So, after the guy he's currently fighting, it seems Ippo can fight Martinez for the world title. Any predictions on how are they gonna wrap up the rest of the plot threads? Things left unresolved:
- Takamura's six weight classes.
- Ippo's fight with Miyata (why did they never fight, again?)
- Aokimura's future.
- Sendoh's been saying he wants to fight Martinez too since forever.
- Itagaki wanting to surpass Ippo.
About Miyata, I'm guessing he can decide he wants the world title too and fight Ippo for the right to challenge Martinez (or challenge Ippo after he wins it).
Aoki is gonna challenge Iga again but Kimura has pretty much nothing to do, so the obvious thing is for Aoki to get badly injured and Kimura to move up a weight class (which he was talking about doing anyway) to get a revenge fight. The only question is why didn't the author do that from the start.
No idea about Takamura. The Eagle fight was a letdown after Hawk, I don't think the author can keep it interesting 4 times more. Not to mention how are they gonna squeeze 4 title fights for him when the main character seemingly only has 2 more fights left. Probably just make an epilogue saying if he succeeded or failed.
It's been almost 2 months since the last chapter of Ippo.
I hope there's an explanation for this shit.
Author realized he was just writing generic regurgitated shit so he stopped
Is Ippo almost done publishing?
He's talking about the scanlations, but I don't know why because Ippo scans have always been inconsistently released.
>implying he isn't gonna lose against Gonzales
Nope, Gonzalez triggered at least 3 defeat flags.
Tell me more, I love that stuff. Only thing I noticed was Martinez saying he would have told him to be careful.
Ippo is gonna beat Gonzalez than maybe a time skip maybe not then a miyata Ippo fight that ends the series rocky 2 style
That's one, the other is he called it an honour fight against Rodriguez and the third is that he had a real reason to fight, unlike Ippo.
Fucking Ippo hasn't received a single down since 10 fights or so. "Martinez Lite" will lose.
