Are you as upset as I am about how abruptly that series ended, OP?
There was a thread about disappointing endings.
I was going to post this in it... but then I felt it required its own thread.
Because, well, you know.
Only "great" moment of this series and it only happened because the series was getting cancelled.
Author himself said the very concept of the series was broken because MC had no freedom of movement.
Oh boy I remember seeing this pic in a rage thread.
I'm not reading this after what I heard.
Memory wipe beach end
Almost as bad a pie end
W-well, at least there's that other girl tha-
>another memory wipe
Fuck WSJ, I can't trust them anymore. Every new serialization I get attached to gets axed. Hell, even popular ones get cancelled. Fuck Shueisha.
I remember reading somewhere that the author just got himself into a corner with the mirror. At least in the extra chapter he went all out with the fan service, I forgot how much I miss this manga.
>mfw she didn't win
>mfw a shitty generic pink haired bitch was the main heroine
>mfw it ended so soon
Granted with a plot like that it was bound to go almost nowhere
I know the manga was very poorly planned, but Saki was true love.
Author ended it himself. The plot device kinda limited a ton of shit, and would have gotten old very quickly, so it's better to end it right instead of getting axed.
How do you write yourself into a corner and not even be 30 chapters in? You'd think he'd have planned it out further than that before even starting the manga. There's just not excuse for that other than just being a really shitty writer.
>so it's better to end it right instead of getting axed.
It would have been okay if he actually did that, but no. It was a piss poor ending, even if it was getting canceled. He just didn't care anymore.
Matsukawa was pretty generic herself until the confession, though.
