>one day in the distant future, you will die before finishing your backlog
there's only about five series on my backlog
i don't even watch that much anime
I doubt it. I only have 30 shows on backlog and I watch airing shows as they come.
>one day in the distant future, /a/ will have ontopic threads
I don't really want to watch most of the shit in my backlog, so whatever.
who gives a fuck
I'll be dead
>manga backlog over 160 series
>haven't even been reading manga for a full year
>one day in the distant future, there will be an anime that actually saves anime
>near 300 shows on ptw
I can do this before I die.
>one day in the distant future, the anime industry will die - no more anime will be produced.
I call bullshit.
Yeah, I don't believe it either.
Well, if you actually look at Japan's economic and geopolitical position in the world, things are worse than they've ever been.
But don't worry; anime is Japan's dominant export, to the point where someone else will start producing it when Japan becomes utterly irrelevant and fatally impoverished/dominated.
Have you not been paying attention to this season?
Have you not been watching the last two episodes
>mfw it will be Korea and hardcore weebs who've tricked themselves into adopting Japanese nationalism will refuse to support it out of spite
Yeah and I enjoyed them both a lot
Although they leave me a little worried that this series is going to have an incredibly underwhelming ending since the general plot has been progressing incredibly slowly
Well, thus far, only the Koreans have been able to imitate manga in a satisfactory manner.
I suspect South Korea will be the next Japan within 30 years.
Not really I'm running out off shit that keeps me interested, soon I'll just be watching current airing anime then grow out of it.
>50+ series on backlog
>15+ VNs currently installed on backlog
This will take me until at least 2015 to finish. Why do I keep adding more?
I know this feel, I recently said fuck it and just deleted my backlog. If I haven't pushed myself to watch it yet (when there's been plenty of times I haven't been watching anything at all) I obviously wasn't that interested to begin with
>anime is Japan's dominant export,
>hello darkness my old friend
pretty much this, I know there are still some good shows out there I haven't watched yet, but it's pretty hard to find them when you've watched probably around 1000 different series.
I have stuff that's been sitting in there for years, that I have no desire to watch anymore.
Excuse me, dominant cultural export.
I assume their dominant material export is car engines or something.
I don't think I'll stop watching currently-airing shit anytime soon, though. It's just that I don't care to watch the majority of anime.
There's another way to cut your backlog. Think to yourself "Is this shit really worth my time?". I eliminated a bunch of shows, mostly harems and SoL
Korean make car engines now.
Japan's dominate export is onaholes
That's a good image, OP.
>Mostly harems and SoL
Funny, when I ask myself the same question, I end up deleting fantasy and sci-fi shows from the 90's and generic superpower shows.
>Not going otoshigami modo and watching six anime at once
MC Ride is so moe
>tfw 2014 will bring the next evangelion
what is this gibberish?its pretty good.
It's the sound of MC Ride spilling his own guts
>MC Ride will die in your lifetime
What was his name?
I hope so, really hope so
Fuck backlog, after Eva 4.0 I can die in peace
But the matter is 4.0: Final when? Clock ticking
I also have a massive backlog of JRPGs, anime is easier to keep up with to be honest.
>10 animes war watched
>20 on my backlog
>one day in the distant future
Sorry, I don't have one of those.
