I am now convinced this is the best shounen anime ever.
Good for you.
Is anyone else getting sick of the narrator.
Is anyone else getting sick of the narrator?
thanks someone mentioned it, the last 3-4 episodes were 70% the narrator explaining what is happening and what they are feeling
The narration is good
So we're finally to this part?
Drop it cause he's here to stay.
Could it be better if wakamoto was the narrator?
Only narrator i ever disliked was the Akagi one.
So far I'm fucking loving this arc. I hope they do an anime-original ending.
>Narrator explains all the important details and inner workings of the characters to flesh out the situation
>But narrator does not explain why Pitou was crying in the anime, only in the manga
>Cue hundreds of retards asking why Pitou was crying after the last episode
This is why the narrator is necessary.
inb4 you find out about the 3 year hiatus
I want to protect that smile.
>I hope they do an anime-original ending.
Why? The story will end at the point the manga is at now, that's really a perfect ending for the series.
It shouldn't be this bad once everyone goes off to do their own things.
It just that no one really says a whole lot during the initial invasion.
When is the fight with Netero probably going to happen? I'll try watching the anime for that.
This picture gives me a Netorare feeling.
it's not just good, its outstanding.
Should I read the mango or watch anime? OR watch anime then mango?
So far the anime's A LOT better than the manga.
thanks, I watch after I finish the sopranos
Get it? Get it?
you can understand the emotions in the manga better,in the event that finish this arc I cry like a sassy girl no mather how many times I read it.
I got the feeling that on the anime it will not have the same impact.
but the action and the "design" is better on the anime, clearly because the manga was just a manuscript using a rolerpen
I came to that conclusion during the York Shin Arc (best shonen arc until Chimera Ant, at minimum, tied with it). The fact that it then follows it up with the Chimera and Election Arcs just solidified it. Past York Shin the series just became better and better. Even great shonen like Kenshin are lucky to get even one god-tier arc. Hunter x Hunter has three. Its plotting and characterization are also something else; Hunter x Hunter is the only battle shonen I know of that can pull off a great arc without the inclusion of a single real fight scene (Zoldyck and Election). Never thought I'd ever again enjoy following a shonen, and this is the first time I have since One Piece was at is peak with the CP9.
I just love so many God damn characters in this anime/manga. I will admit, the 2011 version was pretty bad at first, but when it fixed itself, it REALLY fixed itself.
Whatever you do, read the manga at one point. You'll be missing a lot of stuff if you don't do it.
pitou is a dude tho
You sayin' I like dudes?
The only female in an ant colony is the queen. The workers are either males or asexual. Genetically speaking, ants like Pitou or Zazan got their feminin looks from human genes. But that is all.
At best they are transexual.
Oh boy, here we go again.
What's wrong with you?
Actually 99% of an ant colony is composed of sterile females, every 1000 ants or so a male is born that goes off to mate with a fertile female.
At most chimera ants are like angels, they're genderless.
I've been following the Manga since it premiered in shonen jump when I was a little shit and I find that the Manga, like most in comparison to their anime counterparts , was a far more rich and rewarding experience. By skipping showing God's beginnings and his role model/father figuire relationship with kaito it doesn't hurt nearly as bad when all this ant shit goes down. but the Manga also looked like shit in a lot of points I was a kid when I read it so I never really made notice and was just engulfed by the story but looking back now it's total shit, but I would recommend the Manga to anyone. So much shit wasn't expressed as well as it should have been in anime like seeing shit like hisokas bloodlusting facial expressions and pitou poking at pokkles brain
tl;dr Manga looks like a shit but you should read it if you like the anime
The fuck man
I am, I only tolerated it to finish reading the ant arc. I don't where togashi got this influence from after the hiatus. Not even silver age comic writers use this much narration
Togashi is such a fucking good writer. Too bad he's also too fucking lazy
Dem powerlevels man. For me, the concept of Nen is better than any other concept of powerlevels in any other manga
The fact that everyone can learn it is cool also
no "muh choosen one" bullshit.
For some reason this moment when he grabbed the pipe filled me intense happiness.
I was so pumped.
Will they show Gon's sick hand?
I like all the side characters in this arc so much. Knuckle and Morel especially.
>not being hyped for Ikalgo slapping some shit
Best royal guard
are they still fighting that Cell look-a-like guy?
yes but he's become a fucking pussy
I just wanna see Hyakushiki Kannon animated already. I hope it doesn't look like crap with no animation budget.
Took you long enough.
More manga chapters when
This manga is a convoluted piece of shit aimed at edgy 12 year-olds that think the main character is deep and interesting.
The writer doesn't know where he is going with the story half the time. Enjoys walls of text on a medium where drawings are supposed to explain things.
Even the writer hates it because he never actually wants to work on it causing constant hiatus.
> The Vagrant Soldier Ares anime never
Then there is Ashita no Joe. Hunter x Hunter is fine, but I sure would like muh "Berserk for kids" in anime form. Or licensed, I want to buy the damn manwha.
I wish Togashi could just write for the anime instead.
Best shounen anime ever is To Love-Ru and Gintama
Some would even argue Ichigo 100% or Kochikame but I was never a fan of those
HxH is best shounen BATTLE anime
get ready for some shoot respect.
I should read that again.
Does this faggot actually do anything or does he get jobbed. As an anime only faggot he has come off as a bitch thus far and has lessened the built up imposing feeling that the guards had.
Also why didn't netero bring killua's dad as well? Is it just cause or was he doing something else or what.
Killuas dad kills cheetu
Wait, seriously? People didn't understand it?
That was the first time the King ever, EVER showed any sort of gratitude or reliance. He told Pitou he was counting on them. Receiving dependence from your superior, especially in the form of the only one you live to serve, is the greatest joy they could ever hope to receive, coupled with the fear and desperation that accompanies not wanting to fail that person that just put their faith in you for the first time, the person who you you respect and cherish more than anything else.
How did people not understand that?
They claimed she was crying because she felt sorry for komugi and the king being so selfless.
>each episode covers less than a minute
You're watching the wrong subs then. What I watched was 100% accurate to the anime.
he's unable to defeat the king and results to using a nuclear bomb fuck him.
I think you responded to the wrong post.
He's gonna ruse almost everyone except the King. Also he's not a faggot, he is FABULOUS
> run out their budget
> can't make much animation
> use a narrator
Then you need to read it again, I didnt even watch the episode yet im just parroting what was said in another thread.
>I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about
>be faithful to the manga
he's pretty much a suicide bomber and he still was unable to kill the king
>Americans can't enjoy something if its not insanely fast paced with explosions every 5 seconds
The King is the only one of the four big CA's that has any true humanity. Each Guard has their own shade of humanity but their most obvious feature is their devotion. They're not exactly 3-dimensional characters, unlike the King.
It's funny, since HxH '11 has been more faithful to the manga than just about any other adaption. There are literal panel to frame comparisons.
>Does this faggot actually do anything
Nigger, he's the best character in this arc. After Netero, that is.
And I couldn't be more satisfied. I was utterly disgusted with how they handled Kaito though, made it seem like he wasn't very important to Gon. Shit like this ALWAYS happen when they deviate from the original source.
I really enjoyed the fight scenes in ares, anyone know if its a popular series in korea?
It had a rocky start but it's good now. I was disappointed with it until Greed Island.
I haven't seen the latest episode, but I'm putting it all off till we get past narration mania. Though, I've been left with re-watching the old Greed Island OVA. My god it's so poorly done it's hilarious.
which hunter would you fuck
All of them.
Not for Gon's character in particular. The hunter exam and Greed island both have stressed that he really wants to find his pappy. He never will.
But he did
I see no reason aside from Togashi's scribbles as to why people can't just read the manga. It makes everything better when watching and the spoilers sting less.
I started Hunter X Hunter for the first time yesterday. I like it so far but only on episode 5 of the 1999 version(I like to start from the beginning of a series)
I admit I didn't really think of him in any way until this episode. When he covered his eye up because he merely wanted to challenge himself more, I was pumped. And then when he used his ability to send Morel's pipe back to him, I couldn't help but raise my fist to the guy when watching.
>He never will.
Not your blog.
Beginning would be the manga.
Why does it need to go any farther than this?
Dark Continent? Kurapika's resolution? Not every arc is about Gon. The Yorkshin arc was more about Kurapika than it was about Gon, so it feels very underwhelming for his conflict with the troupe to not be resolved. Loose ends and whatnot.
He got his eyes, who cares anymore. Faggot doesnt even answer his phone.
Kurapika is really as resolved as he's going to get. The Troupe seems to have all but forgotten him and he's not really in any position to go after them. They're essentially at a stalemate. There's no tension there to be resolved anymore.
He needs a break. For once he's not in his tribal clothes and not in drag either. Kurapika... had a hard life.
>I hope they do an anime-original ending
like claymoire and soul eater? jesus god no
>read hunter x hunter
>literally forget that the whole manga existed
I have no idea what it is about at this point
>watching the inferior 1999 version
I like to start from the beginning of a series.
So the manga.
I prefer anime.
Kid wants to find dad.
That's about it.
Just drop 99 version, and move on to 2011. It's better animated, and it's way past the point where 99 dropped off.
No anon. I think it was settled that everyone is 50/50 on it. 99 for atmosphere, Kurapika, filler and best music, 99 for quality, staying true to the source, and glorious Killua. Personally, I'd rather re-watch 99 as I have done before. But there are many others who'd enjoy 2011 just the same.
>99 for quality
Whoops, meant 2011.
Naw I think I'll continue to watch and enjoy it.
The VA in Pouf's scene was absolutely fantastic, and they couldn't have done the Killua scene better. I can't see how anyone would dislike this.
The narrator is amazing.
You want to fight about it?
What did you say?
I long for Kaiji's narrator replacing him
This. Gon idolized Kaito since he was a kid, his respect for him only grew when they met again. The bond between Kaito and Gon is far stronger than the anime showed
But they're fighting kaiji's narrator
2011 does start at the beginning. The is no reason to watch the 99 version unless you like the relatively poor animation style over the new one. That's it.
You're literally responding to bait. The fact that you can't even tell worries me.
though there is this much narration on Frank Miller's ROTDN, it's the only way to describe the flow of emotions during actions taking fraction of a second
so Shoot has some mental problems and gets off on being an amputee? Is he a masochist?
Always assume bait, but it took me seconds to type that, so on the off chance he really doesn't know, why not?
Can someone tell me what episode the Ant arc starts?
Because he's just going to respond with >>100778841
Waste of time.
Too bad there'll never be more source material for it
Hisoka, shame I'm not a shota.
Nah 10 years from now im sure we'll have at least half an arc.
Not my precious 2 seconds that would have otherwise been spent browsing the same topic, what will I do without them?
I haven't watched Hunter X Hunter simply because I don't want shotas in my shounens.
What's your problem?
God im so glad they stopped using that.
Why killua's younger brothers dress like girls? Don't get me wrong I like it but I also want to know why.
btw how long was the hiatus after this scene in the manga?
Did I hit a nerve or something? Christ.
because Silva absorbed all of the family's masculinity with his Nen
>I am now convinced this is the best shounen anime ever.
It's still shounen shit
Oh god, I almost don't miss this
I don't know, the anime looks nice enough, but art in the manga is horrendous beyond comparison and there's not a single character design I found visually appealing, with the protagonist being the second-worst offender (the worst being Killua)
I guess the plot is good-ish
Because Kikyo (the mother) is fucking crazy.
The pacing of the latest episodes(especially 113) have been terrible.
I mean, they were reusing 25 seconds footage just as that footage ended. Holy fucking shit, Madhouse. What happened to your budget?
>inferior 1999 version
You're mother is shounen shit
What? No, he doesn't.
>not liking Killua designs
what the fuck dude. I understand if some people don't really like Gon, but Killua is great
SICK BURN BRO
Stop lying, you autist
How many episodes left until the end of this arc?
Fucken wrekt kid
they want you to suffer like manga readers did
Will Nozomu Sasaki voice Ging?
But I've already read the manga. The anime's pacing is SLOWER than the manga. Unless you're saying they're trying to simulate Togashi's hiatuses over the arc.
>Rikiya Koyama as Ging Freecss
the ride never ends
Not sure, but the whole series will definitely be finished by june.
To Love-Ru? Best?
>There is hardly any porn of them at all
I remember reading this arc and thinking togashi was out of ideas and made a generic arc Jojo wannabe with dragon ball z characters, what I thought is still true but the execution in the anime is pretty well done.
To love Ru? Are you a serious?
its on my top 10 but I wouldn't call it the best, still, pretty enjoyable .
Yeah OP, that scene was pretty awesome.
I leave now, because I'm sure /a/ can't resist spoiling things.
> Implying you can leave 4chan
But yeah, anyone who spoils shit for other people should get a cactus shoved up their ass.
>being this wrong
Can't wait for this scene in the anime.
>implying Togashi will continue the anime and go past the manga
>being THIS wrong
So why was she crying? im an autist and didint quite get it
She was so honored that the King gave her a task so dear to him. Basically, her greatest desire was fulfilled.
Thats not how real ants work, 0/10 see me after class.
>Ant society is divided into several castes, including workers, soldiers, drones and queens. Workers and soldiers are flightless females that take care of the colony. Drones, which develop from unfertilized eggs, are winged males born with the sole purpose of procreation. Breeding females can also fly — they become queens after mating, breaking off their wings and starting a new colony (or joining a multi-queen colony).
damn, if only one piece had deaths and dismemberments..
Of course. TLR did make its run once in WSJ and is infinitely better than whatever shonen manga you turbonerds masturbate to.
I think it was a joke about pic related.
I can't wait for this to happen.
I was being 60% serious with having used a Hijikata image, actually.
Great, now go back to your cave. Narutard.
>mfw I own a HxH calender
>shotas all year long
Holy shit do these threads just not die?
Why is Netero so fucking based?
>I don't want shotas in my shounen
That reduces your options significantly.
That's why there's Hatsukoi Limited, Ichigo 100%, Kochikame, Bakuman, To Love-Ru, Gintama, and other shonen manga without shotas as a focal thing. Wasn't that one Fukumoto manga published in Shonen Sunday/Magazine?
Blame Togashi for choosing this type of lazy story telling instead of showing us.
When I saw that dragon they jumped off of, I was like, "Damn, his friend has a fucking dragon, holy shit!"
Then I see a spirit dragon, "Wow, this guy must be bad ass!"
Then I see Zeno, "OOOHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
God this anime is fucking awesome.
Might be as good as my favorite anime.
No. I rather like this type of storytelling.
he literally revives the king with youpi's help
bought the last mission ost and uploaded it yesterday, but not many people seemed to be interested. Just head over to nyaa.
Hopefully they start using some of the new tracks really soon. As much as I love Kingdom of Predators and Legend of the Martial Artist, they're massively overusing it.
wtf? you know there is filler in 99 right?
Is there a link?
It's like you didn't even read the entire post.
>not many people seemed to be interested
Perhaps no one simply knew about it? Though, I'm sure it'll be uninspired and generic. Shonen movies tend to not have all that great OSTs most of the time.
could be it, but I'm not sure. Still you're right on the uninspired part. Only a handful of tracks are worth listening, still it'll be a good addition to the 3 or so tracks used right now in the series.
how many episodes till this?
6 or 7.
He needs one hell of a barber.
I don't check the news about HxH's manga for months now. Does it have any sign of coming back?
or a samurai.
As someone who hasn't read the manga yet, I've been constantly wondering why Gon is SO GODDAM PISSED about Kite. I mean obviously he would be mad but it seemed way too extreme. Definitely going to read the manga soon so I actually understand the main characters fucking emotions
Nice. I'll keep pretending that it ended right before they climbed the fucking tree to the other world then.
The current anime skipped the introduction in the first few episodes (we assumed it was going to be shown when Kite was shown), watch the 199X anime for it, it's literally right at the beginning so you don't have to search too hrd.
She isn't a hunter though.
>The anime's pacing is SLOWER than the manga
>the last couple episodes have been 1episode:3-5chapters ratio
>Gon confronts Pitou and the anime announces it's going on indefinite hiatus
oh wow thanks, I can finish it before this arc ends
I can only imagine the horrors of waiting months for 1/3 of that episode.
Essentially the point is, Kite was the one who made Gon want to become a Hunter, by telling him things about his dad. And Gon, well...he has a very skewed view on morality.
why in the name of all that is holy would they omit something so important from, what will very likely be, the last thing anyone gets out of Hunter x Hunter
If I had to guess, they could throw it in there just before Gon goes Superman-mode, while he's deep in thought, blaming himself and remembering good memories of Kite (thus increasing his feeling of loss, and perhaps the impact on the viewer).
But that's a wild guess, after all.
That'd kill the "shit's going down" mood.
I dunno, you can do a brief emotional turmoil flashback thing with the "happy memories" becoming grayscaled and shattering set to music getting slowly more and more intense from sadness.
That's Kaiji, not Akagi.
Pretty much how I feel, for the exact same reasons mentioned, though I actually prefer the music in 2011, and the art in 1999. The darker color palate fits the show more and I vastly prefer cel, over digital animation; too bad the former is a long dead art, as anime from the 90s has always appeared the most pleasing to me aesthetically. Music-wise, though, it's a win in 2011's favor, at least from Chimera Ant onward. Kingdom of Predators, Hegemony of the Food Chain, Legend of the Martial Artists, Understanding, Reason (Instrumental), and To Give a Marionette Life are all god-tier tracks from 2011. With the 1999 anime, only the main theme and daidan-en-no-tatakai (Hisoka vs Gon music) really stand out to me as being on that level.
>Legend of the Martial Artist
I don't care that they play it everytime there's an action scene, it's just so fucking good
so how many episodes till GON-SAN?
also how many episodes do you think we have left till inevitably catching up to the manga?
>Hegemony of the Food Chain
Holy shit that track pumps me up so much.
It's gay as fuck so it's not.
Boring art, plots, ideas, dialogue, tone, general aesthetics. Stop.
You forgot Rhapsody on the theme of Holst which plays like twice during the Genei Ryodan segment.
Why does Gon turns into this? I wasn't paying attention.
Because he used it all. It's nearly the same thing that happens with Netero at the end.
One Piece fags, everyone.
Nen condition/restriction system
In exchange for getting in the best possible state his body could ever be aging ++ years, he could never use Nen again( or even move)
more around 10, isn't there still around 30 chapters till we get there?
Is Kurapika the strongest? Even without his chain jail his ability is pretty insane.
He's mid-tier at best.
The strongest are Meruem and Netero (both of whom are dead by now).
Did he overreacted?
Regrettably, no. He's quite dangerous but in any head to head fight he'd be on the losing end, doubly so if it's not a Spider.
Final arc, and we'll have to wait until a new update for the manga.
He was using Zetsu. He was especially susceptible to Nen attacks.
It was bad timing and luck for him.
>Gon will never rape Pitou
why even live
Why must you have such impure thoughts?
I feel bad for him, nothing worse than become a baldy.
Pufu is an extremely fucked up individual, so no.
This is definitely a g-girl right?
Only if he have a feminine dick.
Sure, why not
Kalluto can be a girl in your mind, Anonymous.
Some faggots were saying that the hiatus was supposed to end in December 2013. What happened?
That's why. They most likely had no sources and were just talking out their asses based on their hopes and shit.
Togashi is a god.
I cant wait to see gons frustration when he has to wait.
2 more weeks till killua gets fucking told.
I love and hate Togashi. But shit man I can't wait for that scene.
Suffering continues. I love it.
Knuckle was almost unscathed in the chimaera ant arc. Surprisingly, he really was that strong.
More like he was just fortunate. If it weren't for Meleron there would have to be a completely different turn in stealth and attack.
Most of that was because he was hiding behind God's Accomplice. If he took a direct hit from Youpi, even with a 10K APR buffer, that would have been an instant kill.
The Royal Guards were fuck strong. And Gon 2HKO Pitou, and 1HKO Zombie Terpsichora which was even stronger after it came back to life.
Even when he showed himself, he can still manage to fight Youpi without taking hits. Though he was saved by Killua in the end. Gon-san is a different kind of beast altogether.
looks dudish to me.
The only way the Hunter Team stood a chance at defeating Yupi was for Knuckle to bankrupt him. The manga clearly shows Shoot and Morel doing almost no damage to him, and Knuckle's best punches only shove Yupi without pain. Killua's lightning was more disruptive than deadly. Knuckle avoided direct hits, but if he didn't bankrupt Yupi most likely the entire team would have been wiped out. Even if they had Ikalgo, Palm, Welfin and Bolster helping them out.
Gon-san actually reached the King's level, maybe even stronger. Gon's first kick threw her WAY up high. The King's tail bitchslap only bruised Pitou and he said he had the intention of killing her back then although we can't be sure if he was being serious.
There's killing her and then there's wanting her atoms destroyed. The King was probably using the absolute minimum force he thought would kill her.
think we'll ever get Dark Continent? IT'd be sad if the series ended here but at least it's not on a super cliffhanger
Weren't his punches weak because of his power? As in he doesn't do damage when he's trying to bankrupt an enemy?
do shounen typically last hundreds of episodes or something
if they are good, yes. if not, they are trimmed off quickly.
I....don't remember. I thought they still did damage but also added to it
They added however much aura he put into the punch onto the debt, but in return the punch dealt no physical damage. Or at least very very little. Knuckle explains it when he fights Gon. Also if an enemy has potclean and they hit Knuckle, the same applies to them and Knuckle doesn't take damage until the debt is payed off.
No such thing.
I'm glad you finally caught up, OP.
was not for killua yupi would have killed him
It was out of character for Gon to act like that though.
rage blinds you anon
Was Gon implying that Killua masturbates to him?
Dat character development. Watching Killua play good cop to Gon's bad cop was so surreal. Seeing everything Gon ended up seeing hardened him up from the innocent little kid he originally was, but Killua was already fucked up from the beginning, so his general response to being surrounded by friends instead of being forced to kill people on a regular basis was actually to become lighter and softer. By the end, Killua's the one sparing his enemies and babysitting his littler sister, while Gon is taking crippled, blind girls hostage.
I'm rereading Election arc. Shit's so fucking gold.
He was already heading in that direction by the time he crushed that armadillo chimera ant alive. Beginning of series Gon would never have done that. Kite commented on how worrying it was that he wouldn't kill someone if they had people they cared about, but by Pitou who had obviously moved on from that as well. As far as what he said to Killua, Gon had long started becoming more and more of an asshole to him as the arc went on.
Fuck you, no one cared about this anime until the poorly animated raid scene.
wrong again faggot if you watched the anime there was another female that went and started her own colony.
And along with her, there was also Hina.
Why is Knuckle so kind?
because he's gin's secret son.
Man I wish Gon-San raped Pitou. Like literally thrust his huge cock killing pitou in the process.
Knuckle says that he became that way by hanging around his mentor, Morel.
Being Knuckle is suffering
Now that I think about it, why didn't they make shoot join forces with meleoron instead of knuckle? With his ability, they can effectively remove Youpi from the game.
That's honestly exactly how it was in the manga, it'll pass.
I enjoyed the up until this arc. It's pacing is so bad, everything goes for twice as long as it should. Not to mention completely pointless shit like an entire episode on that drug lord's past.
>Hunter X Hunter
I liked the show when it was still called Yuyu Hakusho
Hakoware was so good on paper that it was a no brainer to team up knuckle and meleoron
Why does everybody love the Yorknew arc so much? I honestly didn't think it was that good when I watched the 99 series, I'd rather they just skipped it and went straight to the Greed Island arc.
That is SO not pointless, for retarded faggots like you we didnt get kaito on episode one, for fucks sake. It was filler, yes, but i think it was cute since Welfin and Ikalgo will fight each other, also Ikalgo remembers. (Zaikahal is Welfin's name)
Durr, im retarded, that is from the previous episode to Gyro's past episode. Nevertheless, Welfin goes with Bizef to Meteor City to find Gyro at the end of this arc.
Also these little things are a major things for me when it comes to like series, things you have to remember from way long ago, and when you realize, it feels cool.
Like the pink haired girl promise to Gon to watch the swans fly as the sun rises on her mountain when the expedition finishes. (Kaito bought her a fucking mountain to save the swans, haha)
Sorry for the long post.
Rate, Comment, Suscribe, etc.
York Shin did wonders for Kurapica's revenge-redemption character arc and introduced the Genei Ryodan.
I've never read Hunter x Hunter. I enjoyed YYH so much I was afraid of getting into it with the wrong expectations only to end up being disappointed. There's this whole "failing health" thing of the author as well, making me even more afraid to commit myself.
Im sorry but your opinion is hella wrong
True, but I don't know why it faffed about with Gon and Killua so much since they clearly weren't the main focus of the arc.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Omae ha mou
Shin de iru
Oh great, here come the HnKfags to shit up yet another thread.
>Not liking both HnK and HxH
Fucking chapters and chapters in a row of in universe speculah. The MCs try to foresee every possibility and the plan they ultimately come up with, while risky, was effective. And the same shit happens in Greed Island and Chimaera Ant, which I loved seeing. Killua got so close to understanding everything but couldn't foresee Komugi.
You have Shit taste.
Omae ha mou retarded de iru
Hunter X Hunter threads are immortal.
Funny how kids seem to love both the first FMA and HXH because of the "atmosphere" and because it's "darker".
J-just like the author, r-right anon?
Its not about wishing people death or spilling blood, or just seeking vengeance. Its about what the series makes you feel. Hunter x Hunter is not liked because its fucking dark, hell no. Its because it has very touching moments, and well developed characters, thats all.
he was fighting toe to toe with Uvogin, if he can keep the same fighting condition with anybody then he'd be at Ryodan level at least
Why do those people in the background have abnormally large heads?
Don't forget Nen, one of the best battle mechanic ever.
Kuropika is specifically anti-Ryodan though. Using his performance against them won't give you a very good idea of his general abilities.
Also mind games and very interesting plot lines happening at the same time.
I thought only the chain jail was anti-ryodan and that speed, nen prowess, emperor time and combat ability can be used on anyone.
that is not One Piec... oh nevermind the OP anime really is shit now
Yea I'm sure you enjoy filler dick being shoved down your mouth along with how the author drags everything on with shitty unfunny humor.
While i like 2011 best, 99 had the best opening of all time:
Also this one was GREAT too:
We can only speculate since the most weve seen of him fighting someone else with it was at the begining of York New with that one conjurer. But given that he can catch bullets with it Im sure he'd be just fine in any fight with someone who can move just as fast.
W-wait, I thought Hunter x Hunter took place in its own world?
It does. I just use the English locations and names. But York New is just New York anyway. I think the 99 anime even added Twin Towers. Don't know if it was in the manga or not. Think of their world as Not Earth.
man I think that second op might be one of my all time favs
So, as someone who enjoyed YYH (from the same author), will I enjoy HXH? And should I start with the old or the new anime? Or is it like with FMA that you need the first few episodes of the old anime since that part got left out in the new anime?
Read the manga, watch 1999 up to the end of the first OVA. Watch 2011. If you only do one of those, read the manga.
I think you'll love it.
thats actually a good question and since I had seen the '99 version and read the manga I didn't think about it when the new show aired. It might not be the worst idea
It proved that he can stand against a Ryodan combat-wise without using his trump card where Gon and Killua couldn't even last a few seconds at that point.
Shoot ability is to snatch anything if you do enough damage to it.
How are you going to hurt youpi. Hell, even surviving from him is a impossible task.
He only barely managed to maintain a defense with Emperor Time. Without Chain Jail he had no offensive abilities and Uvogin at half powered destroyed his arm.
That's hardly standing against him.
>The "real" supreme leader is still alive
How does this make you feel?
The Kim Jung-Ill-like dude? Dude is a meat puppet.
>dude is a meat puppet.
I think everyone will still be thinking of the main cast so it'll barely pass as relevant.
Unless somebody has deep grudge with Kim Jung Ill.
Now this I can fap to. Based Togashi.
That one female Chef from the Hunter exams.
I'd eat Sushi off of her naked body.
You mean specifically 'hunter' or any character? In the latter case Shizuku is my first choice, but if it's the former then probably Biscuit. At least I think she was a hunter, but I'm not sure.
Yes, a Gem/Jewel Hunter.
I love Togasi's girls. Except Keiko. They're all so marry-able. Shizuku might forget you though. I think she's actually retarded or something.
I actually enjoy the narration. It beats the cliche in shonens where they always announce what they did, why they did it, and how it works. Like that's not how it works in battle, so it's better for a 3rd party narrator to explain things. Makes it more realistic
Wrong. For the last fucking time there's only one female ant in the colony at a time. The queen. When the old one was dying, the new queen was born. All your ant waifus have gigantic raging cocks. Get over it.
But they dont. They take the form based off what the Queen consumed. Zazan is a prime example since she has insect male attributes. She can breed with any female, but she cant be impregnated.
Based Togashi. No one ever reveals their attacks or explains them unless its required like Chrollo's. Gon is just a kid and calls his attacks, everyone calls him out on it.
Nah man, the narrator is great.
