ITT: Things we learned from anime.
It is a pleasure being cummed inside
...Actually last week I had a depressive phase for 2 days because I was reminded of that meme/phrase and realized I will never have a woman in my life to be happy about my semen inside her and hug me after orgasm in missionary position ;_;
Bullying is fun.
eating someone's poop means you truely love him/her
Santa is a little girl actually
It's okay if he's wearing a skirt
It's okay to rape a Santa.
hey OP, 2008 called, they want their faggot back
Are you saying you wouldn't?
it's called a clitoris
I was waiting for this thread.
When you are in the middle of a revolution, you have to shout.
This is the shit I see on my cousins facebook anime like pages.Kill yourself OP
forgot my picture
I cant have been the only one who have learned this?
Why can't they just use "stay dead". They'd sound a lot less retarded.
How can someone who writes such fucked stories know so little about drugs? Why do japs believe what the media tells them?
Azumanga taught me how to properly split my chopsticks
This is good to know
This quote makes perfect sense in context...
I've heard Japan is pretty anti-drug.
All of those crazy stories and little to no drug use involved, makes me wonder if I don't need to smoke to let my imagination run wild after all.
>...this is how it should be.
Ripping quotes out of context is retarded
why you cut the glorious 16:10 resolution?
You know what? It's probably for the best that they keep fearing drugs; junkie and 420blazeit tier jokes and stories are about as funny or imaginative as a fart "joke".
>It's probably for the best that they keep fearing drugs
Look at stories written shortly after the 2nd world war.
Ningen Shikaku in particular handles the drugs really well.
>inb4 "I have only seen the shitty and incomplete anime adaption"
I crop everything indiscriminately, have I sinned?
>500 thousand views
>This is the best fuck you and challenge accepted ever.
>Is this opening the next guiles theme? XD
>this makes me really happy XD
>my friend said the same thing i showed him thi video and im like u mad bro jajajajajajaja
>This is the definition of ''Challenge accepted''
>This is the definition of "Challenge Accepted"!
>Some one should play this during some kind of heartbreaking moment in anime O_O
>I think we can change that from "Challenge Accepted" to "Challenge Won / Results Epic!" XD
Somebody has to get down that video
>implying you can
It can never be helped. Never.
Normalfags upset me so much.
>the description shows the archived thread
>Leaving 4chan, ever
>Going to youtube comments of all places
I remember when I was a 13 year old idiot like that guy that's being quoted.
I'm glad I'm not like that anymore.
These people browse /a/.
I can actually do that. But only that and nothing more.
That natural talent always supercedes hard work and guts.
Oh right I don't watch shounenshit never mind.
>That realization that /a/ is probably better now than it's ever been for the past 8 years, and the only people posting like that now are joking
>tfw you'll never make video games
DayZ Standalone in a nutshell
And it's still shit.
Glorious Damedame wisdom.
>not Space Station 13
I knock shitters out clean and cold in a matter of seconds with this bad boy.
It was always shit. It was shit before there was even an /a/ board. At least anons did shit in the old days, now the biggest projects we have are /a/ sings or big charts
Why does nobody do anything anymore? What drove us to become cynical elitists who always believed we were above fun? Is it really better this way?
>many people it's an SnK joke
>Why does nobody do anything anymore?
Because while they were fun before with other Anons, they introduced newfags to the board, and now they participate as well. So you have a bunch of people who don't give a shit about board culture, have nothing to really offer, and just want to participate in social threads like that. No one wants to work with cancer.
I'm not that guy, but I can speak for a lot of boards when I say this.
When people group together and do things, retards wind up hearing about it. It's inevitable. If it's hidden within IRC channels and Skype, it will still find its way into a normalfag's ear. When they see how fun it is, they invite others to 4chan. Then we have more typical shit taste, /b/-tier posting, and whinefags infesting. If you tell them off, they go ot other boards until they feel accepted, and start shit with every board they were laughed out of. Which means a large influx of shitposting abound for all boards trying to keep them out.
>STOP BEING SO ELITIST GUYS!
We see an increase of those types only in recent years. Why? Because we typically would group together and do things years prior, so they keep hearing about it, coming here, and acting as if it's the most fun thing in the world while degrading the quality of the board.
The fact that you where ever like that is pathetic
Which is why boards that aren't completely shit hate something if it's popular. That way faggots will come here, leave, and tell everyone it's shit. I always thought of the entire elitist thing as something that protects boards.
Anime taught me that women are treasures.
/a/'s normal userbase will scare off newfags eventually, waifu, fanservice/fetishes, and moé are enough.
Popular anime just gets trolled more often, even if most of /a/ generally likes it. Going by that it'd be more accurate to say that /a/ hates all anime.
It is. Without elitism, you get /b/, /v/, and /co/. /v/ I would say tends to at least try to force idiots out of SOME threads, but the fact that they are so overwhelmed with retards trying to fight against elitism is why their board is tearing itself apart. /co/ CAUSED the MLP outbreak, and has a massive influx of Homeshits. /b/ is the epitome of "non-elitism".
Any board with a reputation as elitist and exclusive is almost invariably one of higher quality. If you allow shitheads to come in and be shitheads, then you have a board full of shitheads.
Keep that elitism.
Because /a/ hates their greatest creation
>/a/'s normal userbase will scare off newfags eventually
Not when the retards start to outnumber the native population.
>Every time I go out of /a/ every other board seems to hate us
>"THEY DIDN'T LIKE MY ANIME AND THEY'RE ALL MEAN ELITISTS WHO DON'T SPOONFEED ME!"
Is 4chan is general just utter shit with /a/ as a safe haven?
I thought hate was /a/'s greatest creation.
And then popular anime get hated on and normalfags leave, leaving /a/ to discuss the waifus in said popular anime.
/jp/ must be the best board then.
Not every board is like that, I think /g/ is pretty safe
That's really every board.
>I went to /tg/, but they laughed at my YGO build and told me to fuck off, they are a horrible board full of shit-eating elitists!
>I went to /mu/ but they said my music taste was horrible, they are a bunch of horrible shit-eating hipsters!
>I went to /vg/ and they said my playstyle was complete shit, they are all shit-eating tourneyfags!
>I went to /g/ and they said my tech was cheap and low-grade, they are a bunch of shit-eating nerds!
If every board was like /jp/, 4chan would be a fucking sanctuary.
To be honest I'd probably like /jp/ if I was into 2hu.
Sometimes you're obviously not going to like a board cause you don't know much of the topic. It's like when people say they hate /a/, yet don't watch any currently airing anime.
This is why I wonder why they call /a/ elitist.
This is no joke, my friend smoked only 7 pots and he fucking OD'd.
>And then popular anime get hated on and normalfags leave
Remember when Naruto threads used to be shat on, instead of being looked after, and carefully pruned by a mod?
The majority of the boards' only exposure to anime is whatever is on Toonami, because they don't actively watch airing anime. So when they come here wanting to discuss Naruto's anime, Bleach's anime, Cowboy Bebop, and GiTS, they get laughed out. Especially when they look for sites to stream from, and refuse to get an actually good media player or proper file types.
So since we actually enjoy our anime isntead of treating it like some little half-hearted hobby we do on the side, and they only slightly care about anime, coming to a board full of anime enthusiasts, they are confused when they are told to fuck off, rather than being accepted like it's Gaia forums.
It's a fine example of what happens when you let normals and tripfags have their way with a board.
They also don't stick around long enough to understand that, given /a/'s size, someone is guaranteed to hate whatever they like, and will not refrain from voicing their hate.
wow this is just bad, this and shitty kpop threads.
I don't really browse /mu/, I'm mostly going on what I've heard other anons say about them.
That's a tripfag in the OP. They're naturally attention whores.
holy shit what
wow this thread got off topic fast.
I still remember the thread.
It was nothing but teenagers with trips posting pics of themselves. It was like I was in 2009 /b/.
I can't let go of things very easily.
Well that was the heart of the /board/ hates /board subject/ joke, which got taken seriously by the idiots who infest the boards without actually having lurked the board in question.
No, this is not the case. The /mu/ userbase is horrendous now. It really, really went downhill last year.
Sharethreads are their only redeeming quality.
Tell your friend to get a better dealer. Or tell him to find a better doctor.
/mu/ worst board confirmed.
/mu/ is a great board to discuss pretty much anything but music.
>/mu/ is a great board to discuss pretty much anything so long as it pertains to the circlejerk of attentionwhores
There we go, all fixed.
don't remind me
All of 0079's best moments were bitch slaps.
Shit's awful now, at least the stupidity was tame and added flavor. Now it just consumes the whole place into a hellhole of trying too hard, tumblrfags, and off topic bullshit like this thread so we should stop
I want to give money to the guy who made this.
That even if you murder a million people. Someone still loves you.
>/mu/ is a great board to discuss pretty much anything but music.
You should have been here for the Jaden Smith thread.
Ugh. Don't remind me.
>like this thread so we should stop
I know, it's just where else are we going to bitch and complain about the state 4chan is in and how mods misbehave?
Reminds me of this.
>Then I'll just keep killing you until you die!
>Implying that one-liner isn't the best in the series
But his variation in the original anime with Bradley was slightly better
>King Bradley, just how many times do I have to kill you... (cue fire everywhere) Until you die?
/q/ a shit
I read it but I didn't learn it. For me life is about making other people have fun whereas I suffer.
At this point it would probably be easier to celebrate those rare moments when mods decide to stop being complete faggots and actually do their fucking job.
And all the comments are all from retards that don't even go on /a/.
If a thread needs a mod to baby sit it in order to simply exist, something is certainty wrong.
What is that thing in that picture? Ugh.
>4chan actually gratuitously thanks mods and janitors and derails threads whenever they do their job
>Instead of the mods and janitors doing their job being the norm
I wouldn't say that's the case of /v/, I mean yes it happens, but no matter how deep you're into that community, people still arguing saying retard in every sentence, old users actively participate in console wars, photoshoping images, post and more stuff to throw into shitpost, they board rarely stays on topic too. Actually the only people who seem to defend that board are newfags that just got out of /b/.
Don't you dare talk shit about Jaden-sama.
I remember when /mu/ used to be seen as really elitist..those were great times
/a/ is good if you watch airing anime and follow threads for episodes you just watched. It becomes shitty when you try to make it into your only board. Also, why is trying too hard bad? So long as it's funny and not tl;dr, it seems like effort should be appreciated.
It has a name?
>why is trying too hard bad?
Trying too hard is a euphemism for desperate for approval yet failing miserably.
Nothing's wrong with giving effort of course, I wish people would around here.
You mean /q/?
Just finished reading through that, and every part of my body involved in the laughing process is exhausted.
>increased waiting period between posts
Yes, but moot was a faggot and said no complaining about mods.
>/v/ and a lot of other boards started to hate and shitpost anything Japanese
/co/ was lost to tumblr a while ago. /v/ still has a chance, but their are too many people who view the board as their personal shitposting grounds and view any elitism as pointless and cunty because all art is subjective in their retarded ass brains.
Because you came out of your mom cultured and mature, right Anon?
Guy Fawkes masks
The more people get affected by your hate, the better is your hate, what better place to hate japanese things than 4chan? It's obviously some shit started by trolls but as always there are a lot of bandwagon retards who fall into it.
I really miss the old days.
You know, if there's one thing I'm grateful for is that no matter what happens SJW-crap will never be able to affect our hobbies or Japan as a whole.
I feel pity for /co/ and the western side of /v/ at times whenever I see the latest SJW shitstorm. It's just sad.
The Reddit userbase moved in.
People taking trolling/being a dick seriously and it a "thing".
Main reason why certain subcultures were targeted more so than others, all while not being -that- popular i.e. dadrock, shounen fans, metal fans, etc
They get easily offended over their shit, so they were targeted frequently, then it caught on as a "thing".
/q/ was an awful board. Reinstating /q/ would only give SRS and gaiafags a place to whine about /pol/ and /a/. If people are going to complain about a board and try to get it removed, they should do it where the boards residents- those most knowledgeable of the board and affected by a ban- can actually defend themselves.
What's exactly the elitism you want in /v/? Hate every platform and exclusive games that isn't Nintendo? PC? PlayStation? Xbox? Because so far the elitism isn't for good games, it is for brand loyalty.
Just wait for anime to become socially acceptable just like video games did.
The very best and most competent combatants on a battlefield are always 10-16 year old girls. Men are pussies and can't fight for shit, all they are good for are cannon fodder, but the said little girls will annihilate anything that comes to their path. All military units should be composed of 10-16 year old girls.
As long as anime stays japanese there's nothing to worry about.
What will be the Call of Duty for naime? Naruto and Bleach were pretty much the Halo.
Thing is, Japs don't give a fuck about SJW bullshit.
What about whiny teenagers that wander into giant robots?
You know damn well that'll never happen.
that guys stare is so piercing(and judging), is his anime/VN/manga any good?
I have came inside a guy and got a hug? am i on the same feels level as those who have did that with a girl?
No god no, that is just console war shitposting.
I mean elitist in the quality of the media they consume. I see far too many games with soap opera level writing and a sea of posts talking about the "feels" they got.
They just need higher standards for games in general. Too often subpar and mediocre games are excused with weak cries of "well I HAD fun with it." When you can point to objective measures of construction that had a negative influence on the game-play.
Honestly I think the biggest problem is not enough people understand the language of games the way certain film directors and critics understand the language of cinema.
He's a dense retard in the Visual Novel and he fucks King Arthur.
It had a anime adaptation?
>Honestly I think the biggest problem is not enough people understand the language of games the way certain film directors and critics understand the language of cinema.
Trying to make videogames into movies is a key factor of why they are dying.
It was adapted as part of Aoi Bungaku, needless to say it sucked, because you can't show drugs on Japanese Television
"Wouldn't it be good if they made a movie of The Last Of Us... oh wait."
Man that sucks since it is part of the story.
If the right shit comes out it will happen. I don't think anime will become socially acceptable anytime soon but there is definitely a chance.
I don't want them to be movies. I am just contrasting the situation to an established medium.
Really though, too many people talking who have no clue when it comes to the subject.
>You know damn well that'll never happen.
Thank fucking god. Watching animu, especially SoL moéshit will never be viewed as normal and will never be liked by the normalfag.
I don't think pantyshots and tentacles will ever become socially acceptable.
Yeah, most of modern games are pretty just over glorified railshooters.
Don't even get me started on that game. Last time I spoke about it, someone tried to convince me the game had a great artstyle.
You never know.
They were making fun of that, scorning it, hating it, saying how disgusting and perverted it was. Far from making it appear "socially acceptable"
Why do you think there are people trying to make videogames into movies? The only game that could be called a movie are Quantic Dream games, and there are hardly other developers following their example.
Games just to rely on CGI movies for the storytelling, now they use realtime sequences, some of them don't even use cutscenes, just put all the plot in front of you, if anything I would say games are going farther and farther from movies, the graphics are just better.
TLoU, that example that everybody gives, has at least 13 hours of gameplay, more than the average game in any period of time, it doesn't have regenerating health, it has a crafting system, fucking online mode, yet everyone call it a movie because the story is what everyone liked the most.
Just because a game doesn't have a story doesn't mean its gameplay is good, like a lot of people seem to think.
Don't forget about the massive and influx of figmas and body pillows it creates.
In the anime he's the densest of black holes
In fate he's the densest of rocks
In UBW and HF he's a badass
Jokes are the first step in acceptance bro.
First it's taboo, then it jokebait (because it's taboo), then it's known by the masses, then it becomes renowned through curiousity and continued media exposure, then it's raped by the philistine masses, then it restores itself to former glory and left to it's own devices until the next comes along. Typical media cycle.
HA. I'm the one who actually made that image back in 2011. /mu/ is only a shadow of its former self now.
This is honestly the only thing I've learned. Sure things are written poorly and are blatant pandering, but it's fun. Sometimes fun things can just be fun and it's okay.
> 13 hours of gameplay, more than the average game in any period of time,
You are fucking wrong. Argument immediately invalidated.
Don't be like them man, /a/ is better than this.
Man, i just don't know anymore. I'm going to be the most elitist piece of shit in this place, i hope that helps a little.
Is this a thing? I want to see this.
There are plenty of video games that aren't socially acceptable and plenty of video games that plebs don't like. If you tell someone that you play video games they won't think anything of it, they're not going to think you're playing eroge. If you tell someone you like anime they'll probably think hentai or, because of cartoons, that you're a man child. Eventually, when the right shit is released and popularized in America, anime will become socially acceptable and /a/ will go to shit because of newfags.
That wasn't my picture, lets try that again
15 hours at average to beat, on harder levels it's way more.
The game has 2 hours of cutscenes
It has a SHITTY crafting system, boring level design, little to no agency and crap shooting mechanics. The only thing it has going for it is a generic Hollywood story executed well.
It is the definition of award bait.
shingeki no kyojin
For some people it is Madoka. I say it SAO, SnK or FMA.
>It has a SHITTY crafting system
It's not that complex, but most action games don't even have one, just find ammo and that's about it, it doesn't even need to have one but it does, and affects gameplay a lot.
>boring level design
Opinions, and I disagree, you can play stealthy, action oriented, there are horror parts, and with in higher difficulties and with the hearing abilities the game plays just like Hotline Miami, trying and error in every sequence dealing with almost no ammo and looking for enemies patterns.
>crap shooting mechanics
I would agree on this, but I wouldn't change it either, the game having the shotting mechanics of Gears of War would totally kill it.
Of course playing it on normal would be just go straight and killing everyone you see. Look, I didn't even liked the game that much, but it gets too much of unjustified hate just by bandwagon faggots who don't even know what they're talking about.
Not enough episodes, and it tries too hard to have serious plot points.
We'd need something that runs for hundreds of episodes with no plot apart from getting to the next fight.
>We'd need something that runs for hundreds of episodes with no plot apart from getting to the next fight.
It's called Yu Yu Hakusho.
The CoD of anime has to be something that everyone watches or at least knows it exists. Sure, SAO and SnK are popular. But if I walk up to some faggot on the street and ask him if he likes one of them he'll probably say he's never heard of it. Naruto or Bleach is closer to the CoD of anime than SAO is.
When did DBZ stop being the one thing every normalfag remembers from Toonami
Dragon Ball Z.
You already used it: Naruto. How many episodes has it gone through?
Though, I do slightly agree on it being the Halo of anime
>god awful community
>only nostalgia fags and underageb&s like it
I'd almost say the same for CoD4.
Fuck, I forgot about DBZ.
Someone post that gif.
You know what one I'm talking about.
The stealth gameplay is hindered entirely by the fact that strangling people is the only option on the high difficulties and it gets real dull real fast. the action parts are hindered by the aforementioned gunplay. There is way to do steady, slow paced gunplay without making it crap. Your options aren't only GoW or shit. You can make something that fits and is good.
>it gets too much of unjustified hate just by bandwagon faggots who don't even know what they're talking about.
That is a reaction to the fact that a mediocre game is being held up as an example of ART and that this is what games should be. I would never have even given a shit about TLou if not for this. I won't let this become an icon for other devs to follow. For every single person that puts this game up I will tear it down.
You are right. It isn't that bad, but it also isn't that good. False praise is far more toxic than false damnation to the industry and I will not let something I love be led down a creative dead end.
We must be protective of culture or it will be overrun by the plebeian and pseudo intellectual.
I think the Fate series is fantastic. The anime less so, but still. His martyr complex coupled with his lapses in social grace lead to him being suicidally thick at times, but he always pulls through with something badass.
He's the least reasonable in the anime. In the visual novel's first route, he's rather thick, but he mostly gets over it when he realizes that satisfying his martyr complex probably shouldn't make him take the hit for the melee-goddess in full plate that will disappear if he dies or gets injured.
He's just freaking cool in the later routes.
I thought Pokemon was the Pokemon of anime.
If those are really your intentions then that's great, I would even do it too.
But considering you can't change the world by shitposting that a videogame is a movie in an anonymous image board nobody gives a shit about, even more when all the people that are with you are just fanboys and Sony haters, I would rather say things the way they are.
Yes, TLoU isn't the citizen kane of videogames, it would be impossible for almost every game to hold on to such a title, but it's so far from shit or a movie than calling it is just bullshit.
Also, you're over reacing about the shooting mechanics too, I know I said I agree with you, but looking at how you speak now, no, they're definetly not crap.
I probably have higher standards than you for the gunplay as I grew up on UT and Quake.
>But considering you can't change the world by shitposting that a videogame
No you can't, but you can try to put forth well-reasoned arguments to other anons such as yourself and disagree in good faith. Even if I don't convince you, you at least understand where I am coming from. Understanding is almost as invaluable as agreement.
Maybe I can't change the world, but maybe I can convince a few people and then they can convince a few and so on. Nothing will ever change if I do fuck-all.
You would be surprised how many smart people are amongst the shitposters who will reveal themselves so long as you argue in good faith.
Why isn't there just a sticky that can act as a buffer for board/site immigrants that don't know that they're ignorant posers?
It should have a picture of Naruto acting as a magnet. /a/ could go shit-post there and mods could remake the thread whenever it has too many posts?
Naturally, you can't call it the "offical /a/ shit-posting thread". It needs camouflage at least. At least call it the Naruto Shit-eating thread
>hating on our lord and savior
And this is why I love /a/, if you post on /v/ I have never had the lucky of arguing with you. Like I said most of the time I just encounter shitposters or fanboys, even trolls that either admit to like the game and just shitpost for the lulz or people that have never played the game and just hate it.
>I probably have higher standards than you for the gunplay as I grew up on UT and Quake.
I don't know if that means you're old or that you just played those games a lot, when I was growing up FPS games didn't existed, but I also played a lot of UT back in the day and again I don't think something like would work on TLoU because is not a regular shooter, the game has to be slow at aiming. I wouldn't even say it's imprecise because is not. Dead Rising has a similar aiming style and it works pretty well too, when there are so much melee weapons the guns can't be that overpowered.
Well, that line was delivered pretty good in Brotherhood
500k+ views, Jesus
>implying everyone in the world is cancer at some point in their life
You didn't? Hey everybody, look at this pleb.
Wow it's two retarded posts in one. Go back to /v/.
You aren't American unless you eat cornflakes.
oh my god this .gif is fantastic
You're all going to hell.
>mfw i can't do that because my thumb unconciously moves out of the way of the pencil
I'll be going in 180 degree intervals forever.
isn't that Koni-chan?
I loved it.
Some bad maths.
BUT THOSE ARE FROSTIES YOU FUCK
