Why even read manga? It's a pain in the ass waiting for scantlations that may not even ever come unless you read exclusively popular stuff. That is just too frustrating. Wy put yourself through that? With anime almost everything airing is subbed in less than 24 hours.
And LNs are 100 times worse. Not only are odds most shit won't even get translated but even if they are after translating they read like a fanfic written by a teenager. Making shit sound good in English just makes translations too inaccurate and if the translations are too accurate they read like shit. Japanese and English aren't compatible for this kind of shit.
Manga and LNs are a never ending source of bad experiences and frustrations. The best thing to do is to not bother because you'll be happier in the end.
Cool blog, where to do I subscribe?
There is a really obvious solution to your troubles, OP.
Because regardless, I'll still be able to see all kinds of shit. Anime is mostly a joke.
>waiting for scanlations
>waiting for translations
>not reading in Japanese
I watch more anime than I read manga, but this argument is just retarded.
>hurr durr manga is inconvenient might as well not read it at all
Please do not use Watashi like that.
It's an insult towards here character.
But this is not a blog post.
>boo hoo muh non-existent scanlations
>boo hoo muh non-existent LN translations
Just learn Japanese you lazy bastard.
Why even watch anime? 95/100 times the anime won't even adapt 1/4 of the source material, let alone 1/2 and you will never see what happens next or it will get BONED.
Because I can read japanese.
... and I haven't made a release since fucking 1012. Why does real life have to catch up to you?
>They read like a fanfic written by a teenager
that's already the case in the original Japanese, if you get shitty source material it's hard to turn it into rhetoric art.
What, and buying from Japan too? Or do legitimately most things get at least scanned?
Uh yeah, it is.
The OP is attentionwhoring by saying that he thinks people who read manga and light novels are dumb for doing so.
It's basically "I don't like it so nobody else should either"
>Or do legitimately most things get at least scanned?
As long as they're currently serialized, you'll be able to find scans for most stuff, as long as said stuff hasn't been already deleted from the places they were uploaded to.
>and I haven't made a release since fucking 1012
That must have sucked. Getting shit from Japan in the middle ages must have been next to impossible.
>you'll be able to find scans for most stuff
There's tons of obscure shit that never gets scanned though.
Of course, but that's what makes it obscure shit.
>waiting for scanlations
How 'bout learning moon?
A fair point.
I agree with LN, furthermore it seems most of them are worst than generic harem.
Distribution must have been even worse.
Image hand copying every panel.
>Someone provides an opinion
>lel it must be a blug
I only read completed manga with complete scanlations. That way I don't get fucked over by scanlators going on holiday.
> almost everything airing is subbed
You don't know how deep anime is.
