Just finished watching Zetsuen no Tempest, why does no one ever talk about it? Imo it was pretty good
Late by a year bro.
in before time paradox shenanigans
It was good. Aika and Yoshino were easily the best girl and best boy respectively of 2012/2013.
/a/ talked about ZnT plenty. You probably weren't here. There were a fuck load of threads about it. ZnT isn't a universally liked anime on /a/, but it has its good points. The beginning had one too many flashbacks, but it was a pretty solid series. Especially the fact that for once, the MC(s) didn't have an unlimited source of power/magic, and actually had to use it wisely and rely on charms that were enchanted with the princesses magic. That was a pretty nice concept.
What did you think of the series overall? I gave it a fair 6/10. It would be average at 5/10 for me if not for the fact that the magic was actually limited by logical rules and that not everything went perfectly how they do in most anime these days. There were actually some problems that popped up that kept it believable and watchable
Because it was shit.
The second half wasn't that good in my opinion, but Hakase kept me hooked to the end. It was all-in-all an interesting series that got me to read some Shakespeare. 7/10
>Not god tier
Aika's fucking top tier.
Second part was complete shit. I liked it at first, but the show kept hitting the wrong notes with incredible persistence until I stopped giving a shit.
I guess I can understand people liking it, it wasn't for me. I'm not that hot on magical trees.
Not that guy, but Hakase´s romantic period was really annoying, like they were trying really hard to make her cute. Aika was fine, but the rest of the show was really weak.
Doesn't matter, 2 episodes of full Aika made up for it.
>implying you have to try to make Hakase cute
