I think the reason I avoided it was the name - "Blame!" sounds like... I don't know what the fuck it sounds like, but not good, and definitely not like the quiet, lonely, almost mystical trip through the labyrinth it is. It's like Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou and Gantz had a kid that inherited the slick-black looks of the father and the quiet melancholy of the mother.
