Aku no Hana is really good.
Why didn't you tell me?
I though we were friends.
>>
Did I not? Sorry man, I could've sworn I said so when it was airing.
>>
it gets super boring after the incident
>>

It most likely just got drowned out.
>>
Where does the anime end?
>>
Why does everyone hate the art?
>>
>>100772722
Because it kills the "Nakamura unf unf".
>>
>>100772579
This. Fucking this. Eloquently put, sir.

It starts off all fun and stylized. I didn't even mind the rotoscoping, since it added to the surreal nature of the show. Then nothing happens for a long time. It's like a hooker that starts off with an exciting handjob, then starts crying about her daddy issues, then leaves.

That calm before the tempest is necessary to the development of the plot. The bad thing is we'll probably never see the shitstorm and fun unleashed immediately after that boring calm.
>>
>>100772579
I'm at episode 4 and it is still super interesting. I hope I'm past the "incident".
>>
It gets boring and not much happens after "that", Boku wa Mari no Naka is much more exciting.
>>
I'm not even sure why we are being so vague. It's not a huge spoiler to say "after betamax and chubs go to the school at night." That's the event.
>>
>>100773787
To be fair the classroom scene was the best thing I've seen last year.
Had to pick my brains out of the ceiling after it was done.
>>
>>100772464
Well you though'ed wrong, nigga.

Aku no Hana is for edgy spineless teens which think they are better than everyone else which is cause of their suffering and "problems". Crap.

Oyasumi Punpun is a story about edgy teen who blames every problem on others and never takes responsibility. The author pokes fun at this concept (while still making it decent on the basic drama level) and how this particular set of mind leads to doom of such people. Punpun and his narrow and "blind" attitude towards world is cause of practically 90% of his problems. Pretty darn good.

How do you people still manage to watch anime with total beta MCs goes beyond me.
>>
>>100774547
Except that's not what Aku no Hana is about at all.
Read the manga.
>>
>>100774621
Yeah, it's much better to watch action shonenshit for children.
>>
>>100774547
You're just too dumb to get it. Don't worry.
>>
>>100774354
Really? Why? I had no idea why Betamax was even doing all that.
I honestly want to know why it seemed awesome to you.
>>
Why those daily Aku no Hana threads?
>>
>>100775912
That was when Nakamura finally got him to cross the line and make him start being a real pervert like herself.
>>
>>100777522
Yeah, I get that much. Why did he want to trash the school? Why did he want to be hentai?
He doesn't seem to want to impress Nakamura, and he doesn't hate the school. You could make a case for him feeling guilty, but that doesn't make sense when his guilt is later resolved.
>>
>>100777707
It's the ~symbolism, anon. Kasuga going around Nakamura and Nakamura going around herself. Little planet big planet and all that.
>>
>>100777707
>Why did he want to trash the school?
It's not about the school, it's about breaking the social norms and doing something "evil".
>Why did he want to be hentai?
It's about freeing yourself from the character the world has forced you to be. Releasing your true self through breaking with what society considers good.
>He doesn't seem to want to impress Nakamura,
No. But as you'll see later, with Nakamura and her crazy search for meaning in life, he feels life's worthy living because it's intense and not only because it's what everybody has told him to do.
>and he doesn't hate the school.
Not in particular, but the school is the main place where you develop your social skills and your superego and where you learn to be obedient, feel guilty about shit and accept the world as it is even if the popular ones treat you like a retard.
>You could make a case for him feeling guilty, but that doesn't make sense when his guilt is later resolved.
Nakamura uses his guilt (more than his fear of being discovered) to force him to make a contract with her. At this point she doesn't need to force him anymore since she finally has helped him break his barriers and embrace his perversion. From that point Nakamura doesn't need to manipulate him anymore to make him become what he wants to be. The bad thing is that he becomes too attached to her because of this.

needs unf unf in your lives
>>
It's shit and only pseudo intellectual hipsters like it
>>
>>100779059
You must be really dumb to consider AnH tries to be intellectual.
>>
>>100772883
that's because everything that is fun happens in the second part which will never get rotoscoped since Kasuga becomes Nakamura befor going down in flames.
