so /a/ your opinion on space dandy so far?
Personally I love it.
That 15 sec deep moment in ep two was very good made and the fun he is making of the modern anime and pop culture makes me laugh till tears
what is a dandy
dandy is the main chars name
It has a few amusing moments but for the most part I'm not bothered about it. Not even in my top 10 this season.
I was exited for it, terribly disappointed by the first two episodes, and then pleasantly surprised by episode 3.
Episode 3 was total shit and the worst episode so far. Rest of the episodes were very fun.
Basically a narcissistic stuck-up faggot.
Nothing much to do with this show's MC, really.
The show's fun by the way.
>laugh till tears
meow swiping at the hologram was fantastic and you are a chump.
and I think at the end of the episode we got a hint that we might of some sort of bebop mentioning since I think it takes place in the same universe couple of years (hundred or so) later
Oh God. If they pull a Bebop and try and force some drama in I will be so fucking mad.
I think it's pretty dandy myself.
Bebop's drama wasn't forced.
You could see that Spike's backstory was important from the start, and that it weighed heavily on him as a character by the way he acted in the first episode. There is no tone shift, the humor is mixed with drama throughout.
Space Dandy has no seriousness in the first episode. It starts with a parody narration, goes to a bar that advertises boobs, and ends with everyone "dying" and an "The End?" which is not even lampshaded in episode 2. For that show to suddenly get serious on a Bebop level, now *that* would be a tone shift.
Yeah, they got paid in Woolongs.
I hope for something like a funny mention of ein or a book about beeing a bounter hunter by ed or the mention of the worst resteraunt in space of all ages by jet
when they keep scenes like the ramen shop where you get a very short deep moment it is more then fine
Litterally the worst show of the season. Thats almost last nail in Bones coffin.
Chaika will let them recover a bit, and then Captain Earth will kill Bones for good.
it is not cowboy bebop and I think they don't want that anime to go into that direction so calm the fuck down
did you even look at what shit the season has to offer?
This series has taught me once and for all to never have high expectations for any upcoming anime series, especially if they look really good in the trailers.
Yep, it was quite a learning experience, but I don't like the fact that I became even a little bit more of a cynic when it comes to anime.
Best OP, best ED. Best moment so far was when everyone died in episode one.
Quite pleased with the show.
I'll still expect something more but still I like it enough to watch it till the end
lagan was sort of disappointing for me too because I expected something out of the meta but still really enjoyed the show
love the op ending is nice too
I swear if any of their next "adventures" consists of another warp mishap or wormhole hijinks I am going to drop this shit hard.
The dub is pretty good as well.
This thread isnt about Imocho
Why its only the best manga ever created!
Is that like a Canadian parody of Archie?
Pretty good, not as good as I expected it to be, but fun nonetheless. I'm interested to see if they're going to expand anymore on the chain thing and why he needs captured, along with the characters dying and being alive next episode. I know it might just be an episodic thing, but I really want the ED multiverse theory to be true.
