Maybe this was too deep for me or some other bullshit you'll use as an excuse, but this "series" a shit.
I don't think anyone who liked 5CM/S would really describe it as "deep." It's more of a poetic reflection on life. Either you like it or you don't, but it's not really deep.
>poetic reflection on life
So it's gay.
You have to have had a girlfriend at least once in your life to understand, OP. Its only natural you wouldn't like it.
I'm sorry you went in and expected a Hollywood action flick. Was it the title that deceived you?
I like the ending mainly because of the song.
>Maybe this was too deep for me or some other bullshit you'll use as an excuse
Holy shit, that passive aggression. Go back to >>>/cgl/
I fell asleep three times trying this shit like three times. The first part was so fucking boring and this is coming from someone who thoroughly enjoyed hyouka. The second part was the best, but still average, and the finale was unsatisfying and shit.
5/10 pretty animation, but that's pretty much it
Under genre it said it was a tragedy, so I expected it to be more sad.
I liked it, just not as much as I feel I should have.
A lot of people on here didn't like it because they've never been in a situation where a girl liked them back. I had just gone through something like this when I watched it a few years back, so it really struck a chord with me
ITSUDEMO SAGASHITE IRU YO
WHa texactly is deep about this movie? The whole appeal of the story is that it's something people with failed relationship could relate too.
It's like that anime show with the autist chick (Tomoko something) except for normal people.
It's a purely self-insert story OP. If you self-insert with the MC, then you'll enjoy it. If you find it hard to sympathize with his position, then it's understandable why you wouldn't enjoy it.
It's simplistic, shallow and ridiculous.
Really really cheesy. In the worst way possible, by trying not or pretending not to be but because of it ending up ridiculous.
I'm just naturally an asshole, so I needn't return to anywhere.
But holy shit, I didn't even know that was a board. It seems like solid shit.
>A lot of people on here didn't like it because they've never been in a situation where a girl liked them back
No, it's because instead of brooding over some lost relationship for years, the rest of us can move on. We relate more to the MC's love interest than MC.
>Really really cheesy. In the worst way possible
It definitely is. Especially when that song plays at the end. Holy shit
/cgl/ landwhale detected, go away. passive aggression is no way to start a thread
4/10 made me reply
>living the large part of your adolescence and early adult separated from the one you want to be with
>people drifting away from you while you remain stuck in the same place
>not a tragedy
Nah it wasn't deep, it was just boring shit.
Based tripfag confirms it
Being an asshole is one thing. Being passive aggressive is the mark of an insecure hambeast.
If you don't like stories about romance/unrequited love why the fuck did you watch it in the first place?
>I didn't even know that was a board.
I cannot comprehend how new you must be to not have heard of it.
>whining and brooding about failed relationships
I feel that if I keep responding your guys' opinion of me will just get lower and lower and as a result I'll just be sad and eat and be fat and cosplay Hetalia.
It's not a series....
While we're on the topic, has anyone here seen The Garden of Words?
The blu ray is only $20 off Amazon, is it worth a buy?
And it was so overblown it became comical.
Yeah it is sad but the way it was presented made the whole situation hilarious and you just couldn't empathize with the cast at all.
Too late, tumblrfag.
