Ive noticed that I absolutely love anime that takes place in japanese rural towns, so I want you guys to help me make a list of anime that takes in the country.
so far, I have:
Yosuga no sora
Non non biyori
Sora no otoshimono
those are the ones I remember right now, but I know there are tons im missing.
Shingeki no Kyojin
Gin no Saji.
ITT: Thinly veiled recommendations.
Boku no Pico
Truth, chico takes place in da country
I loved the snowy town in Kanon.
For once this is legit suggestion
3rd OVA doesn't
Meh, not like a /v/ermin would want to watch farm anime.
1- Beach town
2- Rural town
3- da city
Truly pico is the most complete series
Agreed. Jintai is pretty cozy too.
Maybe Lamune? Only watched the first episode so far and it was some time ago but iirc it is in a really small town or something.
Totoro. But that maybe too far in that direction.
looks mue, will pick da fuck up
goddam I just remembered softenni
From what I have seen Ghibli movies usually goes all around.
And correct me if I am wrong but I think Mushishi too since he is always traveling around those places?
I'm pretty sure he's straightforwardly asking for recommendations. I almost certain he isn't even embarassed or feeling bad about it.
Only Yesterday will make you wish you lived in the country side.
Hyouka. If you aren't watching closely, you might miss just how small the world the MC lives in is.
But how small his world is, despite how smart he is, is part of the point
Natsume Yuujinchou was fairly rural.
Also the one about the two sisters where the little one gets possessed by demons every fucking episode.
