I still remember it like it was just yesterday.
It only had like 5 pages of fanarts on Pixiv. When I searched the title on Youtube, there were only like 2 videos related to it and the rest were just some other videos related to swords.
Only a small amount of people knew it. The massive crowd of mainstream anime fans who are obsessed toward Naruto and Bleach never heard of it. I only saw about 3 successful threads on /a/ about it and even then, the threads were slow and the amount of posters who participated in those threads were small. We had a nice civil talk and posted only a few pictures related to it that were available at the time.
But those days are over. Ever since the anime aired, everything just isn't the same anymore, and not for the better.
I'm going to miss those days. I'm going to miss the times when that series only had a very little exposure and only a handful of people, me included, knew about it.
You've changed, Sword Art Online. I didn't want you to change, but reality isn't so kind.
why the fuck do you care? or is your behavior the very definition of a hipster?
You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of 4chan are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!
Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bit to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!
Haven't seen this since forever.
