FFF WHERE ARE MY SUBS
Get the glorious A+ subs instead.
they don't have the raws yet
nyaa circlejerk is the worst
>implying A+ means anything when Commie devs give it to their own releases
Although Commie is actually the best group to go with for this series.
>Not getting A+ tier Commie subs
What are you, a pleb? It's the best TL available. Just ask Daiz and his cronies on Nyaa.
You mean EveTaku?
Commie subs everything and does it all on time.
Commie confirmed for best sub group.
It's easy to release things quickly when you don't put any effort into them.
>muh honorifics and karaoke
Only weebs use groups such as FFF when there's a better, honorific- and karaokeless release by Commie.
But they do put effort to make sure there are no weeaboo shit honorifics.
God bless america
There are no honorifics in the Aniplex script to begin with.
They were good with Monogatari S2, and shows that they don't give a shit about.
>shit subs for a shit show
I fail to see what the problem is.
>Watching shit from Commie
I don't watch their shit out principal. I don't trust a group that still has shit-tier editors like Shirt and Brainchild working for it to be able to release anything decent.
>Late on Noragami, Saki, Witch Craft Works, Nisekoi and Hoozuki
>Release episode for a show last season
Why do they pick up so many titles?
>not the best editor ever
Get a load of this faggot.
So.... how well is this show going to sell? I really hope it does well, since I'm starting to like Chitoge aka best Nisekoi
Yeah, Herkz has some great contraction skills.
The only good thing about this show is that RPG-like tune.
I watched Commie for episode 2. They were pretty good.
Then I watched Evetaku, which were way less literal and way more changed and yet people loved them more than Commie.
So basically the subs themselves don't really matter, just the group name, as far as criticism goes?
Commie has a lot of haters, mostly because they're 'too liberal' and don't include karaoke/honorifics.
To summarize, most weebs hate Commie.
Maybe if you're fresh from /v/ or reddit.
People hate Commie because muh honorifics but love Evetaku because no one knows who they are despite the fact that they are Chirio bad besides their one decent translator.
No, I'm just not a hipster.
>but love Evetaku because no one knows who they are
Of course people know who they are. What an absurd comment. As much as they do Commie, anyway.
And people don't dislike Commie because of the lack of honorofics and Kara. People dislike them because they barely edit simulcast scripts, insert memes into them, or make stupid fucking edits that ruin the release.
>People dislike them because they barely edit simulcast scripts, insert memes into them, or make stupid fucking edits that ruin the release.
Thing is, I can remember only like 2-3 distinct examples of this. All that among dozens of anime they sub every season.
And you know, every group sometimes has stupid mistakes and/or shitty translations.
I don't even want to defend Commie specifically. It's just that other groups can be just as bad.
And actually I don't agree that people know who fansub groups are. Ask people to name some editors and/or translators from groups.
FFF are one of the slowest subbers known to man. They're still doing Non Non Biyori.
If you're using them for anything time-sensitive, you're insane.
>FFF are one of the slowest subbers known to man.
There have been plenty of slower subbers. You kids are spoiled.
No doubt they are slower at times but they also release a whole bunch of other stuff, it's not as though they're only working on the weekly shows.
Commie devs hard at work ITT. I'm not downloading shit with localization and flying subs. Fuck all of that.
>it's not as though they're only working on the weekly shows
But that is all they're subbing, the big groups don't work on old shows and FFF's BD projects are all using subs that already exist so they don't have to put much effort into it.
>people say Commie are actually okay
>'OMG COMMIE DEVS PLS GO'
Sasuga Commie haters.
But those missing lines were made into a proper graphical effect, retard. Nice cherry picking.
What's with the two deleted lines? Were they signs or something?
>using Japanese words in English sentences
Fucking weeaboo Commie lover.
...Wait, that doesn't sound right.
A+ release. Look at all that hard work and effort.
Maymays don't count.
What is wrong with that?
It feels neutral. Pointless to add, but not really damaging.
This actually made me laugh.
>why are my high school gang members talking like high school gang members
So it's fine to just copy aniplex/funi/crunchy scripts and call it your own if you add in "monkey aids" and typesetting? Are standards really that fucking low?
Depends whose standards they are. Anyone with a brain will recognize that's a shit effort. The Commie/Nyaa staff members will deem it an A+ release and the mass of retards who only want the quickest release will think it's fine. Many will think the addition of needless memes is hilarious.
>Are standards really that fucking low?
Yes, for quite some time.
>Yes, the translation I use comes from CR. I've never tried to hide this fact. One thing worth noting is that I rip the script directly from CrunchyRoll, I don't get them via HorribleSubs. This allows me to always get the latest script that's up on CR, meaning if an early revision like the one with "missinglines" accidentally goes live it's easy for me to get the fixed version when it goes up, which is something you can't do if you rely on HorribleSubs alone.
Glad you agree that Commie localizes and adds retarded shit like flying subs and ebin maymays.
Actually, FFF are one of the few BD subbers that actually put work into their BDs.
They /retime/, /QC/ and /fix/ the typesetting.
Just look at the releases by other BD subbers, like Coalgirls and DmonHiro.
They just shift the entire script by a few frames and release.
This leads to everything being off by a few frames, broken typesetting and the original's mistakes STILL being in the BD release.
But, if you grab the FFF release, you get all of the above fixed.
Don't believe me? Go check out Dmon's and FFF's Minami-ke releases, or compare FFF's and Final8's Chuunibyous.
You're making assumptions, that's your fucking problem.
FFF are too lazy to QC the fucking scripts they use for BDs. You want proof? Watch their RDG BD release. All the silly fucking mistakes they made on the original script still remain.
sasuga, commie devs
My point still stands.
They're still one of the better BD groups out there who actually do things to the script.
You can try comparing the scripts other groups put out, and you'll see.
I think BBT has comparisons for most of them.
The problem is that everyone judges a release solely on the reputation of the group name attached to it. Everyone is too fucking lazy or ignorant to bother watching the releases and making their own decisions. They just go with the hivemind for everything, because they can't think for themselves.
FFF is one of the big popular groups, so of course it could do no wrong, right? They must be the best.
Why the fuck would you watch RDG? That show was dogshit and the only faggot that liked it was lelouch
And reputation is gained from them have made good releases in the past.
All the popular groups have had their good and their not so good releases.
Going with one of the popular groups does guarantee you'll get a better release than from a group with a terrible reputation, like the likes of Hadena or Coalgirls.
It's like buying computers in real life. You're bound to get a decent useable PC if you go with DELL or HP.
Ultimately, you'll have to compare releases yourself to get the best release.
See, I knew I'd get this response.
>"Well, that show was shit anyway, so it doesn't matter."
If the show was so shit that they couldn't be fucked QCing the script, why did they bother releasing BDs for it? Obviously, they can't be as good as people claim if they pick up projects only to do a half-assed job of them.
I've seen these sorts of errors throughout FFF's TV scripts. Generally, I assume they clear them up before releasing the BDs, but I am now getting the feeling that that is probably not the case.
The show being garbage doesn't excuse this. Do it well, or don't do it at all.
Also, I think that you should go point this out to Eien on IRC or comment on FFF's RDG batch post.
They usually fix their batches if someone points out mistakes still present.
People called them out for Aquarion EVOL encode corruptions a year after they've released their batch and they issued a new batch without the corruptions.
The same guy called Final8 out on it and Final8 quite literally told him to fuck off and deal with it.
Why should I? I don't work for them.
They're a top-tier BD release group that QC all their scripts, after all.
Why do we still call commie and other such groups makers of 'fansubs' and not edits?
In 2 weeks.
It's Evetaku. Waiting a week is standard.
Jesus christ this got an anime
I was hoping it'd get unpopular so the author would axe it to... you know... GIVE IT SOME FUCKING CLOSURE OR HAVE ANYTHING HAPPEN
Seriously getting tired of this shit.
>people are not allowed to use an elipsis on 4chan anymore
I used it twice in the fucking post that's nothing to get autistic about
That's not how they're used. All you had to do was add a fucking comma between those words.
It's a harem anon, it's going nowhere slowly and it's going to end with nothing resolved. Still, it's entertaining as long as you don't yearn for closure.
Yeah?! Well... Fuck you.
It's not even closure I want, just some progress.
The plot premise is simplistic as fuck but the added "twists" and characters just make me cringe every time. You get a key! You get a key! Everyone gets a key! Also here's one of the girls little sister why the fuck not?
And the goddamn ever-present constantly reminded key - lock / penis - vagina symbolism.
Are you some english fucking major or something? If I want to emphasize a pause between words, I'll use a goddamn elipsis as much as god damn please.
Boy, you sure showed me.
>Are you some english fucking major or something?
Why are you so worked up, friend? I was just pointing out an error you made.
>If I want to emphasize a pause between words, I'll use a goddamn elipsis as much as god damn please.
That doesn't make it right, though.
