Just finished reading this gem, what was /a/'s impression of it?
Sure the art was pretty average (though it improved and had it's moments), but it's got to be one of the funniest manga I've ever read
I just wish there was more.
Ikuno and her dad living in the haunted house was some funny shit.
It's good. Not the funniest ever, but a good laugh.
I thought it was kind of stretching it already. Any longer and it would've gotten really old.
It was great. The guy only ever made that and Claymore so far, which is a shame because he's pretty good at comedy.
I know how you feel man
One of my favourite parts had to be the 3 way dad face off
Using the same jokes for every introductory arc got old really fast but the comedy beyond that was good and overall it was a great manga.
He needs to drop Claymore and go back to comedy.
>only ever made that and Claymore
I would doubt that. At the very least, there's another listed on his Mangaupdates page. UNdeadman. Award winning? Well, it's never going to be translated.
Yeah it wore on me a little to and I was waiting for it to stop being funny. It never happened.
Is it just me or does he look a lot like Gihren Zabi?
It is absolutely fucking hilarious. Funnier than DKN nichijou.
Man the art from the first volume looks so bad compared to some of the later ones
Unfortunately seems like it's only a oneshot with a couple of sequel chapters. Plus it's from 1990 or something, no way this will ever be translated.
I wanted to find out what Ryoko's dad was gonna do when he finds out she kissed Seiichiro.
Fucking great, the only manga that made me laugh for real
or compare that to current day claymore. He's really improved over the years.
3 way dad standoff had me in tears, holy shit
I really liked the artwork, the characters actually have realistic facial features, aside from the Kitano family of course.
I'm a little sad that this woman had such a short appearance
Even though i wished it was longer, i am glad that at least the romantic aspect of it was covered up neatly.
That's one of the big plus's of this series, that the romance was realistic with no wacky misunderstandings or "when is s/he going to confess?" bullshit
I love it. Funny, great message and good romance. 8/10.
It ended just as the jokes were getting old imo, the author made the right decision to end it there
Simplistic but it's one of the few manga that manages to destroy my sides upon every reread somehow. There is something magical about it, I dunno what.
It was hilarious, one of the best i've read, but he ended it before it stretched out to much,
It is one of the best series ever in all mediums. You keep thinking it should be over and the author could not find a way to make it interesting again but he does.
I cried with Kitano when Kyoko insulted him.
I am just hoping the artist will return to something more along the lines of AD after Claymore.
Sadly, after reading his lines in the end of manga I wouldn't count on it
I'm a third way into it, and it's really fucking funny. I'm not exactly sure how they're gonna drag it out for another 60 chapters though
