The wait is finally over
DameDesuYo is better and faster.
OST is very good
Just finished watching the first episode out of curiosity. Has that air about it of wanting to be the next big shounen, and you know, I really like it. I'm a little worried about the next episodes, though, with all those production values that were in the first. Either they're really well budgeted, or they did the ol' blow it all on the first ep to rope in the viewers.
Yukine isn't as annoying as I thought he was going to be.
Whatever else you want to say about Bones, they are pretty good at delivering consistently high quality animation.
it was great
When are the OP and ED singles released?
I hate it when they treat Yato like shit. I mean, he actually does his jobs, he can't help being poor.
He is a shit god after all
As an anime-only fag, to me it just seems like he doesn't get enough jobs. He's doing then pretty well, aside from Hiyori's case.
Right? Not to mention he only asks for 5 yen per request.
OP January 29
ED March 12
OST February 22
>ED March 12
What the fuck ;_;
Let's talk about clavicles.
No wonder Yukine keeps getting ledw thoughts.
>steals money out of Hiyori's wallet
>takes old mans money
>tries to get some from Hiyori while she is sleeping when she trusted enough to let him stay at her house.
>smash up schools windows
>sprite of little girl gets devoured because he was a dick to her and put almost no effort into saving her and actually pushed her into the mob.
>almost gets yato killed because he is an ass hole
Yato popping random boners made me laugh the entire episode
He's not popping boners, he's actually experiencing physical pain because of Yuki's lewd thoughts.
fuck I meant spirit
Will Yato always be a loser or will he finally get respect?
Hiyori a cute
You forgot your spoiler tags too, mangafriend.
I hope he stops caring and settles for just railing Hiyori.
What the fuck was that bullshit that Yato was saying about possessed people deserving to die?
Somehow I doubt that the possessed would have wanted to become possessed in the first place, so why the arbitrary distinction from the people who died without getting possessed?
That entire segment made no sense, and its whole purpose seemed to be to make Hiyori cry over her misunderstanding.
While I agree with you, he didn't say they deserved to die, he said "If they want to die, just let them"
I think what he really meant was that people who actually want to kill themselves just should, not those who are forced to. Either that, or he had a bad experience in the past with suicide and now he tries to not get involved anymore.
He's a god of war, so death is no big deal for him.
I was expecting something like that too.
"I saved some possessed guy trying to kill himself from a phantom but then he just killed himself later" or something
Looks like they are planning to leave out the little girl dying and toning down his assholeish behavior like they've been doing since ep. 1.
But I'm really liking how great it looks and the OST
>from a phantom
because of a phantom*
The only reason they get possessed in the first place is because they start thinking about gloomy shit like killing themselves to rid themselves of their worries.
Anime could've been more clear on this part.
But they don't want to die. They're possessed. They aren't the ones making the decision.
>literally a god
>god of war
>alive for thousands of years
Why would he care about the lives of petty mortals?
They only get possessed from being depressive and shit like that. I don't think there's any guarantee that they won't just kill themselves a week later when they fuck up all the tests again.
Same reason he cares about all the other petty shit he gets visibly upset about.
That was the part that bothered me. I didn't think the show wouldn't pull out the angst and misunderstandings so early.
I thought it was pretty clear on the point. It's the same reason he saved the dude.
He's far more sympathetic to the people who died when wanting to live, so he finds the people who willingly die or have thoughts along those lines contemptible.
Plus I'd agree with >>100697026
He seems pretty blase about how Hiyori could pretty much die at any point.
The manga emphasizes it a lot more: the phantoms aren't showing up out of nowhere and ruining happy people's lives, the people are the cause of their own problems. Even after Yato cuts the phantom, the situation is not magically fixed, it just becomes more manageable. The human still has to alter their own behavior or it'll all happen over again.
The principle is a bit of a Shinto staple. Maybe they toned it down because they thought it seemed overemphasized.
Then eyeballs happens and he becomes the perfect shota son you never had.
Characters that develop are the best characters.
He seems pretty old to be a shota. Isn't he almost the same height as hiyori too?
Yukine is like 14. He's a shota.
He's about 14. Technically not shota, but with his looks I don't mind stretching the term.
Eagerly waiting for the rest of the chapters to be scanlated for that one page of Yato in a pile of dosh
This is what happens when you cut out the introduction to a series.
