Yato probably doesn't realise that a random dude dead at the tracks means the line will be halted to allow access to the body by police and paramedics. While time have to be spent retreiving the body or pieces of it, more time-consuming would be triplicate paper works documenting the time and circumstances of incident, and the rationale that this is a suicide and not to set up a crime scene.
This means workers, businessmen, shoppers are forced to delay their travel, causing loss in productivity and precious time.
And who knows how sad the family will be, that's for the officer dispatched to the dead person's address to find out.
