You know what I'd like to do?
Go back in time 8, maybe 9 years, to when the doll craze was at its height. Go to /a/, tell them I come from 2014 and the Rozen Maiden manga has just ended, then post just this one page. Their reaction would make up for every disappointment I've had with the series ever since that time.
I want to go back in time and tell /a/ that Kamina dies.
On January the 1st. Before the anime has even been announced. When the show appears, this uncommon name will pop up in their minds, a screenshot or two will appear, and they will freak out waiting to see if that one anon was a prophet from the future. 2chan might catch wind of it, but the internet's vague nature will make sure that GAINAX doesn't change anything.
And so, they'll spend the first episodes waiting for Kamina to die and shouting like it's the end of the world.
Woua, it ended ? where did you find the raw ? Google reverse image give me nothing.
I went to Desuchan, followed some links they posted for previous chapters and it turned out that site now has the last chapter too.
I'd link you directly, but 4chan won't let me.
So, what happened?
Most Mangakas don't fucking know how to end their stories.
So fucking close
i was aiming for a 1 number before yours
Would you tell them the episode it happened, or just vaguely that Kamina dies?
I'd go to the early Samumenco threads and make constant monkey puns, just to see if the shitstorm gets bigger.
Tell them the number of the episode before the one he dies in.
Did they at least explain a few things?
Why did it have to get a sudden end yet again anyway? Did the sales drop or is it some argument between peach pit and the publisher or something?
Why? You can have all of that fun by spoiling a LotGH thread every time one pops up.
Wait, where are the raws? All I can find are Chinese scans.
I need the raws. At least tell me how you found them on desuchan.
Holy shit the raws are posted thank you to whoever posted them.
Fine, I just posted the zip on Desuchan, I guess they want it too. Manga/Doujinshi board, chapter 66 thread, you'll find it.
Maybe Megu wasn't that big of a bitch after all.
Hina lives once more
Now lives and is bro's with Kira and the juns
Stinku is the only dead doll
TRULY THIS IS THE GREATEST END
I was really surprised. I didn't think Peach-Pit had the balls to do it. I still don't get why only her Rosa Mystica was destroyed though.
I swear I'm developing good sixth sense for dropping shit that can't possibly have decent endings.
To make way for a bonus end that canonizes Bara. The internet would flood with RM fan tears.
This ending wasn't bad actually. Wrapped everything up nicely.
Please tell me that fucker Rozen is dead for good.
Well, the Alice Game wasn't really his fault to begin with.
She died, as far as I am concerned it's a 0/10, forced feels.
Shinku's not dead guys.
>Jun: I'll make a new Rosa Mystica.
>Jun: Watch me recreate Shinku with my own hands.
Not to mention the very last text strongly implies she's still alive somehow.
Probably both and then some.
Did this create some degree of commotion at Moonland, or is it deader than here?
Rozen Maiden Z incoming ?
Text translation for OP's page.
>Shinku: I am the proud fifth Rozen Maiden and your very happy doll.
More like Rozen Maiden: Encore.
More like Rozen☆Maiden
i've totally lost the sequence, what happened to kaito?
don't you mean, Rozen Maiden no Kufuku
He had one of the most hilarious deaths in the manga. Kaito, a guy who believes that he is the successor to Rozen, finds out that he was actually a doll created by Kirakishou to replace the real Father. After that moment of irony, he turns into a bunch of butterflies after the real Rozen shows up.
>After that moment of irony, he turns into a bunch of butterflies
I don't even know what to think of that.
Rozen Maiden SS
>Hina is the little girl of the group
Similar things happening are not rare in manga.
Do you remember Sola?
Why is Shinku so perfect?
>mfw reading the ending
Boku in jeans is the woman of my dreams.
Deen fucked everything up in the anime (ratings and sales were abysmal), and editors told Peach Pit to pull the plug.
Say what you will about the first Rozen Maiden seasons—it certainly did not result in the end of the manga (that was PP's fault).
PP did absolutely nothing wrong. They adapted the manga (mostly) faithfully with a slightly new art style for realism. What is wrong is Japan's shit taste.
>Make a new one
Old one's dead, yo. Move on.
Peach Pitt did everything wrong. It's why they were fighting with their original publisher (Birz) in the first place.
Please don't tell me that's the only available translation. That shit's horrible in so many ways.
Nope. See >>100685285
Shit, quoted the wrong one. >>100685703
>does not imply any single thing about "REVIVING" the original version
Jun is going to make a doll real. realdoll. That's it.
That's also the very same line she gave to Jun before she peaced out in the first season of the anime. Also not the lack of Rosa Mystica. We already know recreating her body is peanuts. Rosa Mystica is a different task completely.
She's dead, Jun.
That was a pretty liberal translation. Jun used "起こして" which means "to rise" though it's pretty obvious it's recreation.
>That's also the very same line she gave to Jun before she peaced out in the first season of the anime
She came back alive, right? How is she even saying those words in the last chapter if she's dead?
It's a hard and blatant contradiction, then. Rosa Mystica are supposed to be unique, as they house the doll's soul/personality/memories/etc. How is he going to revive something that's destroyed unless the fragments just so happen to be laying about?
>How is he going to revive something that's destroyed unless the fragments just so happen to be laying about?
That's probably what he's going to do. He's going to search the N-Field for fragments of Shinku's Rosa Mystica. Why do you think all the dolls were gathered at the door?
>Rosa Mystica are supposed to be unique, as they house the doll's soul/personality/memories/etc.
AFAIK, Rosa Mystica is the essence to make a Rozen Maiden "come alive", while the doll body houses the personality and memories (hence the reason the cocksucker Souseiseki mentions that she "remembers the older JUM taking care of her body").
And yes, the said Rosa Mystica must match the the corresponding body (with the exception of the twins, which to an extent, have interchangeable RMs)
Which means that if they were going to continue it, the set up would probably be like tsubasa reservoir chronicles
What did you think of the ending? Did you like it?
Kinda bittersweet for me considering that i stayed for shinku/gin interaction
I can't believe it, Hina actually came back.
Yeah, kinda sad that shinku's mia
I question Peach-Pit's decision to do that. It's the fucking ending, wrap things up so that there are no more loose ends.
>tfw no Rozen Maiden sequel
