Kirito Dies at the end of Season 2
>“Heart rate is dropping!”
>“Start chest compressions!”
>“No… no… Kirito-kun… not something like this…”
>Kirito-kun, it’s a lie, right? You aren’t going to leave me, right? You said we’ll be together forever…… didn’t you say that?
>The pink heart displayed on the monitor throbbed slightly once, before it stopped pulsing.
>implying Gary Stu doesn't have impenetrable plot armor
His sister has enough plot for 5 seasons alone
no anon no
Doesn't matter. The Anime NEEDS to end with this as the last episode.
All those anime-onlyfags and their tears.
>not reading the LNs
>not understanding the scenario in OP would guarantee S3 due to fans losing their shit
it would be a fitting ending, but they'll probably take the cheap way out and only put that scene in a mostly-rehashed-content movie to introduce S3 after S2 finishes airing
No I completely understand the intent.
Sure hope he does but we all know there will be some kind of asspull since his plot armor is thicker than japanese steel
Actually, point of the OP, is that S2 should end at the start of the 4th arc.
See, Season 2 will cover the 3rd arc, (GGO/Phantom Bullet) and likely some side-stores and a mini-arc afterwards.
The 4th story arc in the Novel, starts with Kirito being attacked by one of the villains of the 3rd arc, who got away.
The greentext in OP is basically some anon's idea of how the ending credits should be, for the last episode, based on dialogue from the book.
Basically, "This happens" not, "This should happen"
so he really does die?
GGO was actually cool, 100x better than Alfheim.
Mother Rosario on the other hand...
Well, his heart stops, yeah.
They get his heart beating again.
The guy from the Extra Edition special? He moves Kirito to a special hospital where he can give him special care, and put him into a specialized Virtual World simulation, to help repair the brain damage.
But hey, no Asuna, and better character development, that doesn't revolve around girls wanting to suck Kirito's dick. Also we get sadist lolis, who want to cut off people's heads for fun.
yes, he technically "dies" and gets brain damage from lack of oxygen, but PLOT ARMOR is strong enough to outwit death and he gets put into the "accelerated world" precursor to give his brain time to heal/regenerate, which is what the Alicization storyline covers
you just KNOW they're going to show Asuna going nuts on the research ship at least a handful of times, to keep the idiot fanbase happy
Too many asunafags to keep her away forever
I really hope the Anime doesn't try to shove Asuna in more times than she needs.
Though, I really wonder how much Reki plans to change the Light Novel plot away from the Web Novel's route. Because we'll probably end up with Asuna up the ass, towards the end, anyways.
