How will he Kubo us this week?
Personally i think things have been going too well for the Gotei. I was expecting more of them to get rekt.
I think Kubo fell into the same mistake as before. He's good at hyping up things, but bad at delivering. The hype has beeing going down since the second invasion started. It's just fighting and power reveals.
He needs to bring back Aizen to spice it up. Then at least when he's there, even if there is no plot, people will assume that there is.
We haven't had a good Kubo-ing since the dual sword reveal. We need another Kubo shitstorm.
i really was expecting more deaths. but yhwach doesnt seem bothered by it. he says he expected things to go this way which means there must be a contingency plan. I hope hes not just KOing fodder like hitsugay only to kill off the better characters.
he'll deliver. he has thus far in this final arc.
I NEED to post this in case it comes to pass.
It's this theory I've had for months now, but I haven't posted it in fear of derailing the thread and getting endless complaints from you faggots.
Either way, fuck that now.
Here goes: Yhwach as he appears now and the Yhwach of 1000 years are not the same person.
To begin with the idea that mortal realm immortal could exist was preposterous.
Yhwach has existed since ancient times, he has survived by possessing a new body each time his old one expired, which is why Yamamoto failed to kill him.
Supporting this you have two main pieces of information I will present in the following posts.
>I NEED to post this in case it comes to pass.
>Supporting this you have two main pieces of information I will present in the following posts.
hell probably say something along the lines that Quincy-ism is not permanent. And yhwh can freely take back the power of his blood ( like how misaki was weakened ).
We're talking about LoN here, it's not going to be that simple and believable.
The first piece of information can be seen here.
Due to the existence of a single remaining Quincy Mayuri deduced that Yhwach could make a return.
Quincies, a race hunted to extinction by Mayuri himself under the table.
Or perhaps it was with a purpose? If not then why did Yamamoto and the Central 46 completely overlook his gruesome experiments on living souls?
SS is known to be a bag of dicks, but they aren't dicks without purpose.
It is fair to assume here that Mayuri was given free reign because his actions would eventually curb the potential Quincy insurrection with Yhwach at the helm.
you were right
Second you have the named successor to the throne.
Yhwach, a 1000 year old emperor and immortal should not have an issue with age.
Despite his undying nature he still saw it fit to appoint a successor as if he worried for his own well being. Adding insult to injury he ignored the claim of his son who is currently the highest executive of the Vandenreich and fiercely loyal to him.
It's unthinkable that he would want to give up the throne of the world and the afterlife once he conquers Soul Society.
However if you consider him taking over the successor and living on in his body, continuing the bloodline as a possibility then it lends credit to the notion of Yhwach 'stepping down'.
If we consider that he wants to pass on the strongest genes to the next generation then its guaranteed that he will go after someone who doesn't carry the usual Quincy weakness to hollow power.
Someone with potential to exceed him, someone like Uryuu, or Ichigo.
tell me youre not talking about Haschwalth
Also, third you have the existence of a Quincy entity that is seemingly unique to Ichigo.
Who appears in the form of an avatar of the Quincy King's previous incarnation.
This might serve as a 'marker' of possible candidates of sorts.
Considering his high standing in the Vandenreich and likeness to Yhwach it's not completely out of the blue to assume that Haschwalth is his closest 'living' relative.
It can be inferred that Haschwalth served as the de facto leader of Vandenreich in Yhwach's absence and basing his unquestionable authority you have Buzz-Bee who explicitly stated that Haschwalth should meant to be the next King, meaning that Haschwalth is a Prince.
was meant to be the next king*
Or he was simply kept in stasis until he regained his mind.
Or he benefited from having spiritual body after traveling/being moved to SS 1000 years ago. We were never actually told that you have to die to have Shinigami-tier longevity, only that spiritual bodies work quite differently, heavily depending on reiatsu level.
It's a nice theory, but evidence is circumstantial as of now. You basically said that "if a, b and c are understood as x, y and z it could mean that Yhwach jumps bodies". Well, if. I'd still wait for some direct argument.
Is Kenny back yet?
Nah, he's probably lost in the city. Or even Muken if it's still there.
Yeah, but you have to admit that it incorporates many unanswered elements in a coherrent fashion.
They left a man with no sense of direction in an infinite underground chamber with a locked door.
He's probably just wandering around.
He died in an offpanel flashback.
Well, it is a good theory and the required facts can turn out like you wish.
Renji gets KOd by mystery Quincy.
Rukia starts fighting. The End.
>He needs to bring back Aizen to spice it up. Then at least when he's there, even if there is no plot, people will assume that there is.
This, so much this.
I just want to know what's the deal with Shunsui's eyepatch.
>Or he was simply kept in stasis until he regained his mind.
Not convinced here. How would the quincies benefit from having their ruler and allmighty ace in the hole in hibernation mode? The song even goes on to say that the king would be dead for 900 years, witless for 90 years, powerless for 9 and then regain the world in 9 days after the final 9 years.
As if it is something their looking forward too like how christians expect the return of christ.
Yeah, but Christians don't have to figure out how to keep their god figure from decomposing.
That is if the spiritual body explanation is not correct, which might be. Regardless, I was just presenting other theories, not trying to prove that specific one is solid.
Might be that.
As in, Mirror Flower, Water Moon world?
Kubo is usually very consistent with minor details, it's hard to imagine that something this big flew by him unless this is the root of his current issues with the assistant staff.
As seen here Masaki has blood staining her shirt where White will bite her in the coming chapters.
Before this chapter we know that one of Ichigo's parents was attacked by a hollow and here you have the proof.
Jesus christus, I didn't even think of that.
Goddamnit LoN, there's better scans available and you know it.
I had a strange dream just a few days ago. For some reason Lab Member was a nominee for TIME's 'Person of the Year' award and /a/ rigged the poll to make him win like moot. So there's Lab at the award ceremony that looked exactly like the Academy awards, and he's spilling spaghetti and talking about waifus and cringeworthy shit. Just as Lab's about to receive the award LoN yells "Not so fast!" and fucking rappels down the ceiling wearing skimpy exercise clothes, and challenges Lab in front of everyone for the right to talk about theories. Both Lab and LoN proceed to freestyle rap their theories, breakdancing and all, in front of millions of viewers; the bloodshed was unparalleled. LoN won.
This made me think: why Yamamoto aged as fuck, but Ywach didn't?
also theres shared flower imagery with Kyoraku and Aizen. Aizen is referred to as the flower on the precipice. Kyoraku is also referred to as Spring Spring when he raped Chad. Spring in chinese proverbs can mean ejaculation...
I, uh, god damn.
Not in my nyaatorrent pack, sorry.
That's your subconscious speaking to you.
Aging in Bleach seems to have a correlation to maturity and development of the character.
For example Yama grew old and frail when he came to care for his subordinates, allies and peace in the aftermath of the first Quincy war.
He rested on his laurels and 'got soft' like an old man, something Yhwach pointed out.
>Aging in Bleach seems to have a correlation to maturity and development of the character.
Nigga are you high
Maturity of the power as well, of course.
Nigga are you high?
It's a 1:10 year ratio, that's it. the exception is super old people who just stop aging at some point.
how mad will everyone be if Shunsui gets killed off?
As in soon, or in general during the war?
Well, said old people used to include Yama.
He didn't age from 2000 years ago to 1000 years ago, yet from 1000 years ago to present day he gained about 50 years.
Then you have enigmas like Unohana who never grow old.
If we use the comparison of Unohana and Yamamoto then Unohana harbored a deep grudge, a regret and wish that made her incapable of progressing after her fight with Zaraki, a fight which should've ended in her death according to herself.
Unohana never changed in that time, she just put on a mask and pretended everything was peaches.
full stop. it might kill bleach for me if it were to happen...
Not very mad. It would be a good way to go for him.
>Yamamoto says that his Bankai can't be absorbed because they don't understand all of the aspects of it
>proceeds to demonstrate each ability consecutively when he could have defeated the bad guy in one shot
This is when Bleach went from being so stupid that it was standing on the edge of the abyss to willingly disemboweling itself, reaching inside the gash and throwing it's viscera over the side of the cliff before jumping in after it.
Why did the Soul King choose Renji, Rukia, and Byakuya to receive new powers?
They're friends of Ichigo.
if he takes out haschwalth or yhwach then yeah. hopefully we'll see him curbstomp moustache quincy soon
boku no friendship
That's the craziest dream I've ever heard because there's no way Lab Member would lose to LoN
Who said he revealed all his powers?
But then where's my Hitsugaya and Grimmjow power up then?
He and Ukitake should go Bankai 2v1 against Bach using Yamamoto's Bankai and win, but then get killed by his Vollstandig/some other Quincy bullshit/Ishida, leaving Ichigo to deal with the final battle. After Kyoraku and Ukitake vs Yamamoto was hyped up so much and then aborted in the Soul Society arc it would be a badass way to resolve it.
thinking about it...what if Reio gives out powers the same way Yhwach does?
mmm i still think Ukitake is in line to succeed shunsui if he gets killed. uki has very high reiatsu
SK didn't meet with his visitors for whatever reason.
So it's different.
You got your Hitsugaya powerup like three times, he used that vaccuum dust shit, has a perfected Bankai now, and beat chinese wolverine with Urahara's magical pills.
As for Grimmjow, Kubo's obviously been hiding him for so long because he's gonna have some ridiculous powerup, like he gets a Segunda Etapa or a loli like Starrk.
Grimjow is still alive and coming back stronger as new king of Hueco Mundo
So is Hitsugaya by some miracle, and he'll probably plotkai a win against Bazz B becuz hes so epik
barely. he knows of ichigo and theres a reason his friends all got the rg treatment. actually it seems to run parallel to how rukia gave ichigo powers in the first place
None of that was a power up.
Vaccuum ice is him learning entry level physics, perfect Bankai has been the case since the timeskip adding to that we still haven't seen what it does once all the petals are gone now and the pill can only be called a power up if it somehow becomes permanent and he learns to use hollow power.
For that you would need Kubo to shed light and a certain someone would never let us hear the end of it if that happened.
I thought Hollow power was temporary
I have a question.
Why do Orihimefags and Rukiafags argue so much?
Orihime has been the only one to show romantic interest in Ichigo, and Rukia clearly only sees him as a good friend. Plus, it's not like Ichigo, himself has been interested in either of them.
We all know the series is going to end with the status quo intact, so it seems like of pointless.
are you guys retarded bakuya and ichigo are gonna be the final fights. Its the sayain syndrome where you get fucked in the ass and you come back 2 times stronger than the bad guy.
Well, yeah, but them shojo bubbles, man.
Zenkai. Kenpachi had that skill in Bleach: The 3rd Phantom.
yfw training him was a big lie and they decided he would kill more shinigami than quincy in the fights and simply got rid of him with that move
>Shinji's Shikai is quite the game changer and can fuck up almost any enemy if used right
>"Let me tell you how it works."
Ruki and Ichigo are platonic love interests, Rukia lusts for him and Ichigo has a thing for older women, but until Ichigo is 18 nothing can come of it because Jump is run by soccer moms.
They're Tokiko and Kazuki without actually fucking.
Every Jump story with a character relationship reminiscent of Ichigo and Rukia has ended with the two eventually hooking up, or otherwise being implied to be soul mates from previous lives.
I am looking at you, Kazuki and Tokiko (yes Bleach came before Busou Renkin, they copied Bleach and not the other way around), Ageha and Sakurako.
at least hes sorted that out now
Ukitake will almost definitely die. At least through fighting or his cancer.
He doesn't have it anymore. He was sitting infront of a rebirth lotus flower the last time we saw him.
Well Zenkai means full release and a third release will undoubtedly cause zanpaktou and shinigami to merge.
Probably only Ichigo will be able to pull this off, his Mugetsu form could be a precursor.
I've had that exact same idea for the longest time, but I didn't post it since it's chuuni as hell.
this is kubo we are talking about.
>makes you think hes frail
>kill him off?
That's the most dangerous man in the Gotei 13.
Of course, whatever you say.
>Or he benefited from having spiritual body after traveling/being moved to SS 1000 years ago.
But if Yhwach was moved to SS all those years ago then he couldn't have been discovered in the fifth field by souken.
Probably the shadiest guy in Gotei 13
Any chance of an early chapter this week?
Don't give a shit. Only question that matters is whether or not the chapter's Rukia-centric.
If it isn't I'll skim as hard as I've been skimming everything since at least Hueco Mundo.
We'll probably see her next chapter
My thoughts exactly. She's the only good thing in this series at this point, to me.
Was this ever updated?
