Y'know all these BAD ENDS about the world blowing up or Ideon destroying half the galaxy don't seem so bad in the WH40k universe
>>
Does this sort of thing happen often in the 40k-verse?
>>
Billions die every day, its a place of lulz.
>>
FOR THE EMPEROR!
>>
40k animu please. I need some quality animated kroot-chan to fap to.
>>
>>10076153

they destroyed an entire star system, 8-10 billion people, because the suspected and chaos spy MIGHT be in the area
>>
>>10076216
comparatively, the average hive world has around 30 billion people in it
>>
bleh, would never happen, the 40K storyline has been stuck in stasis for nearly 20 years now, nothing new is happening.
>>
>>10076153
No, but it'd put alot of people out of their misery.
>>
>>10076216
40k is fucking awesome. Where do I sign up?
>>
>>10076228
that's why we need to sink Games Workshop

so we can have a conclusion to everything
>>
>>10076216
It's not that incredibly extreme. Declaring an Exterminatus is only reserved in the incredibly extreme cases where the entire planet is so incredibly screwed that redemption is all but impossible. Generally the Inquisition will send out for whatever they can find. Imperial Guard get sent out for rebellions, Witch Hunters for particularly nasty heresies, and you've got Daemonhunters reserved for the real big'uns.
>>
best fictional universe ever. EVER.

I would kill for a high-quality 40k animu.
>>
>>10076234
Try /tg/.
>>
>>10076132

am I the only one that noticed the retarded compass... IN SPACE!?
>>
>>10076340
the Imperium has press-ganged crew working the ship. Battlefleet Gothic is set on a 2d tabletop. So a compass in space is perfectly natural
>>
>>10076271
I will get right on it.
>>
>>10076252
where do the marines go?

backup for the Impy Guard.
>>
>>10076396
A very good start is to play the dawn of war games on the pc. it gives a summery of the story and you get a feel of the races

oh and necrons ARE FUCKING BROKEN.
>>
>>10076428
Marines are rare and don't follow the laws of the Imperium to the book. Like listening to Inquisitors.

In any case, Daemonhunters are marines as well. They're just better.
>>
>>10076469
Necrons will always be FUCKING BROKEN. They were FUCKING BROKEN when they were first released, they were FUCKING BROKEN when they were re-released for 3rd and 4th edition, and they're FUCKING BROKEN in every version of Dawn of War

OY, DIS BOY KNOW HOW TO COOK!
>>
>>10076340

Well our galaxy is essentially a disk. On a galactic scale you could have compass directions.
>>
>>10076132
>>Ideon destroying half the galaxy

Ideon destroyed the universe, really. Yeah I saw the actual show and it's ambiguous, but the Buff Clan and Humans were said to be the only intelligent life alive left *anywhere* so it's a good conclusion Ideon killed the universe.

But yeah 40K is pretty hax. The only thing we've got up on them is TTGL.

I asked /tg/ to stat it and they sage bombed me, so I guess they had a bad experience...?
>>
>>10076532
they were too busy thinking how it would fare against a Neutronium Golem
>>
>>10076543

I just got a massive erection thinking about that. fuck that would be awesome
>>
>>10076517

There is one of these for TTGL but, I don't have it.
>>
How do I get the feel of the universe?

After dumping 500 dollars and realising that I'm not enjoying it at all, I stopped. I even bought the huge rule book and the space wolf codex = /
>>
>>10077170
Read the books.
>>
>>10077170

Well your problem was buying the stuff first.
