Nameless subs are out.
Nameless a shit.
What's Nonon doing there?
Looks like grown up Nonon
>you will never have your first kiss
>honoka is 6th
I like the manga's art better.
Takamiya looks so cool.
I don't like Rie's voice on her.
Why is Nonon in another anime?
I think it fits perfectly.
Should I go with nameless? Is it decent?
Hell yeah he is.
I hope that JC Staff will do him justice.
No, none of this is as shit as KlK.
Some weird shit but overall it's okay.
About as decent as the work of someone who refuses to attach their name to their work.
Was she in SA or something?
So are they going to make Imouto chapter last a whole episode, or are we getting Medusa?
It's so-so, but I'd go with anything that doesn't call Tanpopo a furry.
So he finds amazing power in himself and becomes Naruto? Really?
She's near 700 year old.
Nope. Kagari still saves the day.
He's still just a princess in the end.
No, he's just a mana battery, he doesn't fight on his own.
What do you think the White Stuff is? It's in him from the start, but Ayaka draws it because of their connection. That's also why she is so OP.
He can't fight for shit, he's had no time to train, so he just supplies mana to his allies (mostly Kagari) and they save the day.
Totally forgot that she shows up here.
Yeah he even changes his name to Naruto, and Kagari becomes Sasuke, you might aswell just drop it now
Well, asshole teacher erased both their memories from their childhood, so hopefully he returns them when weekend is defeated.
It's odd because at this point I'm not sure if the white stuff is evermillion or not. It seems like it's some great source of power, but why is evermillion inside him as well?
Wasn't Evermillion called the white witch or something?
replicating the manga art completely would probably require something like ova-tier budget.
at least they managed to somewhat capture the feeling of spotting something unusual from the corner of ones eye, giving the sense of the magical being ever present in the world but just slightly out of sight for the muggles.. For example, Kotetsu was in the crowd of students walking into the gym.
I hope to see some doujins where he supplies mana to the tower witches
I wasn't expecting green, but it's not as bad as it seems.
Why is Evermillion not on this list.
Yes, she IS called the white witch, not "was", nothing happened to her.
Evermillion is the white stuff.
Looks like it's an anime poll only. Evermillion doesn't show up yet.
>He gives more mana the more intimate he gets with a girl
>All the witches do cute/lewd things with him for more power
Because that's witches in the anime as of episode 2.
Kagari partially channelling Evermilion in this episode doesn't count.
That ain't bad, looks pretty good
This is the manga page
Are they gonna fuck? Or is there gonna be some bullshit reason like shes not a real person, or apart of him or she dies.
Why doesn't anyone in Anime fuck?
If Honoka and Ayaka fuck, Ayaka will destroy the world
They should've animated her sitting on the dragon's tale instead of standing. Looks way more majestic.
They got the blood spurt in there too, but had it burn up in the closeup in the leftmost panel there.
Worth it though.
Why aren't there more male witches?
Or wizards, I guess.
Glasses and Takamiya isn't enough for me.
Read the mango or wait dammit.
I'm positively surprised with how well JC Staff handles it. Obviously, there are subpar scenes, like flying in the last episode, but I imagine that it could be worse, so I'm satisfied with what we've got. Chronoir's introduction was pretty good, and that's what matters for me.
She gets a boost of power the closer they are emotionally to each other. And I mean even SLIGHTLY close acts are enough for her to be more overpowered than usual.
Them fucking could potentially cause the formation of a new star right in the middle of the city.
Have you not seen how strong she gets by cleaning his ear while giving him a thigh pillow, or wearing his shirt? If they fuck, Ayaka will become Evermillion and destroy the world
I knew there would be some bullshit reason though
Being Kazane is suffering.
Keep the world in tact or get laid? Toughie.
Because wizards/male witches are weaker than female witches. So not many get to be apprentices to a wizard ir witch
They are also low in the witch hierarchy, which wouldn't be to favourable for some
The Earth couldn't possible take it.
This is bull shit. When are we going to get cute magical boys?
I like how she didn't notice two of the seals breaking because she was to busy blaming Medusa and Chronoir.
Sure was blown away.
Witch society is a matriarchy.
Damn, was supposed to quote >>100625168
I would hate to be him. He wouldn't even be allowed to have sex with another woman, with the risk of Ayaka killing the chick and injuring Honoka.
The only other woman he has a chance with is Kasumi, and I don't think Honoka would do incest. Kasumi is the only woman Ayaka puts up with
That's not even close to an SA uniform, the hat's even wrong.
Well she's dumb.
You sure males are weaker?
Mikage seems quiet competent and have an important role. Even takes out one of Weekend underling by himself. I'll give you that Witch society is a matriarchal though.
Is there even enough material for an anime?
The manga doesn't seem like it has much released yet.
He call himself a mage though. Maybe this is a different organization.
Hard to say if they are because we haven't seen many wizards. You can't use Honoka as an example because he has Evermillion inside him.
Physically they would be stronger but I think there was somewhere in the manga that said wizards aren't as powerful magically.
Enough for one cour, and at the current pace then there's even a natural chapter to end this cour. almust as if the author wanted to make sure j.c. staff didn't fuck it up with an original ending.
No he's part of a witch family, and the workshop witches.
I think it's more that males have a much less chance at using magic or whatever, that's why there are so many witches and only a few mages.
Anime is ending right after the Weekend arc. Manga is only like 3/4 chapters past it, so they won't animate past it
Maybe that is what male witches are called instead of wizard or witch. He is a part of the workshop so he is definitely a witch
I have a feeling that he's not necessarily okay with his status, that's why he conspires with Chronoir to hide Takamiya.
This is the norm in pretty much every culture on the planet.
When it comes to the spiritual/mystical/dark magic stuff females > males.
What kind of dastardly, insidious, profligate whore tries to steal a man's first kiss when his OTP waifu is right next to him.
he identify himself as part of a witch clan.
That said, I can imagine that a significant amount of male spellcaster are tower wizards, so to speak.
I don't really remember that mentioned any where. the only place where wizards really get discussed i the context of their relation to witches, is when Honoka talks with Mikage, as far as I remember.
I'm pretty sure there is a reason why there are swarms of witches but very few male magic users.
Men are canonically shit at magic.
Also the author likes drawing cute girls with goofy hairdos.
I feel like there are too many witches in this show. Like 2-3 witches show up every episode and they are all irrelevant.
Pick one m8
I think men aren't taught magic or something. The teacher's power seems to be something he gained through his own work/research - remember, he called it science?
Men are shit with magic, unless they are old, and I mean fucking old. Women are great with magic whenever.
I'm sure he was lying. He is the mage who erase memory. You can do that shit with SCIENCE.
Well, as long as she makes an appearance later and doesn't get blasted off again Team Rocket style, i'll be happy.
not arguing against there being a reason that male magic users are more rare, it just doesn't necessarily mean those who are around, are weaker then their witch equivalent, which >>100625194 have presented as a fact.
Mikage is our only example so far, but he manages to fight and subdue a witch that was strong or skilled enough to break into his sanctuary. Considering that one of Weekends underling could match Kasumi punch for punch, then he's at the very least above Kasumis level.
They aren't taught magic because the witches take on other females more than men because women are more important and most likely stronger with magic.
He was an apprentice, but most likely learnt some magic himself and just wanted to tease Honoka and Ayaka
She looks like she was drawn by Tsukino Jyogi
>then he's at the very least above Kasumis level.
forgot to add: assuming off course that Weekends underlings is roughly equally skilled.
To be fair, Kasumi is still an apprentice. And if your example proves anything, it will show that once Kasumi is no longer an apprentice, she will most likely be stronger Mikage
We should remember that he had to fight that Tower witch while protecting civilians. Even if he had some troubles with her, that was quite a handicap.
Wow the cg is awful in this episode.
He has 2 girls with him didn't he?
>Kasumi is still an apprentice
ah, good point and a properly trained Kasumi might very well be stronger then Mikage.
Infact, now that you point it out, Kasumi might already out-match Mikage in sheer raw power. Mikage might simple have more experience and training while Kasumi is pretty straight forward in her approach to problems. As expected of Rinons apprentice.
Probably familiars, like Medusa's catlolis.
I think they are closer to being his familiars, as much an extension of his strength, as Meis wolf is an extension of her strength.
Is she a phoenix?
No, she is a human but when Honoka is near her she is made out of fire or becomes a fire demon and is immortal
I like how self aware the story can be at time of how these things usually go and adds small twist to it.
>mc acts dense
>other character actually comments on it
>actually questions why someone as dangerous as him isn't locked away
>gets explained that living like that, would be to submit to evil, which justify the school setting.
I wish there was more of them forever.
Id actually watch a series just about the tower withes and their miserable hijinks.
Takamiya should date Medusa instead.
Whoa. I did not realize you could see Tanpopo's pantsu in that shot.
Honestly, is it even worth it to wait for FFF? The sub's weren't very good last episode and the wait is obnoxious. Actually, when does this even air? I didn't want to go with HS because I have been a fan of the manga and I wanted decent/good sub's for the anime but I just don't know anymore.
Horrible releases on Wednesdays. FFF usually releases before that.
It airs on Sundays, and Nameless is good enough honestly.
thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you
>there are things you don't need to know
>I will shield you with my body which is actually your only weakness because you didn't tell me for some reason
Kagari is shy as fuck man.
Why green flames?
Does Honoka become useful later or is he always the damsel in distress?
red > green > blue > white
that is like standard flame evolution
I thought blue was stronger since its the color you see at the rear of jet planes.
not really he only just started magic training but everything gets crazy before he can learn anything, he becomes more of a battery than a damsel though.
>I thought blue was stronger since its the color you see at the rear of jet planes.
Blue is the last colour you can actually see. "White flame" just means transparent flame.
In Bunsen Burners when you turn it to max, the fire become invisible. When on standby, you turn it down to blue to make it safe, so other people know it is lit.
If I recall correctly, the fuel used on some race cars, if burned, becomes an invisible flame.
Going to need a source on this, i don't remember this ever been stated
>If I recall correctly, the fuel used on some race cars, if burned, becomes an invisible flame.
Essentially the colours came from incomplete combustion, generating carbon compounds that THEN burn to create colours. So if your fuel is burnt at the most efficient state the flame should be "white" in that you can't see it.
Nitrous-methane as used in American "Top Fuel" dragsters appears to burn white coming out of the exhaust pipes. It's not actually the fuel that's burning though - As I recall, ambient hydrogen in the air close to the exhaust stacks spontaneously ignites from the heat, leading to the white flame.
>Going to need a source on this, i don't remember this ever been stated
Officially we were told that men are unimportant in the Matriarchal Witch society. The male teacher insist he doesn't use real magic, just imitation science. But other than that everything else would have to be guessed.
You are right, it hasn't been stated. I seem to recall something like "even if a man is powerful, it doesn't matter"
They're speculating based on popular folketale and shit.
Like this guy said >>100638319 we're not sure how many males there are that can use magic because all we have is the male teacher who is weird.
I'm sure it's because the author prefers drawing girls / wants a story filled with girl character, and we're just going to get a weak explanation.
Personally I think it's part of the joke that Honoka is the "princess" and surrounded by people of the opposite gender all the time.
Nothing like that is stated anywhere, the only real information is that male magic users basically get zero awknowledgement.
The teacher calls his magic science but it is still obviously magic. Other then Honoka there isn't any other male magic users revealed and nothing else gets said about it.
>Nothing like that is stated anywhere, the only real information is that male magic users basically get zero awknowledgement.
>The teacher calls his magic science but it is still obviously magic. Other then Honoka there isn't any other male magic users revealed and nothing else gets said about it.
Note that despite being a matriarchal society, witches do NOT use men as servants. Servitude is usually the jobs of the Familiars. This means men really aren't needed for day-to-day activities. Magic is too handy and as such men don't even get to be lower-class. They just hang around, doing nothing much.
The only good thing about this show is the ending.
I'm glad my favourite girl made another apparition
Why? It's decent adaptation, fire animation stopped bothering after first episode, cgi is fast and usually cleverly done, bunnies were well animated.
>They just hang around, doing nothing much.
Not necessarily, the only male mage we know of is incredibly useful to the entire workshop witch organization. He was the one who erased Ayaka and Honoka's memories about important shit. He just doesn't have any influence in his house because he's male.
So I think it's more that men are much more rare as mages, and those that exist are just lesser class.
That's not to say they aren't useful and loyal to whatever their a part of, in teachers case his house and the workshop witches.
It may be a good adaptation, but that doesn't make it a good show.
look at you with your hotshot opinions
Appearance. Apparition is for like ghosts n shit.
she will be a ghost soon ;_;
people don't die
the city was fucking leveled and people didn't die
weekend strapped a chain of fucking grenades to her chest and didn't die
I meant that we won't see her much in future episodes.
why does he call himself a mage instead of calling himself a wizard? and whats the diffrence between the two?
Why do you call yourself human instead of homo sapien?
