Will Anno ever explain this?
>it looks cool
>Near Third Impact
>14 year Time Skip
Go back to school and pay attention to the film's dialogue and context next time.
The entire "moral" fall apart if Shinji didn't do it, despite it's so painfully obvious it was an afterthought
The crosses symbolizes Christian crosses.
The moon is a Katamari
2.22 Special edition with an edited ending when?
Short anwer: No
Long answer: The more you think you understand evangelion, the less you want to talk about it and watch it.
You are all idiots who fall Anno's trap.
And why is Shinji blamed for the apocalypse if the actual apocalypse happened while he was in a coma?
why is this image so fucking huge
Will you ever stop making threads?
Yeah, eventually it'll get "explained" by some easy explanation you or I could have written.
The sad part is that this will actually satisfy some autists.
Eva is better without any explanation
Isn't that the black/white moon or whatever the fuck? The egg of lilith or sum shit.
>put some random shit
>never explain it
>"Evangelion is so deep!"
Why would he do that?
In the new tv series he'll make to milk the franchise more, maybe
>third impact had giant naked shinji instead of rei
>logical, coherent, organic explanation
What a major faggot.
Go be new someplace else
Even if Shinji actually did it, it's still shit
Would you watch a spinoff about Toji, Kensuke and Hikari treading the post 3rd impact wasteland and fighting proto Evas in order to survive?
So that people like us continue to talk about it, which exposes new people, as they see us talking about it, which makes Anno more money.
>at the end of the film, there will be an announcement of a new franchise.
There isn't anything to explain. The entire series is obviously of a lot of importance to Anno as a way to release his pent up frustrations and emotions. Even he, the creator, says it means different things to him at different times. It is a personal work that we are here to experience ourselves. By asking for explanations from others, you are harming your own appreciation for the series. You need to "explain" what is going on for yourself.
Sounds like a fucking cop-out to me.
>harem of shinji, rei, and asuka
>expecting concrete explanations
Why? EVA is clearly a psychological show that gains its significant from being a puzzle the viewer, rather than the characters, is suppose to work on and figure out. There is no "cop-out" because the goal was never to have definite explanation or reason. It is a critique on individualism and existentialism, both of which have their roots in individual interpretation. So just sit down and watch it.
Kaworu never blamed Shinji, he just wanted him to accept the truth so they could go and fix it.
Can I skip Rebuild 1.11/2.22 and go straight to 3.33
if I've seen the series and EoE?
1.0 and 2.0 are complete shit anyway, they contribute nothing beneficial to the series.
3.33 is the best Rebuild.
Evangelion is not that hard to understand, really. We are only having problem in understanding rebuild right now because of poor exposition, excessive focus on Shinji and of course 14 years of events that are barely explained.
The truth of him having all the blame for destroying the world, not those creepy guys that actually wanted to destroy the world or Kaworu's boss, Gendo. It was all Shinji's fault.
Why is she such a best?
If youve seen the series and EoE then you should watch 2.22 only because things start becoming increasingly different and the later half of the movie will help you understand what little there is to understand about 3.33
Why was there no clapping in EoE?
The clapping was my favorite part of the series, yet they didn't clarify about it
Shinji wanted to know the truth, Kaworu knows lying or sugarcoating what actually happened would only hurt Shinji more in the end.
He shouldn't be blamed, Misato and the others are certainly in the wrong for treating him that way, but it doesn't change the fact he caused it. He needed to accept the facts so he could stand up and fix what happened. There was no other way.
Komm, Susser Tod is nothing BUT clapping
>Yui forced to live 5 billion years
Truly a fate worse than death
It'll be lonely, but even after the Earth, the moon, and the Sun is gone, it will be eternal proof that mankind had ever existed.
She chose to live that way though.
It'd probably come in contact with some other alien civilization SOMEWHERE.
And then humanity will try to wipe out the angels in that planet
Maybe. If it dosent get caught in the gravitational pull of another planet or star first.
Mars is likely pick it up.
Humanity shall spend eternity orbiting Mars for however long that planet lasts before time erodes it away.
