What is your favorite scene from the first half of KLK?
Mako becoming Bancho was the best scene so far.
When Mako dies thursday
How could it be anything else?
I'll just go ahead and post the best scenes of each episode.
That's not the ending credits.
This part and only this.
Stopped at episode 10.
The parts with Nonon.
She is the only reason I still watch this shit.
All of episode 12. Goddamn what a good episode.
The brooms were never explained, were they.
Anything with Nui.
Ryuuko's introduction shot with the aggressive dolly-zoom, no contest. Masterpiece.
Tsumugu used them. I'm going with that until proven otherwise.
niu worst killakill
The scene where Nui reveals to Ryuuko that she killed her dad, before Ryuuko went berserk.
I think it was the very end of 11.
With the music and everything going on at that point, it was pretty heavy.
The Mako episode in its entirety comes in a close second.
Honorable mentions include both times Ryuko and Satsuki eye each other down set to an all black background as their primary colors flair up, and Ryuko running up the Naturals Election pillar as the Devas rise up around her.
>yfw ryuuko find out who kill her dah
Remember when we thought this was going to be a breather episode about Gama learning to drive?
I like the scene where the protagonists monologues about the dead and future generations make up a double helix spiraling through the universe.
Isn't Yoko only 14?
I do, Good times!! maybe well get an OVA
Every week until she gets her uniform back
Isn't the explanation that different underground cities measured time in different ways, and that she's actually like 16-17 or something?
Her village only recently emerged from underground, so in cave-years she is probably closer to 17-18.
I really liked everything before Senketsu showed up. As soon as he showed up and raped Ryuuko the entire show went downhill. But it's satisfying in "other" ways so I keep watching.
This reminds me, the scene in the last episode where Mako and Ryuko are talking about their hardcore fixations as Osaka burns in the background looks super good, like a final farewell scene
This is my favorite episode.
>The crazy megazoom shot on Ryuuko's introduction
>That DON'T LOSE YOUR WAY when Satsuki and Ryuuko are goin' to town on each other
>The Blue Danube scene in ep4
>The Mako fight
>Pretty much all the scenes with Sensei
>The flying transformation with SAK YO BLUD
>The ending of whatever episode when Nui shows up and the pin popping out of Ryuuko's glove
>Fucking Nui reveal
There's at least one in every episode.
> satisfying in "other" ways
>When Mako dies thursday
Why do people say this
Because it needs to happen
I just remembered that episode 13 was garbage aside from the twist at the end.
This is my favorite scene in my favorite episode.
So that when she eventually does, people can say they "called it"
And then episode 14 more than makes up for it.
>one guy just flat out crushed by a rock
Excuse me but, I think your forgetting the scene where a bunch of business men look at rainbow laser light shows with a serious face as Ragyo and Satsuki talk metaphorically about original sin then Ragyo takes her up to Gendo's office and molests her.
Nah, the Ragu segment was aight. It's just that fucking Nui was so ridiculous everyone forgets how lame sad Ryuuko and the school stuff was.
Some people develop quickly, that makes some sense. They live underground and all.
Reminder that sexual harassment is a crime.
>tracksuit scarf ryuuko
I'm really sad that she's never gonna wear that again after next episode, it looks great
I really enjoyed the rusemaster episode just for this gag.
The tracksuit does look good, but I thought that episode as a whole was pretty weak.
>You can actually tell that it's fake because the fog in the background isn't moving
Fuck, that entire fight was so great.
>students flying from explosion
>and getting pulled back in
>and flying away again
Where were you when boxing guy was kill?
Yes, because we always expect such quality and attention to detail from Trigger.
the scene where it didn't drag on
They were on the holodeck the whole time!
What are you on about? Anything involving our lord and savior Takarada is gold.
Weak? Weak at being boring?
Am I the only one who thinks Aikurō will die in the next episode?
Yeah of course
When Mommy dearest calls Satsuki for the first time.
>Blumenkranz for the first time
>that shot of the city
Sorry, I don't find his appeal let alone the episode's. He and the computer wizard are my least favorite of the Elite Four.
The entire fight between Ryuko and Nonon was fucking astounding. Of course, being a native /mu/sician, I'm slightly biased, but seriously, goddamn, I loved every second of it.
We've theorized this for the past three episodes guys, they aren't going to kill off the only comic relief character.
Sometimes this anime goes past the limit of general acceptable anime weirdness, even considering that it is supposed to be over the top and a bit goofy like TTGL.
I love her hair.
Man he got to see dat ass mang
Its okay though because hes gay.
Belinda... please to... bendover in front of me... to see if... coals are hot.
Who are you even talking about?
>not liking the rainbow hair
You gay, son?
Oh, him. Yeah, I don't see the appeal.
Sure you don't. Sure.
That's not all he saw. He's picked her up unconscious in the street like... twice? Three times?
He's seen it all.
What is so interesting about him? Really?
This whole progression.
Well, other than his design, his accent, the fact that he humorously prints his own money and his eccentric personality, he's turning into a giant gold robot crab next week.
Personally, I don't see how any of that is particularly interesting or humorous. He is the most memorable new character in that episode, but I wouldn't mind never seeing him again, unlike pic related.
Blumenkranz plays when ragyu first appears
I wish I was in the live thread when this happened.
The first fight with satsuki, that music
>mfw there's nothing as good as episode 1, 3, 8, 11 or 15 of TTGL in KLK
Kill la Kill is only good relative to itself but it has no stand-out moments.
god, he had warcraft-tier boss mechanics
Nah, only memorable episodes of TTGL first half was simon going HAM and when he fights Genome, which wasn't all that great because all he did was some shitty sneak attack to defeat him.
And most of the 2nd half was complete shit except for the last episode.
All the deaths in the 2nd half felt forced as fuck and the characters were never fleshed out enough for me to care about them dying.
My favorite future scene will be when that Nui retard finally gets chopped to bits after losing her other eye and then dies screaming and begging and crying while no one saves her because she's a horrible cunt
>not caring about Kittan
wow thanks, just lost my job
I was about to disagree with you and call you a fucking idiot, but then I thought about it and you're actually right.
Nah Kamina and Kittan were both obnoxious faggots.
Please tell me you're serious so I can laugh harder
at least you didn't lose your way
>bottom right frame
dat bitch sexy.
what about the ending, I think is pretty memorable
please don't bully
>That sudden bass drop as the other Scissor Blade is fully unveiled
Pretty good way to make jaws drop.
I hope her death is stretched out across the whole episode
Yea, I said the last episode was good.
I actually liked Nia and was sad when she died.
Oh fuck, I just realized the hints.
>Left eye is never shown
>In the girl's washroom
>Banned from the school grounds
>Refers to himself with "boku"
>Aikurou is suspicious of him
>screencap and post slowpoke 2 years from now.jpg
Best introduction by far. Nui's is second.
The entire episode 4, that shit was crazy
You can tell they just had fun with episode 4.
That one part where Trigger ran out of money and moved around static cels and tried to pass it off as animation.
Yeah, that part was great.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
inumuza's fight was the shortest
but it was the best and most creative
Ive never seen more creative calculations that didn't look like they were pulled out the character's ass
where's the episode reaction chart?
inferno cop was great, so I'm not complaining
>people actually using this episode as proof of low budget when it was obviously just a fun filler episode that didn't need a lot of investment to still be great
C'mon man, there's a lot wrong with the show but you could at least choose a valid point.
Hey, I found it!
Wait, is that Tsumugu? Between that and >>100698125 I'm about to go full retard.
Tsumugu has blood. He can hear Senketsu. He has a red stripe in his hair. Senketsu hates disgusting blood.
What if Tsumugu and Ryuuko are related and therefore Tsumugu can use Senketsu? Tsumugu would HATE that, considering what happened to Kinue.
>there will never EVER be a KLKxTTGL crossover
>Mako in that suit
Anon stop, I'm just a man
So many emotions at this point of the episode.
>bottom right frame
Oh god, what is it about just adding two lines to her chest that makes her incredibly lewd.
Why does this upset me so much?
I guess Ryuuko is just a decent enough character I never looked at her design as just fap fuel.
Nice, do you have the live thread of episode 13?
I recall the shitstorm being fucking huge for "IT'S ME AUSTIN" because Nui already tricked us.
