slutty demon that wants a contract
He scored the jackpot.
Also confirmed for femdom.
Once again my memory sucks. I didn't knew/remember that she was her mother.
I find it funny how Furuichi still hasn't been petrified despite being the weakest.
When this ends, will we get a Furuchi manga instead?
>You. Me. My Room.
Someone do it.
Mother daughter fight for Furuichi. Fun.
It's felt like it's going to end really abruptly for awhile. I mean, it consistentlys scrapes the bottom of Shonen Jump's weekly poll.
But at the same time, there's been no announcement and it's gotten through a lot of chapters.
Ishiyama really is full of men! Even the women!
Dammit, I was really hoping for some Worst-like group fighting and comradery! And they're all defeated offscreen!
So, which one is Satan and why is he doing this?
She probably supplied those demon barrier machines to Himekawa and got told to stay away because he didn't want anything to happen to her.
>Aoi telling Oga what a little bitch he is and than confessing while she goes down
Didn't expect her to stand her ground.
That would've been great, a bunch of delinquents that unite against a common enemy.
That work, Himekawa is so tsun.
>Everyone being beaten, the chapter
>Final boss appears
>Beelzebub comes back
>DEAD LAST IN THE RANKING
What the fuck is wrong with you Japan!?
Wasn't Beelzebub doing pretty well a year ago? What happened?
it falls to the bottom everytime there's a battle arc
If Furuichi isn't at the top of the Beelzebub popularity polls I'd be very disappointed.
Did we ever see all Seven of the Seven Deadly Sins?
Then we get a furuchi arc and it shoots up just enough to stay alive a little bit longer.
Where the hell have the teachers been this whole time? Especially Saotome and his band of old men and that one chick.
>Beelzebub surviving long enough to get another popularity poll
It'll probably go
Or fucking Beel's dad; why are they relying on Baby Beel? This arc is rushed way too much to make sense and the buildup is just too weak.
Well apparently Satan is strong enough to keep out Beelzebub the IV.
But you would think all those demon fighters in the human world would be somewhere around here.
I guess it is ending really quickly.
But maybe it'll get the Kiruko-san treatment. Ends in the main Shonen Jump magazine, get's restarted as a more comedy SoL in the online version of Jump.
>Ends in the main Shonen Jump magazine, get's restarted as a more comedy SoL in the online version of Jump
I wouldn't mind this
>Beelzebub drops to the bottom whenever it goes battle time
>Naruto remains in the top 3 when it's been stuck on the same arc for a year and has been repeating the same arc for six months
I wonder if Red Hawk would continue translating the sequel if that happened.
>get's restarted as a more comedy SoL
That could work, just keep the overpowered characters for comedic purposes.
I feel like it gets boring when it's just pure SoL though. There isn't any motivation for things to happen if it goes SoL.
Is it really ending soon? This arc didn't feel climactic when I read it a while ago
Better for you to have a good excuse Saotome. I hate characters that can do the job but not because muh disciple's growth.
Hiko Seijuuro gave two shits about who was in power, he was believable.
I just want more Furuichi and demons.
Well how about keeping the motivation to raising Beel to become a powerful demon lord, just tone down the battle for the throne part.
Same, really like the idea from last threads with the entire Behemoth squad freeloading in Furuichi's house.
The Behemoth Squad and Furuichi could've been a comedy goldmine.
But this series isn't about Furuichi.
This. Can someone explain this to me? I mean seriously.
Behemoth decides to retire, and names furuichi his successor. Now furuchi and his trusty loli second in command Lamia, have to work through the ranks, earning new contracts through various hijinks.
Beelzebub's main demographic are older readers. They stop voting for it when it's not funny.
Naruto has a massive demographic that constantly replaces each other in votes during shifts. The older readers might hate Madara dragging this crap out, but the younger generations love this edgy overpowered crap.
Simple as that. Naruto has a big enough fan base to 'alternate', Beelzebub put all their eggs in one basket, and threw the basket away.
>Beelzebub's main demographic are older readers. They stop voting for it when it's not funny.

Now that you point it out, it makes much more sense. To be honest i don't know if my disappointment with naruto began after pain arc bullshit, or i just grew up. Anyway i would love to see some Furuichi spin off. The tissue arc was one of the best imo.
Oh well. We still have about 6 chapters left before it all ends. Lets hope the rest of the chapters deliver something.
So, it's basically Nisekoi but comedy instead of romance?
His nen are sealed so now he use demonic power.
I only got disappointed in Naruto after everyone in Konoha was revived. That was real bullshit, for no good reason.
And then the fact that we've basically had the entire plan of the main villain explained, run through, defeated and stopped, and then it repeats itself again! absolutely infuriates me.
I always though Beelzebub's fandom couldn't decide what they liked best, hence why its been yo-yoing on the ToC for the past 2 years
If you look at the sales chart besides the obvious drop after the anime ended, it still sells pretty decently. Volume 25 sold 130,000 in 8 days
Things going so fast that I don't even know who these two villians are.
Thats exactly what im talking about. Such a great opportunity for MC development. But nope, still have "i fight for my friends" stuff. Well ,shonen i know.
Btw. Iff beelezbub suddenly got better ratings is it possible it will continue?
>this page comes up
>my mind starts playing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lsn2tT5yTc
I don't think its just rating though. Shonen Jump has just moved on. Beelzebub stopped having hype and marketing a while ago. Newer series like Nisekoi, AssClass, and Soma are already outselling it.
If it had another anime season and pulled a Kuroko no Basuke, then maaaybe. But I don't think so. I think the author himself has decided to end it.
That's too bad. I always felt lack of furuichi in series. I hope for some Furuichi squad spinoff. I need more Lamia in my life.
I've been waiting for these two in a fight together for so long. Ever since we found out that she's Lamia's mom.
>I need more Lamia in my life.
Same here. Furuichi was always my favorite. There's still some time left before it ends so hopefully Furuichi will get some kind of spotlight. ;_;
Hey /a/, do you think the author will release a databook or something? Medaka Box and Psyren both did one after it ended.
whoops forgot my picture
It's boring as shit right now?
You know, goofy shit like character profiles, extra omake, maybe some color illustrations
Kuroko no Homoball actually benefits from animation.
>Appealing looking art style
>Really shitty and bare boned art meant for comedy
>Really cheesy and outdated fighting scenes because it's a fucking parody
It's like asking for Transfer Student Storm Bringer to get animated. Who the fuck would want that?
>It's like asking for Transfer Student Storm Bringer to get animated
I had totally forgotten about that. The whole last part with white hair dude dragged on way too long without being funny anyway.
> Jump hype for the Tsuna x Oga fight
Reborn fanbase is dead for some time now. When this was made Beelzebub was still popular?
I was hoping being in the game would help, but now it doesn't seem it i'll get that far
Studio Pierrot was the worst studio to animate it as well.
inb4 Lachryma and Furuichi are beaten off-screen.
Beelzebub is still a somewhat popular series for Jump, and it has at its core a pretty loyal fujo fanbase. Not including Oga would have been really questionable.
At least we found out Yunhee was a girl.
I wonder if it's also that tastes have moved on too.
The delinquent school setting that Beelzebub parodies hasn't been seriously done in a shonen manga for a long time now. it was dated even when Beelzebub started, but now it's pretty ancient. The lessons and character types just don't resonate with today's youth, and to them Beelzebub is just a half-decent comedy with some boring battle scenes and weird bullies.
The fact that comedy gags cover up the decent character development and plot doesn't help either. There were a lot of scenes where characters grew and changed, and then slapstick comedy just kind of knocked them out of the spotlight, so for the average reader who might just be looking in on it once or twice a month they just see gag comedy and not a serious shonen story.
It never really mattered
You know, as much as I enjoy Furuichi, I really do prefer him being a side character/supporting protagonist. If he got his own series, we'd have to deal with all his perverted mutterings and his strategist thoughts, whereas in Beelzebub it's funnier to see him acting perverted and coming up with great ideas.
It does to me.
>Beelzebub ending in 6~8 chapters
>Naruto ending within the year
>Bleach ending in 3 years
Man, I feel really old.
Swagamoto kinda disagrees. Everything about it from the comedy to the drawing style is fucking ancient dinosaur. Skip Beat is more fresh looking than it.
Ju Ingong please
Woah, I didn't really even think about it that way. But you're right, delinquent manga has really fallen out of fashion in recent years.
This might also explain why parts of Beelzebub's fandom are in denial about it ending and other parts absolutely raging and bitter.
HOW DID YOU KNOW? SHIT DO YOU KNOW MUH SECRET?
I would never tell anyone your secret hyoungnim
being perveted, strategist and weak makes him the perfect sidekick for the race of MCs that Oga belongs ( sexually oblivious, dumb and strong )
every MC like that should have a Furuichi
Oh, well that'd be nice to see.
>delinquent manga has really fallen out of fashion in recent years.
Ah what a shame, there was so many fun manga like that before.
But that's not serialized in Shonen Jump, the biggest manga magazine in Japan.
Neither is Attack on Titan or Fairy Tail etc etc. That has nothing to do with how successful your manga can be.
And Swagamoto sells pretty fucking well no?
Agreed. There's something about his suffering that comes across way more sympathetic than if we were in his head all the time
It would be great to have a databook/fanbook, especially since none of the demons have character profiles
Furuichi is just super easy to relate to
Didn't that manwha get a restart because the first one is shit?
Nope, it got a restart because the author wanted to do a "What if the reverse had happened and Ju Ingong was the opposite of who he was? Super strong but super unlucky."
It sucked more than the first one, but was meant to be more like a fan service for the readers who kept going WHAT IF WHAT IF on Naver.
>Beelzebub drops to the bottom whenever it goes battle time
Because it's awful at it and shouldn't even think about going there.
>Lucifer is painfully long
>Satan arc is rushed as fuck
GOD FUCKING DAMMIT
Yeah Lucifer was pointless and really fucking boring. There should've been a break between Lucifer, Solomon, and Satan each, filled with gags.
We still need to meet the other 3 sins.
Unless they timeskip and it's revealed the three of them are all girls and have contracts with Furuichi now
Nah, they're just going to ignore them. I mean, Satan offed everyone already, and the other Sin users sided against him and were beaten.
Satan/Oga's battle will take up 3 of the remaining chapters, then Oga/Fuji will take up 2 more. The last chapter will be everyone returning to St. Ishiyama because Ishiyama needs to get repaired again, and the series will ened.
It's trying to be funny by parodying battle time, but it's not.
It's not genuinely going battle manga. It's trying to mock it, but it tries way too fucking hard.
>You're not the same Oga that I fell head over heels...
oh my fuck this really is ending
Demon Summoner Furuichi.
Contrary to the title, it'll be a slice of life with the Pillar Squad.
They made a mistake read the raw.
It's implied his partner is a royal demon and that if he fought it would cause a war to break out.
>One piece done in 7 years.
having a kid will make you asexual
Pretty sure Oga was asexual before Beel arrived on scene
Used to like that series, but it slowly went downhill. It used to be awesome, until they started to like their teacher. Plus, the latest arc is so shitty and predictable. I mean, who wouldn't fucking guess who that bad guy's silhouette belongs to?
Sounds about right. If Tamura has Miki show up again in the final chapter it may even be forgivable.
So Furuichi now has Lamia, Laymia, Alaindelon and his daughter, Nene, and the entire pillar squad in his harem
Truly a man amongst men.
Wait a second. He was able to get dates... I thought he was always turned down.
Could it be that he's actually a ladies man but never gets the chance to show off his true power?
Oga and his 'buddies' always mess it up.
Now there's two loli. What a lucky guy.
Oga's influence is basically hazardous for Furuichi's life. If Oga decides to stay in the demon world with Beel and Hilda his love life would seriously pick up.
/a/, this is the friendliest Beelzebub thread I have seen. Why are other places such shitholes?
Everyone is giving their final respects.
At age 11 he was already a lady killer. If it weren't for Oga he'd be running his own harem manga.
Who will win in the end? Hilda?
Beel will win.
I wonder if the last chapter will show some sort of timeskip to let us get a glimsp of an older Beel.
>tfw Beelzebub will end soon and we'll never see Aoi's friends appear in the manga again
Feels bad man
And he will grow up to be just like his father, neglecting his son and hanging out with Oga.
Why do you insist on shitposting?
I just want to see teenage Beel being chase around by his two girls and Oga watching from afar.
With Kouta dying of jealousy as Futaba pays more attention to Beel than him, and grownup!Furuichi getting a sense of de ja vu
> everyone saying Berubo is ending
my fcking sides. There still a lot of story to cover here. I seriously doubt that they're gonna axe it right here even if it's near the bottom. Do you really think that this arc is rushed? What could they had added? It just feels rushed as fuck because they are showing how powerful Satan and Fuji really is. They dont have time to put some stupid gags/scenes in between fights just to make it longer. They can put flashbacks on what happened in Ishiyama while Oga was in the US or some history between Beelzebub and Satan in the past and thats that.
>What could they had added?
Well, just off the top of my head:
-actually show the other ishiyama kids dealing with shit while oga isnt' there, with gags etc
-explain the machine himekawa has
-show people fightint rather than just have them turn to stone as soon as they appear or already so
-show Furuichi and the Pillar Squad with the contracts
> actually show the other ishiyama kids dealing with shit while oga isnt' there, with gags etc
> explain the machine himekawa has
They will surely do it later. Everything still needs to be explained. One good theory is Himekawa's fiancee gave it to him.
> show people fightint rather than just have them turn to stone as soon as they appear or already so
> show Furuichi and the Pillar Squad with the contracts
This and how Furuchin and Laymia are the only ones left.
You can't be serious. Last weeks chapter was called "Countdown" and right before Oga gave Beel back to Iris he said "its time for the finale". Its ending, just admit it.
A Shounen Manga got a confession from one of the main girls. Its ending soon.
Sad really, it was a fun read for the non-combat.
>the part everyone wanted to see most happened offscreen
Oga's gonna have to get his mind wiped if this doesn't end soon
