Anyone else think that Mnemosyne has crossed the line when it comes to how much erotic material can be in an anime without being a hentai?

I mean, its to the point for me where its just distracting and annoying now.
>>
that's the only thing worth watching it for so who cares.

they should have just gone full-on ero.
>>
>>10063232
They will in Episode 3. Just watch.
>>
Well when I'm looking for porn next time I'll know what to download.

Shit, right?
>>
>>10063261
Old computer is FUCKING OLD!!!
>>
Considering the storyline is rather jagged and doesn't have good flow, the characterization is hard to get behind, and they have issues it seems developing in any semblance of an explanation as to what the fuck is happening. I think that all this fan-service and gore is perfect, it's the only thing keeping me watching.

Mimi is my waifu
>>
>>10063271
must've been a badass computer back in the day
128megs of memory then is like 8gigs today

>"erotic material"
>"distracting and annoying"

underage B&
>>
>>10063355

Wouldn't someone underage love the stuff?
>>
>>10063355
underage b& kids love this!
fanservice + violence fuck yes! better than elfen lied!
>>
I thought the first Mnemosyne was a hentai without the sex. This pissed me off and I stopped watching.

Is it better now?
>>
>>10063375
>>10063392

No. They want to appear to be older, so they take a stance that they think makes them look mature.
>>
>>10063432

I think you're overestimating their intelligence.
>>
>>10063432
>I enjoy assigning asinine intentions to people I've never met when my points about them are shown to make little sense. This is because I'm immature and will never back down when I'm clearly wrong.
>>
I was bored with Mnemosyne ep 2. I guess it was worth it though to see some green-haired, cop-girl's boobs.
The one fight in the park was OK though. Surprise bomb out of chest ftw!
>>
Hm, lets see. The main character is naked in both the opening and ending for the majority of both. She and her assistant take "Best Friends Forever" to an extreme of both the words 'Friends and 'Forever'. She has slept with both a man and a woman to gain information. Torture seems to involve sexual actions at all times, and.. a guy got ripped apart while eating out a chick. Nah. Not overly erotic at all.
>>
Can't you faggots stop complaining for one second.

This shit is all around entertaining, what more can you ask for.
>>
>>10063761
A better plot.
>>
All hentai are ovas. Any ova can have gratuitous amounts of violence and nudity, but to the point where it becomes complete sex is when it's hentai.

Something like Shadow is a good example. It had nudity here and there, but it focuses more on the killing.
>>
>>10063800
Plot isnt important if you have enough fanservice, tripfag.
>>
>>10063812
Underage faggots like yourself only care about fanservice.
>>
>>10063761
every anime these days are like that.
this showed a little promise of having some depth to the plot, but turns out it is just pointless fanservice.
>>
Didn't you guys get the memo? Fanservice has a higher priority than having a good story.
>>
In terms of entertainment, I vastly prefer Mnemosyne's erotic content to what might replace it, like frivolous 'lolmindfuck' BS, or powerlevel dissertations, or flash-frame fighting.
>>
>>10063812
If you want fanservice, it's called "porn."
>>
>>10063850

seconded
>>
You can do a bit with adult themes. However, the freedom of a mature themed anime was pretty much wasted on this show.

Now it's just nudity, gore, and a plot that doesn't make much sense. The lesbian "lick the information out of my snatch" scene was pretty amusing though.

Legacy system in my animu?

and fuck yeah I remember the days when I had a 386mhz computer or something. cd roms WERE THE NEW BLAZING TECH AND MONKEY ISLAND WAS THE HOLY GRAIL OF GAMING

actually I think it still is
>>
>>10063812
At first I was about to type "LOL FAIL", but then I realised you're right. It the type of animu that should care about only the main matter, fanservice, and it does. So?
>>
>>10063898
the story is set in 1991
>>
>>10063941
pretty sure its still a shitty computer by 1991 standards
>>
>>10063988

128MB of RAM was a shitload 17 years ago.
>>
>>10063988
the first pc i bought was in 1995 it had 32mb of ram, at the time 16 was the min 32 was average 64 was good and 128 was luxury
>>
>>10063941
They dont dress like they were from the 90s.
>>
>>10064058
No way was 1991 17 years ago.
It's only 2008. Oh. Lol what
>>
>>10064183
im pretty sure lesbians did dress like that back then.
>>
>>10063988
no. in fact, i don't think computers like this even existed in 1991, at the PC level anyway. you'd have to have a mainframe to put 128MB RAM in a single computer.
>>
So there's lesbians in this?
>>
>>10064251
The 386 was produced since 1986, according to wikipedia, and Apple was making home computer since before 1991 for sure.
>>
>>10064315
PCs existed in 1991. PCs with 128MB of RAM did not exist in 1991. That's what I was saying.
>>
>> I mean, its to the point for me where its just distracting and annoying now.

Distracting you from ... what exactly ?
>>
>>10064259
Yes.
>>
Bill Gates 1993 :

>> I laid out memory so the bottom 640K was general purpose RAM and the upper 384 I reserved for video and ROM, and things like that. That is why they talk about the 640K limit. It is actually a limit, not of the software, in any way, shape, or form, it is the limit of the microprocessor. That thing generates addresses, 20-bits addresses, that only can address a megabyte of memory. And, therefore, all the applications are tied to that limit. It was ten times what we had before. But to my surprise, we ran out of that address base for applications within—oh five or six years people were complaining.
>>
>>10064337
Oh, ok. Nevermind then, you're right.
>>
>>10064344 Distracting you from ... what exactly ?

Daydreams about giant throbbing cocks.
>>
If the angels and immortals storyline is anything to go by, this show is nothing but a metaphor hot sex.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

There has never been a 16-bit computer which could take 128MiB of RAM. The 286 can't handle more than 16MiB (nor could the 386SX), nor can the 68000.

Even though the later 32-bit CPUs could theoretically handle 4GiB, PC motherboards which could take 128MiB of RAM didn't appear until at least the Pentium, maybe Pentium-Pro.

I remember getting some of the first Pentium-based systems in 1994, and those could only take 32MiB of RAM: 4 slots, with 8MiB in each. The first 16MiB modules didn't appear for a couple of years after that.
