Yui has a pretty nice battlestation for a high school girl.
Smashed a thinkpad in Full metal panic.
Geobreeders they used NeXTSTEP workstations and IBM palmtops.
These things costed about 10,000 dollars when they were new. Only ones you can find on ebay are still thousands of dollars.
Ran a Unix-like OS, and the first webserver ever was made on it by some guy from CERN.
Finally got a clear screenshot of this.
Ancient macintosh desktop from some 90s anime.
The only thing that looks really nice is that chair.
yeah, totally sweet, wireless electricity and wireless everything
>leaving your computer on the floor
Power is behind the books. Run cables for the monitor and speakers behind the desk leg and across the back edge. Wireless keyboard and mouse.
Neatness isn't that hard.
Nene from BCG 2040 spends 50% of the series at her work battle station. It was pretty old but looked comfy, I can't remember all the other tech from it though. I'd go find a picture from an ep but I'm too lazy to leave bed.
>wasting desk space
>Having a babby small desk
Uiharu + thinkpad.
>not using all possible space for more monitors
>putting your computer on top of your desk
Did you enjoy your 50th birthday anon? Would you like me to show you how to pull up that angry birds game and your e-mail again?
How many monitors you need son? I have 2 24inches, and could probably fit a smaller one in there, and that isn't without using wall space. Or the other corner of my desk (it's L shape).
3 of them plus phone, audio, etc. I don't like how wall mounts look.
I would have a 3rd monitor, but I just use a flat screen tv for anime.
I use an actual TV in a different room for anime. I don't want distractions during that.
I generally have a bunch of SSH/RDP/VNC session open all the time, so the extra real estate helps keep them organized.
You can't handle this motherfuckers setup.
so much pleb in this thread
Jesus christ, just imagine the size of the cooler on that thing.
128MB of RAM was a shitload of RAM in terms of having a 16-bit processor.
Was this real? Did they seriously have her use an xbox360? I guess it shows how poor they're supposed to be.
She was just using this.
Just shaft being shaft.
40 MHz is pretty damn high for a 16-bit processor. I think 286 went to max 25 MHz, with Intel versions topping out at 16 MHz. Also, 286 supports max 16 megabytes (128mbits) of RAM.
Eh work out how much RAM can actually be addressed from a 16 bit computer.
Isn't it 2^16 bytes (64K)?
I'm too lazy to find a boke reaction image for this post.
Not quite that simple. They used to cheat with bank switching and such.
