I just got the most bizarre idea ever.
Dio becomes vampire jesus and starts draining the original sin out of people. Then he unlocks The World's true function: containing the powers of every Joestar stand.
Utilizing Crazy Diamond's ability to repair things, he takes the sin he has gathered and uses it as a seed to rebuild the fruit of knowledge.
Everybody in the world turns into tang.
Is the newest Jojolion translated yet?
At least post the newest chapter, faggot
Those are some menacing chestnuts
>I'm just about to start part 5
I'll catch up one of these days guys ;_;
I started reading one month ago
Get ready for not understandings
Why didn't you prepare me?
I cried only a 2 times in my life but im overflowing with tears of great sadness at this brothership.
That orchestra in the back hit all the sore spots.
Why didn't first Zeppelis death had as much as impact?
I know that first Zeppeli had less screen time than Caesar, but still.
I don't believe David production will be able to top this scene ever despite having a loto of material.
So what exactly is the deal with Trap-kun's powers? The hell was he doing with the weird saran wrap from his eyes?
There are atleast 20 more characters better than Shitsar with a more emotional death
I think trap kun's stand works like the Emperor, in the shadows, and draws stuff to the point where he touches.
Yeah, but I think they put real emotions in his death and competently reciprocate them.
And I seriously doubt that other deaths are going to get the same orchestra treatment.
Not that is neccessary but they had such a strong bond that it perfectly described it.
That epitaph always gets me.
Have you even read part 3?
Different guy but the only deaths that really upset me were Okuyasu (sort of) and Gyro's. FF was... OK, but I didn't feel any attachment to the guys from 5 and the reason 6 bummed me out was more because of the implications for the Joestars as a whole than out of any attachment for the characters themselves. They didn't have much cohesion as a group, just a bunch of guys who have Jolyne as a teammate in common.
Jo2uke is Koichi Hirose + Joshikage Kira
(sfx) + (explosion) = Soft & Wet bubbles
No, I just finished episode 20 of the anime.
I can't judge before I see it, it will be a fun ride but once I finish the anime. I will read the manga back from phantom blood for maximum amount of enjoyment.
All I was saying is that the scene captivated me so much because it is the first time literally in maybe 9 or 10 years that I've shed tears.
Don't know if the rest of the series will have same impact on me though.
I know. Part 3 wasn't even that good in the deaths department but his statement made me believe that he wasn't even close to understanding how Jojo works.
I think if part 5 was better translated the deaths would have made much more impact, mostly Narancia and Abacchio's
>Okuyasu (sort of)
Don't make conclusions before knowing the source then bro.
If you shed tears for that guy even Iggy will make you cry like a bitch
Abbachio's maybe. But Narancia's was just flat-out retarded. And while Bruno was an alright guy his death at the end after all the shit with Requiem went over didn't do much for me.
>my flesh is sucking them in
What do I not exactly understand?
Is there some kind of mechanism to it or what?
I may not understand it,but I don't really think there is some sort of guidelined path to JoJo?
Iggy's death wasn't that great though. Kakyoin's was the only good one in 3.
Hol Horse's stand was Emperor, the gun with the homing bullets. You're thinking of The Hanged Man.
Narancia's death was sad in the sense of "no matter what you'll be dead soon" kind of sense.
How many can you get? If you don't get 100%, plebest of plebs.
I shouldn't have come here while I'm in the process of reading part 5.
it could be much worse
You are right.
What if Trap-kun's stand is a mix of Hanged Man and Bastet, but instead of an outlet it requires a touch, and only affects plants?
It's not only plants. The flowerpots stuck to the two of them as well. You're probably right, but we'll have to see. Knowing Araki, it probably has something to do with 「Gravity」.
You're not missing anything even if you didn't know. Nothing that happens in Part 5 has an impact on future events, the most it adds to the verse is show where the arrows came from.
Yeezus Stand when?
Made in Heaven? Or what is your definition of a mesiah?
Maybe Crazy Diamond if you are thinking about healing stuff.
When we get a Daft Punk stand.
Well, I was referring to this and since we already had a Dimension-hopping stand, I'd like for one that allows you to go between universes.
universe hopping is the president's stand, D4C.
I don't think Araki likes Kanye west though.
You never know. There's California King Bed after all. Although if he did name a Stand "Yeezus," I'd be disgusted.
Not like he asn't done this before.
Is it me or is the shading a little better in this chapter? The crosshatching is still annoyingly thick and uniform but at least there's more variation with the gaps between the lines to make up for it, plus a more judicious range of black and gray tones.
I thought of Vanilla Ice being more of a pun name, since his stand is called "Cream." No explanation for Notorious BIG.
Well, it's a big stand after all.
So, Paisley Park's ability...
Got any guesses? Looks even more confusing that KC so far...
What is he saying, /a/?
Maybe Araki confused Notorious BIG with Tupac.
Maybe he liked some of Biggy's songs
It's a passive stand so far, that only works as a guide, kind of GPSlike. That and that it leads Yasuho to harmless places and situations if needed
>I don't know
>but he's somehow related to Yoshikage Kira
Norisuke is breaking Death Flags here.
Yasuho being the SBR counterpart of Koichi, I figure it may evolve into something actually useful eventually.
It leads the user to the best possible situation or goals?
Isn't gappy Koichi and Kira mixed up?
D'awww Jo2uke looks so cute in this panel.
So did Norisuke just forget about Josuke and Daiya or what?
Well, I was going by the Hirose family name thing.
Daiya already lost to Gappy and he knows that.
>you will never see the original Joestars in the manga again
It's kinda painful.
>the unrequited love Norisuke was talking about is actually Daiya and Gappy
I wonder why we haven't seen Mrs. Higashikata yet. She's still at the house so it can't be that she's with Jobim.
I'm sure part 8 will end with the re-resetting of the universe to a state of normalcy
I was not expecting Norisuke to be this much of a bro.
I am happy with this.
They weren't talking about Yasuho?
You know, Caesar barely had presence within the series. By the time he died, I just didn't care. It didn't help that his death kind of dragged too, that by the time the cross fell on him, I was over it and had already accepted it.
He had the weakest death in his family.
Gyro shits all over him as a fighter and being the dying savior of a Joestar.
I liked him well enough. He was basically the tsukkomi to Joseph and did a good job of it without needing to go slapstick. He left more of an impression on me than Will even if Will did more for Jonathan with his death.
Caesar had an awesome death, if nothing else. Gyro was a much more interesting character than him. Also, Caesar annoys the fuck out of me in ASB.
So has there been any indication to the chapter names for the next JJL tankobon that might indicate what Yagiyama's stand is called?
Caesar's death works better in the anime due to his VA and the BGM. Otherwise, eh.
It was also spoiled by the fucking opening. If I was watching it without having already read the manga then it wouldn't have had nearly as much of an impact since I knew it was gonna happen from the very beginning.
