Do you like Brigadoon, /a/?
Yes, I like suffering.
I watched the first two episodes when it was airing and dropped it.
I can't really remember why. I think I remember being weirded out because loli pantsu or something, and I wasn't used to that yet so I felt uncomfortable.
Yeah, but never again. I'm still listening to ost though, it's amazing.
agreed. best ED ever, even if it is a bit jarring in later episodes lol.
You should pick it up again, not because lolis or whatever ahah. Definitely my favourite anime of all. I felt physical pain the night I finished it because I was so sad and knew id never watch a show I liked more.
I am desensitized to loli now if that was the issue.
Is it objectively good? Like can you actually take your nostalgia goggles off and give me a fair assessment?
Thanks for reminding me I need to watch this.
I'm always up for a good defenseless-lolis-in-interstellar-peril show along the lines of Figure 17 or Narutaru.
I really enjoyed it, but I dont think its for everyone. I think the style of it all is very unique, the creatures and the story etc. but its seemingly happy-go-lucky little girl-robot adventure isnt what it turns out to be, its an emotional ride. The animation can get a bit shitty at times but it never really bothered me. But I mean all I can really say is it is definitely not for everyone and can seem pretty average as well but I guess I just really liked its premise and everything about it really ahah.
Also really amazing OST, feels really unique and kinda quirky but it feels perfect for the show.
Loved it. Fanservice came out of nowhere though.
I thought it was pretty great.
back when anime was still good
I almost forgot. There is some blu-ray renewal voting competition on, Brigadoon made it to first place (yaaay) but I have no idea when the competition is actually ending but if anyone wants a link to vote (or vote for any of the other anime there (some of which is really good but have literally no votes :/)) I can post it.
I liked the art direction but otherwise it wasn't very compelling. Didn't finish. Suffering is the laziest genre.
It has its ups and downs. I really don´t feel the need to rewatch it.
>Figure 17 or Narutaru.
Of this type of show the only one I actually liked was Alien Nine.
>Is it objectively good?
Not MAL standards.
Brigadoon was good, definitely worth a watch
