Sinbad a shit. Fish princess pure.
Why so bad SinBAD?
what the fuck is wrong with his nose?
You thought it was a cute girl?
Too bad it was me, Sinbad!
that or Chaotic good, dunno if the bastard does his stuff behind Jaafar and the others..
What a cockblock.
I kind of liked S1
Is S2 better or worse?
the manga is better
Adaptation is better, original material is worst.
You'll like SII more.
Fish Princess wanted Sinbad inside her and she got it, i don't see the problem.
So what are the Fanalis supposed to be anyway?
S2 is quite better. Nothing oustanding though.
She's not pure, she wanted the D
some ancient exiled race with brainwashed later generation ? (probably explains their far home )
i'm thinking they have a thing to do with king Solomon
Love the do the two in the lower right are rocking.
"Just because we're quadruped metal inter-dimensional wolf-dragon things doesn't mean we can't have style!"
Oh shut up, no one ever liked you. And you never happy. HOW MANY ROADS DO YOU WANT MAN?
She clearly had a fever.
Any translatorfag in the mood?
I marathoned the first season last week and saw two episodes of the second season. I had a look at the manga and it has thousands of chapters.
I'm wondering at what chapter the first season ended and if it diverged much from the source. Did they skip out on entire arcs or wrote off characters that are important in the manga?
66-68? I think.
> Did they skip out on entire arcs or wrote off characters that are important in the manga
Most changes happen during the sindria arc, anime abridged things. Only thing that changed aside from that is the use of the Al Thamen guy as S1 main villain.
In the manga Alibaba never went dark, and once you use a dark djinn you die, they don't know anyway of saving someone who uses a dark Djinn.
I'd read the manga but the art is fucking awful
like holy shit, some person actually drew over a hundred chapters for this shit and didn't improve? It's not even the charming kind of bad
Well, he would have it coming.
It's not bad it's just average.
it's a weekly manga anyway, you don't read them for the art
what's so awful about it? do you just not like the style?
seems alright to me
The art did get better, in some stances only. Double spreads are vastly superior now than they once were when the series was just about dungeon hijinks.
Hey it's my OTP, show some respect
Alright so now the big question, is Alibaba going to join the Kou empire and marry princess Kougyoku or will he say fuck off to both Sinbad and Kouen and decide to escape to Reim with Titus and Aladdin?
Kouen and Sinbad seem to want Alibaba to join the Kou empire so I think that's exactly what Alibaba isn't going to do. He and Aladdin are already suspicious of Sinbad and this mind control is the last straw I think. I believe he's going to be heavily pressured into joining and maybe even forced into it but he'll escape as soon as the opportunity presents itself.
also Morgiana best girl
Mor is best girl but Alibaba doesn't deserve her
And abandon Balbadd? nah
>escape to Reim with Titus and Aladdin?
That's basically signing Reim's total anihilation, they have no means of defending themselves against powerhouses such as Laem and Sindria, unless somehow Aladdin unleashes his full Solomon heritage and gets Ugo back again, then pumping everyone in Reim with imsurable amounts of Magoi.
Not too bad then, thanks. I'll go ahead and start reading it instead.
Yup that sure is the face of a man in love
He did it once and he will do it again.
I think he'll try to find a third way, not sure if that'll take a long time, in which case a move to Reim might be in order or this arc in which case Balbadd might end up as the new base of operations as they have to deal with Sin.
Let's be fair, they might be a masochist
What we know about the Fanalis so far is that they are born with incredible strength and speed yet a notably small amount of magoi. There also seems to be quite a few of them with more primal behaviors and the only one we've seen so far capable of using a full Djinn equip has been a half-blood.
Speaking of half bloods, they are proof that they are in fact human, or at least partially. So the Fanalis are likely originated from humans and somehow adapted to being beastmen.
He had absolutely no means of protecting it back then, though,
>Mor isn't in the ring since she is too strong.
Being Mor is suffering
>no means of defending themselves
Fanalis corps, 2 Magi and who knows how many metal vessel users and household members.
That's not even mentioning their superior technology and the Arena combatants who know Magoi Manipulation.
He's young and doesn't know shit about romance, give him time to mature.
He wouldn't be abandoning it he would be ensuring it has a bright future by stopping the entire world from going up in flames. Right now they are surviving, but if he joins the Kou empire and they rule the world then like all empires it will eventually fall and the entire world will suffer.
Sinbad is willing to exploit Kougyoku's feelings to forward his agenda. Not only is he not in love, he has a negative opinion of her.
To be fair if he didn't Abandon Balbadd he would have been killed and wouldn't have accomplished anything.
If he can think of a 3rd way out of this then I wouldn't be surprised. After all he managed to bow to Kouen while still making him look like a bitch, that's kind of impressive.
Only one of them is real threat, and he can't keep it up for more than a few seconds.
One who was "just born" and the other hasn't reached his true potential yet.
>who knows how many metal vessel users and household members.
If those do exist, they sure weren't strong enough to be on the frontlines against Hogwarts.
Koeun's household was enough to put Reim and Magnoshtat scared shitless of their might.
I doubt it
Balhadd was not being taken over by the Kou empire then, and he also has his debt to Kasim.
Eh, I don't think Alibaba has enough experience under his belt to outwit both Sinbad and Ren.
It's canon that Reim is weaker than the seven seas alliance and Kou.
The big cheese said so himself
sinbad did nothing wrong besides everything he does in the manga
>Problem Solved, Series Over
>nothing wrong besides everything he does in the manga
the irony is strong with you
Haha, sorry, I meant in the other manga he did nothing wrong, yet.
A shame the latest chapter completely overshadowed the anime. We could have had some funny /pol/ discussions again.
If I were a jew I would jew them, but since I'm not, fuck them.
Why is always Morgianna the one told about wars? .)
Reim didn't think it was nessesary to bring any more. If Aladdin wasn't a magi and Alibaba wasn't OP as shit then Hogwarts would have been fucked.
Keep in mind that the worst thing you can do is to leave yourself defenseless, especially when you're ruling over an entire nation.
in the actual Magi manga, he's known to have fallen in depravity .. thus, being screwed
in sinbad no bouken, he was just like Alibaba is now..
i guess in the end Alibaba will be someone who has escaped that shit
>Alibaba wasn't OP as shit
Have you seen his sword? It's specialty is that it melts through everything. He can just go around destroying people's vessels and even if he runs out of magoi all he needs is for Aladdin to make a flame tornado and then he's back to full again.
That's a foregone conclusion, Sinbad will do something bad, or something will bad will happen to him, that thing will push him into becoming 50% darkness.
>It's specialty is that it melts through everything.
Easily overpowered by Kouen's phoenix, the man himself only saw it as an addition to fuel his attacks against the Medium,
Alibaba vs Kouen? Might as well have him fight Sinbad while you're at it. Just skip all the journey and progression and get right to the main boss am I right?
What? This whole conversation started with the delusion that Alibaba fleeing to Reim would somehow make that land a fine stronghold against Sindria and Kou.
In any case, is Sinbad for or against the arranged marriage? He said something how it'd benefit Sindria, but I'm not really sure how(I mean yeah he's inside Kogyoku's mind but the second they try to secede Balbadd from Kou shit is going down)
I'm saying that fighting a country on it's homeland is a bad idea unless you have overwhelming forces. Reim may not be strong enough to go out and attack Kou but they sure as hell are strong enough to defend themselves.
Dunno, it could work it out as Aladdin losing trust in Alibaba and going to Sinbad's dick, while Aladdin is distrustful of Sinbad, Kou is definitely worse in his book.
He told Alibaba to go through with it. Alibaba joining Kou is most beneficial to Sinbad. As for marriage, it only makes it easier for him and Alibaba to communicate since Kougyoku and Alibaba will always be in close proximity.
If Kou is too strong to attack head on, then taking it out from the inside is the next best choice.
pic sorta related
He's for it, most likely he's planning to use Alibaba as an inside man.
On that note, it says a lot about Scheherazade's power that her alone makes Reim the equal of "I'm the chosen one and natural anime protagonist" Sinbad and his alliance of metal vessel users and the Kou Empire. Mu and Titus need to do more to shift the balance of power to their side.
Ren is smart but he's also an arrogant idiot.
Alibaba is charismatic and sharp, he can turn
the tables given enough time.
That being said, I wonder how he will feel about it?
Marrying for the sake of politics and keeping
a knife behind his back seems like the beginning of a road to depravity.
Reim has gunpowder, sooner or later they are going to have canons, and with chemistry comes industrialization. Reim is the future of the world, all they need to do is survive at this point.
All the cannons in the world can't save them from how bullshit OP metal vessels are.
The barrier was supposed to be indestructible. Reim has proven that it doesn't need magic to fight magic. Their previous Magi was preparing them to be able to take on the whole world without her help. Just you wait, Reim will be the first ones to take down Vessel users with ease using superior technology.
Depends on how fast Reim's technology will advance, and if the other countries won't be stupid enough not to steal their technological secrets and have both that and super-powered vessels. I'd be honestly surprised if Koumei didn't think ahead and tried to take a sample of Reim's gunpowder weapons.
They can copycat, sure, but that's assuming they have skilled chemists and prestigious universities. From what we've seen they are destroying cultures and instilling a sort of police state where if you don't do exactly what they say you starve to death or get executed. Meanwhile Reim is working towards industrialization and representation, if Kou doesn't fully commit to stopping this or competing with it soon then they are going to fall behind more and more. That goes for the alliance too.
I don't know if he said to go ahead with the marriage. He said "what you told me about awhile ago, you should do that..." It could be "go ahead with the marriage, or something else Alibaba said in an older chapter that I can't recall. Sensescans, history with, wonky grammar makes these things a tad hard to figure out.
No, he was clearly referring to the marriage proposal.
Does make sense, the wording just threw me off. Still they've gotten better over all.
