>You should read some shoujo anon
>It's a nice change of pace anon
THAT FUCKING PIGFACED CUNT.
Try good shoujos next time, like Rose of Versailles
Why is shoujo manga art so bad?
You should read Kitchen Princess, OP. It'll make you feel all warm and fuzzy.
Some good long form shoujo manga(that I've read):
>Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou
>the equivalent of Twilight in shoujo
Yeah, try something decent.
Some cute on-going ones are Kimi ni Todoke and Dengeki Daisy.
As for the completed ones, try classics like
These 3 are school settings.
This is like a SOL
These last two are adventure type things, and quite long, but found them extremely enjoyable.
Speaking of mangas, I've been trying to find another nice genderbender series. I'm currently reading both Ame Nochi Hare and Boku Girl, and I'm trying to find something along those lines. Could any of you throw out some suggestions for me to look into?
Does it have NTR to any degree?
Manga, my bad, I was a little bit in a rush on typing it out, sorry.
At least you don't have ten volumes of it sitting on your bookshelf.
Rose of Versailles is excellent and quite the read.
Good shoujo manga:
Hirunaka no Ryuusei
Kimi ni Todoke
Love So Life
Taiyou no Ie
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
Warau Kanoko-sama + the sequel
+Waifu tier MCs
+Standard love parallelogram plots
If you don't like shojou high school drama then these won't interest you. But if you've tried other series and been repulsed by the bland MCs and spider appendages these might improve on that.
pic related, the MC from Taiyou no Ie
Read some Last Game anon. It'll cheer you up.
Check out Ao haru Ride if you are into that. Latest chapters have me wanting to punch a hole through my computer screen
>Standard love parallelogram plots
Is that even a good thing?
>Kimi ni Todoke
Kimi ni Todoke is everything wrong with shoujo romance in one single series.
Is there any good josei/shoujo where it's a bit smutty and there's no 100+ chapters of hand holding shit?
I guess what I want is something like Hapi Mari.
I don't. Vampire Knight is enough NTR for anyone to suffer through to know that they don't like it.
...if you haven't read much shoujo, maybe. It's nowhere near the worst shoujo has to offer, and outside of the main couple, it even approaches good at times.
I'm pretty sure you're WAY more likely to find couples actually fucking in shoujo than in shounen romance series.
I needed an excuse to dump these.
I've read worse. What don't you like about it anon?
You're reading wrong shoujo, man.
The whole goddamned demographic is a fucking minefield. Do your research first, or you'll end up diving in shit.
Is Nana any good?
If you like suffering and 5-year hiatuses, go right ahead.
Is anime adaptation any good then?
I had to put it on hold after chapter 8 when the MC decided to pursue main boy even though pure innocent friend-chan is interested
Is there a lot of NTR? I wouldn't mind seeing certain characters get rekt
And whats with the fixation on necks and sweat?
It's only fault is that it's WAY too naive and innocent. It might be a pretty big fault, but nothing else is very wrong with it.
That was 83 milions of posts ago, can you believe it?
Was there anyone who actually liked the ending and doesn't want to kill things?
What kind of person was this meant to appeal to?
Nothing is more disappointing to me then seeing an interesting concept or setting in a manga description only to find out it's a shoujo.
I don't usually drop manga that I consider good when they make me rage.
This made me rage so hard I dropped it in a hearbeat and was never tempted to go back.
But it's not bad.
Where did you drop it anon?
I actually did read Vampire Knight, let me tell you Matsuri Hino is a stupid ass bitch who should stick to writing short mangas and not full blown shoujos that get all out of proportion. SHIT ENDING TO VAMPIRE KNIGHT. WHY? ALL THE RAGE..
I mean, it's realistic, I guess, but holy shit all of my rage.
you have excellent taste
It's a common lesson in life. Nice guy finishes last, and the abusive fuckface wins because he's prettier.
The whole thing with the friend ended pretty quickly. But its pretty satisfying NTR in a way since the main boy decided to NTR MC and then she NTR him back a few chapters later. Shit felt so fucking satisfying for some reason
Old school shojo is where is at.
Also, you guys remember that one that was about a world where all the women had died except one and all men had gone full homo, I kinda forgot the name?
I just couldn't see friend-chan get abused
A genderbent Y: The Last Man? You have piqued my interest.
Old school shojo was really, reaaaally gay.
Also, Kaze ki no Uta.
Recommend me some mangas where the qt main character gets hurt/wounded and is saved by her love interest.
I saw one of these a while back, can't remember the name of it but it involved some poor girl who's name started with M attending a high school with rich kids and the biggest dick of the cool group of the 4 richest assholes falls in love with her.
Bad things happen to her pretty much every volume, and I love it.
Was it about a blonde kid in a desert who got into a lot of gay situations and needed to be rescued?
>Recommend me some mangas
No, fuck off.
Hana Yori Dango.
Domyouji best boy. Fuck the haters !
And also fucking awful.
People recommending this piece of trash is probably the number one reason so many anons don't like shoujo.
I just like reading about qts getting hurt and then rescued. Is that so bad?
Is there good Shoujo without shit art?
Is this the one where there are siblings, all angels are evil dicks and MC is some kind of reincarnation of some bigshot devil?
Jesus shit not this. I have pretty high tolerance for shoujo bullshit but I couldn't plod through this one.
Is the anime worth watching or is it better to go with the manga?
Would that deaf girl manga count? Because that's fun.
I love it. I hate the art style hough.
Also Crimson Hero is a guenuinely good sportshit shoujo.
Yeah, this is honestly the major problem I have with it. I quite liked KnT when it first came out, but someway along the anime's airing I started to dislike it. I found myself routing for the bitchy one instead (Kurumi, I think?) and found myself incredibly frustrated at how sweet and sugary everything was. I think I got diabetes. I was extremely pleased when I found out Heroine Shikkaku existed, a manga that practically revolves around Kurumi trying to break the cutesy shoujo couple apart.
It's fucking excellent. Definitely one of the best. Also one of the best selling manga of all time but like another anon said, it's been on hiatus for years since the mangaka is ill. I think it got really frustrating towards the part where she left it on hiatus, but it's still one hell of a ride. Anime is great. Madhouse put a lot of work into it, especially with the music.
You are a nigga of mine.
It kills me that it hasn't been updated in months. Hell, I can't even find raws of in between volumes online, Shit sucks.
I can't read shojo manga, it's always about the male love interest being a fucking asshole and the girl enjoy it.
I thought it was called Girl by Hwan Mi Ri? Or Boy.
Not always, actually. Read Rose of Versailles. Main love interest is a fucking bro.
So Jap Y: The Last Man? Sounds fun.
The main cast is so completely, utterly and hopelessly unlikable it boggled my mind. It wasn't even some big bullshit going down that threw me away from it. I just... stopped reading in the middle of a chapter and never looked back.
Oh, and while reverse harems and rivals in love are staple in shoujo romances this one executed the old tropes in a really bad way.
It's about a poor but ballsie girl in a richfag school. She ends up being bullied by 4 bishie douchebag. The boss of the group ends up falling for her.
That manga is absolutely appalling, literally keyaids tier.
Old school shoujo is my fetish.
I can't get enough of it but it breaks my heart that nearly all of it isn't translated and will never get translated. KazeKi especially.
Hapi Mari is smut. Josei smut, at that.
If you still want shoujo where couple actually progresses Sukitte Ii na Yo is a good place to start.
gentlmens alliance was pretty good.
The art style is too jarring for my liking - it's distracting.
And that's putting it lightly.
I remember reading this but dropping it somewhere in chapter 80 or somewhere around that.
What's that long shoujo that finished recently? I can't recall the name for the life of me but it was generic as fuck. Hero was a douchey bad boy with a sob story, girl naive but homely and caring. Towards the end hero got knocked down by a car (hilarious shit) and there was a forced love triangle, all in the last ten chapters or something.
It sold really well and I could have sworn it was going to get an anime, but it got two crappily animated OVAs instead.
This is breddi gud
I dont even remember, some anon dumped volumes last year.
Too bad the artist suffers from severe sameface.
Holy shit, that's fucking terrifying.
Same here I dropped it after 20+ volumes thinking it couldn't possibly go for much longer and that I'll read it once it's done.
It's up to 31 now.
70s shoujo love interests were bros. Then female mangakas got creative freedom and started exploring their sexuality
>generic as fuck
When did it get those OVAs? That's like the only lead you gave.
>Girl by Hwan Mi Ri
Yes, the description gave me a boner
Saw first episode of the anime. Didn't click with me at all.
This one was a nice read and had nice art, even if it didn't go anywhere.
2010/2011? Might have been done by Asread/JC Staff.
I was going to say Kyou Koi Wo Hajimemasu but you lost me at that.
Wait, it did get OVAs.
What in the fuck.
It's exactly like that, AND MORE.
Careful though, it's smutty.
The story is as bad as the art.
Surprising I know.
>Japan has one of the world's worst cases of bullying
>Let's make the bullies into love interests
Shoujo mangas are the best argument in favor of misogyny
I just looked it up and yep, it was Koi alright.
OVAs were animated by JC Staff and came out in 2010.
I used to read this. Dem eyes.
Did it got somewhere?
Neckbeards can't understand the pleasure of being slaved by an alpha male. Stick to your "cute girls doing cute shit" shows and let fangirls to enjoy their fap material
I do love me some noodle Yomi.
These better be good, anon, I'm placing my trust in shoujo on your hands.
You guys made me remember this manga I read when people started to scanlate it.
It was Koko Iru yo or something like that, it was about this girl without a presence that likes blogging and stuff. She even got hit by some dude on a motorcycle since he didn't see her or some shit.
Anyone else read it?
I like Morigan Ai stuff. Artstyle is pleasant though suffering from sameface, and it's really funny. Romance is nit really important thouh.
>Who do you love
The one who treat her like shit. Problem solved and without 100+ chapters
Pretty much everything by this author.
Especially Kaikan Phrase, Love Celeb and Haou Airen.
Just a warning though, the heroines are weak and retarded and the guys are always-horny alpha males that protect them.
Gotta be that. It was pretty meh, actually, I think. Mostly because of art.
Asshole male leads are good if their asshole side is not overblown. This male lead was not good.
Ludwig Kakumei is great.
A lot of japanese girls are masochists, it can't be helped.
And well, you can't deny the erotic component in different gender bullying.
Clamp hasn't made shoujo in a long time. They work on shounen/seinen magazines now. Tsubasa was shounen and XXXholic was seinen
At least best boy wins in Barajou no Kiss.
Not like he had any legit competition though.
What was even cooler was that they were all literal bros. Some of them even lived together and went to see gay French films together. Living the dream.
There's really not many out there, good or not, but try Boku wa Mari, Kanojo ni Naru Hi (and the new Another sequel), Nyotai-ka, Balance Policy...I forget others
>What kind of person was this meant to appeal to?
>Clamp hasn't made anything remotely decent in a long time
I liked Kobato
But goddamn this faggot was such insufferable piece of shit
>and the new Another sequel
Wait wait, we are getting an Another manga?
Eh, start with Taiyou no Ie or Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. Kimi ni Todoke and Love so Life might be a bit too sweet/naive.
Good choices are also aforementioned Sukitte Ii na yo and my all-time favorite, Mekakushi no Kuni (Land of the Blindfolded).
This whore is the most hateful MC of any shoujo I've ever read. Sure all the other spineless bitches from other series are annoying, but it's like the author wanted you to outright hate this slut.
Love Celeb was depressing.
Her producer kept saying she'd have to fuck him 24/7 if she wanted to make it big, and she did.
Otakus have their tsunderes but Japan's deeply rooted gender roles always put the male on the power position. The tsundere can't never hurt the male lead on a physical or emotional level, she's just a cute toothless puppy, The violence is played for laughs. Shoujo violence is more realistic, the male lead is always in the power position and the violence is played as drama; the male lead can hurt the female lead and he constantly do it. That's kinda creepy but maybe it's just because I'm a guy
Why don't shoujo manga try anymore? There's nothing good running at the moment except for Sukitte. I'll throw Kuragehime in too even though it's josei.
It's the reason I dropped the manga. Her and that damn cousin
Hirunaka no Ryuusei = country girl comes to city, sensei + kuudere boy love interests, nice appearing but conniving bestfriend
Kimi ni Todoke = pure girl, popular boy; side characters are more interesting
Love So Life = hard working orphan girl, age gap, childcare (two twins, girl is babysitter)
Taiyou no Ie = another orphan girl, troubled family dynamics, all characters likeable
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun = autistic main boy, smart but cold MC; MC's best friend is really cool
Warau Kanoko-sama = main girl is watamote + 8man; she observes people and susses out social dynamics
pic from taiyou no ie
>reading Vampire Knight
>not watching Vampire Knight
You brought this upon yourself, go watch Kuroshitsuji.
>Hana Yori Dango
She didn't slept with him, she just... let him finger her and shit like that.
I think the other guy slept with her/raped her, the rich guy that had her live in his house.
Both the anime and manga did everything right.
>[X]Best girl wins
>[X]Best guy wins
That's just a type of shoujo, that /a/ for some reason assume being the most common one.
Glasses boy wasn't so bad on the manga but the anime gave him a shoujo make-over. The anime even introduced a "nice guy" to make the typical shoujo love triangle that faggot appeared on the manga but he barely got 2 panels so it doesn't count
Does she and the director that have a pedo crush on her ever fuck?
Last time I read it they still hadn't, and ayumi just let her fall off a bridge in the middle of nowhere.
Not sure if it counts as Shoujo, but I like that "Girl by the Sea" manga. I forget the nip name.
Watashi ga Motete Dousunda is one of the few decent ones I can name. None of the characters have been assholes so far. Fairly amusing premise.
Isn't that by the creator of punpun?
What would /a/ want in a shoujo?
I think so. I'm not 100% sure, though.
In any case, I like Punpun a lot as well.
The problem for discussing shoujo is that its readers, often females, tend to disregarded the creepy factor because the male lead has a sad past or some bullshit so it wasn't really rape, domestic abuse, bullying, etc. I admit fanboys aren't better (see any waifu thread)
You niggas even yurishit?
Mariko was best girl.
Yes it is.
I didn't realise another scanlator had picked it up. Brilliant.
Too bad Mariko went straight after putting her shit together. Actually Onii-sama is pretty great as a shoujo but it's the most homophobic anime ever only surpassed by Maria Holic
No, it's creepy as fuck.
It's nicer when the male is kind instead of acting like some brooding douchebag.
>go watch Kuroshitsuji.
it's like a shit version of count cain
>I was ugly and fat, now I magically became thin and cute
10/10 writing, sasuga shoujo.
Great manga though, I love it.
>I didn't realise another scanlator had picked it up. Brilliant.
I'm not sure if they did - I only recently found it myself and haven't gotten past the first chapter or 2. I'm sorry for raising your hopes
Girls find boring when the male lead acts like a decent human being
I'm all in for cute kind boys, it's Japan who has shit taste.
A lot has happened since then. The bridge stuff happened in like 2005/2006 when the new anime aired. Since then director's crazy as fuck waifu (forced engagement) found out he was a pedo by seeing all the school mementos she sent her kindly 'benefactor', put two and two together and flipped the fuck out. Went all Rosmary's Baby on her and tried to frame her for stealing a ring and everything.
They admit their feelings for each other on a cruise (Maya is 18 or 20 at this stage), and they're about to get engaged, I think? There's still problems with the crazy waifu though. Maya's ex-boyfriend pops up from time to time. Something about Ayumi too.
There's no raws or translations from that period, everything available online is from 2010 or so meaning there's a five yearish gap.
>but it's the most homophobic anime ever only surpassed by Maria Holic
I've seen someone say this before, if not word from word. Was that you before too?
Domyouji was actually pretty interesting because he's such an idiot, it's fucking Tsukushi who ruins things.
I just had a really bad experience with Ayashi no ceres.
I would have figured women would draw better than men, but most shoujo drawn by women(so in other words most shoujo) are terrible in that regard.
Alot of Otome Games have good art though.
Women who can draw good are doing seinen and shounen, probably they have more freedom to do what they like.
No no, sorry, it's the manga called "Kanojo ni Naru Hi Another" (it's not actually a sequel, just another story set in the same world), the second chapter was just released, it's good.
>when living in a country where you're constantly being treated like a piece of meat because of your gender, pretending it's a good thing can be comforting
Shoujo love interests are massive pieces of shit because patriarchy. Seriously.
I wish there were more Asano males in shoujo. I love Punpun and Umibe's lead. They're really fascinating.
HYD's mangaka wanted Rui to win da tsukushi but the fangirls loved Domouji too much so they basically forced the mangaka to make him the love interest. Rui was the real alpha male with the superior genes.
>possessive long-haired girly boy wins
This surprises you?
It looked fantastic for a tv series.
And it had batshit crazy Oscar, Dezaki was too based we'll never see anime adaptations like these again.
What are you talking about, it was a fantastic series.
In Vampire Knight?
Don't read something as a change of pace. Read to try something new or because you like it.
The main character was pulled around by a rope attached to a car at one point. I can't believe they didn't have a hospital arc after that.
It's the same as with shounen tsunderes. Lots of people like that stuff.
>>I was ugly and fat, now I magically became thin and cute
Yeah, that was pretty dumb, I can't defend that. Still found it amusing since it's just an exaggerated joke.
Hopefully it'll stay light hearted. Need some more of that sort of shojo.
Woah, I didn't know, thanks.
This is true.
One of the best females artists, Asumiko Nakamura, draws across a wide spectrum of demographics and genres. She goes from BL to seinen and everything in between.
So wait, its released but not translated yet?
Don't mind the mind break rape.
And she fucking forgives it too.
Could you kindly tell me what the fuck is wrong with you?
I don't really like witnessing someone's abuse, suffering and NTR for nearly a hundred chapters, only to have it end with him apologizing.
The moral is rich people can get away with anything? Actually, it's a pretty realistic moral, especially for a vertical society like Japan but it's beyond fucked up. It make me miss Riyoko Ikeda's leftist mangas
How about shoujos that aren't romances?
For some reason my tolerance of male tsunderes far exceeds female. Maybe it's because they're done better.
HAHA, OH WOW.
I bet you like Kuroshitsuji and Junjou Romantica too.
The main slut had two kids from different men, one being her fucking brother Not that this is something /a/ would mind, but all of that combined is fucking disgusting.
Translations are going at a snail's pace too. They're still at the Crimson Goddess arc with Maya and Ayumi training in the mountains. The language isn't even that hard (shoujo so there's furigana and shit) so I've no idea why there's months between each chapter.
The apologising only referred to his disappearing act after they left the school.
It went from interesting SoL romance to interesting fantasy romance to well, a lackluster ending.
All with great art and a very likeable heroine.
We're not in the 90s anymore. Enjoy your high school romance and blackmail.
He took some of the blame onto himself and said he regretted his actions. Not apologizing, but still pretty bad.
You're also forgetting he had to raise someone else's incest baby.
Seriously? I always thought the author loved Domyouji based on how much she talked about the makings of his hairstyle in the first couple volumes.
Who won? Vampire or that grey haired faggot?
This. I can't stand female tsunderes at all. Male ones are far more likeable.
A shoujo that I would recommend to the male a/nons is Otomen. Male MC likes cute shit, but he has to put on a manly front for his mom, but he secretly wishes he could be a cute little girl. Also his love interest looks like Rukia.
Ouran High school Host Club is also really fun.
And there is Skip Beat that would be a fucing masterpiece is the shitty romance with Ren wasn''t such a drag.
Also my fav shoujo atm is a shounen... It's very beautiful, it's about koto playing and the romance is great.
Kuroshitsuji was boring no plot
and Junjou Romantica was too gay for me. Loveless was much better in this regard.
Fat fujoshi magically becomes thin and beautiful? AND It's by the person who did Combini-kun? Yes that is all of my fetishes.
(Combini-kun is also good, but it's not really shoujo, just BL. All the NSFW stuff is saved until the end, though.)
You've a terminal case of shit taste. Please seek help immediately.
Fakir was a miracle of the universe. Tolerable female Tsunderes are rare.
Both. The vampire got sealed or some shit at the end so the slut married the grey haired faggot. After some time, she somehow freed the vampire and stayed with him.
>had two kids from different men
I don't remember this.
Vampire fucked her and left her pregnant with the grey-haired faggot when he went off to die. They proceeded to have a platonic relationship, fucking at least once over however long their lives were.
MC then decided to kill herself to bring back the vampire.
Vampire faggot won.
Didn't the weight loss happen over a week too?
Sasuga shoujo indeed.
>Implying /a/ ever talks about or recommends shoujo like Vampire Knight to anyone
Why do landwhales like OP pretend /a/ actually wants to talk to them or reads the shit manga they read?
Judging from the responses in this thread, seems like landwhales really are that delusional
It's probably not shoujo, but Miman Renai has kind of a shoujo artstyle/vibe.
Also Fujoshi Rumi was pretty good. The main girl is pretty dense, but thankfully there is a second couple in it rather than a love triangle situation.
Fakir was moe as well. All of the Tutus were, actually. One of those rare series where everyone is shockingly, completely different than how they're first presented. I thought Fakir and Rue were total assholes and couldn't stand them at first. Towards the end they became my absolute favorites in the series.
I really liked reading this one. Good art, Ayuzawa is waifu tier and I never found Usui's gary stu-ness annoying.
Also there's more money on shounen/seinen. There are only like 3 or 4 shoujo/josei titles in the top 50 of manga sales, the rest are shounen/seinen. Regardless the common believe, Basugay and similar stuff are technically "shounen".
I'm not sure these exists anymore, girls at this point read shounen so shoujo became 99% romance.
It's great, too bad only 3 chapters are out.
>implying Maid-sama was good
>it was a fantastic series.
I won't entirely disagree, but I did never finished it, only up until the part where Zero discovers she went full noble.
>Yes that is all of my fetishes.
It doesn't really do much. It's just an excuse for the boys not to have chased her before that point in the story.
Hopefully Junko will do more shoujo after this.
>realize a bunch of the series I'm following are shoujo or josei
I must be blind
Really, no mention of this in the thread?
I just went to google image search.
>>implying Maid-sama was good
Opinions man. It may not have been that good but it was definitely enjoyable for me at least
Usui was annoying as fuck.
That being said, that ending was horrible.
Seriously, they dated for over 12 years and they never had sex? And now they barely see each other as she travels the world and he's in UK and shit like that?
Ruined everything for me.
>Dezaki was too based
It's a right fucking shame. Everything about that series was perfect. Melodramatic shoujo of Oniisama's caliber are so difficult to come by.
It was something like that. She got depressed over her favourite character dying, stayed at home and didn't eat. Returned to school pretty.
You will never love your husbando/waifu as much as she loved him.
I'm still mad they never animated the other half of the series.
>they dated for over 12 years and they never had sex
I thought otaku were the ones who were scared of sex.
Marginal, haven't checked up on it in a while. Speaking of which it's officially been over a year since the first omnibus of Swan was scanlated.
Marginal isn't fully translated, right?
I just read the last two chapters. That didn't happen.
I count 1 kid and its Kaname's.
Picked up Bokura no Kiseki recently, really like it, although it's a Josei.
Seems cute, will read.
Otomen is great, it always make tears laughing.
I don't think so, IIRC Pink Panzer was working on it and they've been in a half-vegetated state for a few years.
Stress with lack of eating can do many things.
I can't pick up any more manga
I have too much
Who does she end up with? It's probably going to be that one faggot, right? The mean one.
Then fuck off and read it.
>Who does she end up with?
Only three chapters in.
Anon, thank you for making pick this up. I'm thorougly enjoying it.
Let's be real here, even with a terminal illness it is physically impossible to shed what looks like a 100lbs or so within a week.
It's the joke, though
People can destroy planets in mango. That shouldn' be bothering you that much...
>Only three chapters in.
It's a pretty typical shojo, so she's probably going to go for that blonde guy. Best boy will never win
Maybe they need a talented editor like myself.
I think I'll offer. I used to put out a chapter a day of My Barbaric Girlfriend before I got sick of that series.
>blonde guy winning
He's a dick, was the only one who refused to coach her for soccer, yet was the one who gave her 1-on-1 lessons. He's going to win.
Since he was first probably.
>Best boy will never win
I don't know which boy you're referring to but, I agree, it isn't Nana.
Hopefully her brother gets involved in the story at some point though.
She's black hair, it gives the blondefags an advantage. Shoujos often do contrasting hair colour for their OTP. Not always though.
Best boy is the cat rescuer, but I think her hooking up with Nana would be funnier.
Also he reminds her of that dead character she liked and started blushing like mad when she turned pretty.
I wish he wasn't going to win.
Oh jesus, the first chapter was great, and that ending
That's not Silver Diamond, is it?
Wasted potential. Her getting injured is what made the manga great though.
Best boy is senpai.
I wanted to read it but 36 volumes are a lot.
Otomen is full of Glass Mask references.
Otoman confirmed for bro.
Good choice; he's pretty great. I'm liking the first year tsundere myself but him winning would be odd.
One of my favorites. I hope the author doesn't die before finishing it.
Kamisama Hajimemashita - decent but damn it are are updates slow.
Kurobara Alice - dream fucking
Heart no Kuni no Alice - It's decent enough, though I wanted her to get with Peter.
OBORERU KNIFE - if you don't mind implications
Parfait Tic - there's a huge art jump in this one but all it does is make me rage lately. JESUS IT MAKES ME RAGE
I found 3D Kanojo pretty good.
She's releasing a volume or so a year so she's still hanging in there.
The tsundere is a cutie too and second best boy. I loved how he was crying watching this chick flicks...
Luckily there is no worst boy in this mango.
That shit was airing on TV in Yurop during the 80's. How come it is yet not finished ?
I didn't think anyone other than trolls/shitposters believed Kuroko wasn't shonen.
There's a lot of material for it. At least it's realistic in the sense that it takes forever for Maya to get noticed as an actress, rather than having only one role and becoming instantly famous.
I think best boy is gay. that's why he doesn't give a crap about MC looking cute or not. He just wants to be bro. That's why he's not even going to lose since he has yet to enter the competition.
>Luckily there is no worst boy in this mango.
I'm not saying he's bad but Nana is my least favourite.
>I loved how he was crying watching this chick flicks...
The fact he attempted to deny it afterwards was great. I hope he wins a side girl or something.
>I think best boy is gay.
I did wonder if one of them would turn out gay or not, but he certainly doesn't want to go after her, agreed. He could just be really calm but that does seem unlikely. So who will he win?
Ayumi is a very likable rival too. At first you'd expect her to be the typical oujo, laughing through her curls but she stands up for Maya and has shit loads of respect for her. Best girl.
This guy looks like an older and more bishounen Kuroko.
I love Ayumi too. I thought she was going to be a bitch, so I was pleasantly surprised when she ended up being as great as she was.
I like them both so much, so I don't know who to root for to get the Crimson Goddess role. I know Maya will have to get it, but I can't help but also root for Ayumi.
Where is this from?
This is just gender roles at work and appealing to the demographic. Boys are taught to try to "earn" their love interest while girls try to change the bad boy. When was the last time you saw a male MC try to remove the tsundere bitchiness from a love interest? He usually just ends up falling for her because she shows a cute or vulnerable side.
Swan, the best boy not only gets friend zoned the worst but one of their coaches even chimes in on how he's her knight and in love
They always go to the excuse of "but it was made for fujoshis, so it isn't a real shounen title despite it's running on a shounen magazine"
Tsunderes a shit anyway
I guess every shounen with fujo fans is really a shoujo!
They shitpost about it because of the large male cast. I honestly don't find anything gay about it, with the exception of like Takao's character song and the way he messes around with Green.
If we go by a/ standards, Slam Dunk and Gintama are also fujoshit
>Implying Kuroko ain't fujoshit
So Prince of Tennis isn't fujoshit as well, right?
Keep showing how new you are, outsider.
