God, she looks like a bi....
She has blush marks, therefore she's cute.
That one scene where they fight the giant dragon cocoon from inside a harrier is fucking bad assed.
yay magical women, magical girls are overatted and for pedophiles anyway
In my top 3 android gainax girls, she is the only one that doesn't die.
POWER OF TEN THOUSAND CONTINOUS ORGASMS
mahoro(comes back to life in the manga) and Nono?
My favorite Honey.
So this is Cutie Honey, huh? Always seen the name (and porn), but never the caps and description. Now I'm interested.
... To enjoy a good show. Not to fap. Nuh-uh. Nope.

The first episode is pure gold. Imaishi FTW
TT is giving me live action. Which sub group should I look for to find the anime or is it live action with some animated segments?
RE:Cutey Honey was the worst Honey adaption I've seen.
It was pretty epic, nostalgiafag
at least it's better than that crappy 'realistic' version which was far from Go Nagai's original cartoony character designs
It's anime, but good luck finding subbed version.
I am lost as to the relevance.
Search for Re Cutie Honey.
The first episode is completely nuts. I loved it.
Actually the current live action series is the worst simply for retarded Honey.
Personally, I liked Honey's personality in New Cutie Honey the best, although I still prefer the orginal anime (1970s) to any of the ones that came later.
Seriously, New Cutie Honey took Nagai's designs and made them look like generic large eyed magical girl shoujo bullshit. At least Gainax kept the look and feel of the original.
I'm probably the only one who liked all 3 equally.
Sailor Spork has done up to episode 14 or 15 of the original series (best version). You can find the DVD for New Cutie Honey pretty easily (released by ADV), I don't think there's any fansubs of it, but you could try looking for a torrent (I have the DVD, never tried downloading it). I'd avoid Flash (too Sailor Moon-ish for my tastes), but Sailor Spork has also subbed parts of it. Re: Cutie Honey you can find a torrent of at isohunt.com, there's a couple groups that subbed this, any of them work really.
I've never seen the original animu, but Toei's 70s go nagai manga adaptations were usually horrible compared to the original material so I'm inclined to believe that you're just trying to earn weeaboo cred by liking 'oldskool' shows
While quite fond of Re: Cutie Honey, the old OVA series from the 90s has a special place in my heart. It was the first really ecchi anime I saw back when I was first getting interested in the fandom.
Nah, the original Honey TV was pretty good.
Dude, you're thinking of Cutie Honey Flash.
New Cutie Honey was actually really true to the original intent of the series, and a lot of the characters followed Nagai's art style pretty well.
That's weird since I googled "new cutie honey" and got that picture
which looks pretty damned awful
there were Akira Fudo, too.
Cutie Honey original is actually really good, but a few of Go Nagai's TV adaptations did suck (Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger), this wasn't one of them.
The 70s Getter Robo anime was the most terrible bullshit ever. Seriously, they made everyone an unlikable, one-dimensional piece of shit. There was no hotblood, no Hayato being an insane fucker, NONE OF WHAT MADE THE ORIGINAL AWESOME.
Although he wasn't Devilman.

Cutie Honey anime still had most of the characters the same...minus the lesbianism of most of Honey's school.
AND she lives happily ever after with her lesbian lover.
Okay, now I REALLY want to watch (nice timing with that pic, too).
But, I didn't know there were multiple Cutie Honeys! All right. I'm interested in this Cutie Honey thing, so... how many series are there, which series are better to watch, and how easy is it to find subs?
That IS much closer to the original designs but I still prefer RE's style.
>minus the lesbianism of most of Honey's school.
FUCK YEAH TOEI
I shudder to think what the Devilman anime was like. You know, since the original involved the main characters massacring huge amounts of hippies and tons of children being killed in various gory ways. HOW THE FUCK DID THEY HANDLE THAT?
RE: Cutie Honey's my personal favorite, but I'm sure everyone else will recommend Flash due to nostalgia
Original Devilman TV anime was actually concived of FIRST by Go Nagai, who wanted to do an anime with an anti-hero of sorts with demons. The manga is a completely different story.
In the TV anime, Akira is killed by Devilman (not called Amon, just "Devilman", that's his name) along with his father at the very start of the series. Devilman posesses Akira and intends to pose as him, having orders to destroy human civilization. After a short ammount of time Zenon (demon's leader in this version, there is no Satan) realizes that the humans are still around and sends a demon (demons in this series don't posess humans, they just go around and fuck shit up) to investigate. Devilman is found living life as Akira Fudo and not destroying humanity because he's fallen in love with Miki, and destroying humanity would probably hurt his chances with her. The most he's done against humanity is beat up kids at school (seriously, Devilman beats up people who are just mostly minding their own business, he's a bully, although Miki usually gets him to stop by hitting him) and breaking various traffic laws on his motorcycle. Devilman turns into his devil form then gets giant to fight the demon, and kills it. The rest of the series follows a monster of the week format, with Devilman fighting and killing some demon or another in each episode. At the end, Miki finds out that Devilman is a demon, but since he's protecting her she still loves him. After that it basically goes on to say that Devilman would fight more demons as Zenon would keep sending them after him, but the series ends there.
Really, it was actually pretty good. It had a large influence on later action anime and was one of the first of it's kind.
then the world ends and he's reborn as Violence Jack or summin
That's the manga version. Violence Jack is awesome, I wish they translated more than just 2 chapters.
Nagai should remake some of his early 70s work, everything drawn by Ken Ishikawa was QUALITY as hell back then. Lol 6 fingers.
The stories of each series stand alone so you can start with anyone. Here's what I've seen and enjoyed:
Re: Cutie Honey - a good introduction to the character, short and sweet at three 50 minute episodes.
New Cutie Honey - Rad 90's OVA series with eight episodes. You can probably get it on DVD fairly cheap.
Cutie Honey The Live: Gutbustingly funny and action packed. I highly reccomend it, though super ditzy Honey may take getting used to. It's been subbed up to episode 21 (of 26) by SailorSpork.org in .avi and .mkv format.
