I just finished rewatching Samurai Champloo.
Anyone want to talk about it?
what was up with the zombie episode
Why not do it? Shows that Champloo went off on weird tangents like Bebop did.
it was just weird in a bad way though.
Is captcha being a complete and total bitch for anyone else?
After the first time I saw it I decided that I would ski p it every time I rewatched the series. That episode unnerved me for reasons I cannot put my finger on.`
So Jin > Mugen, right?
It a weird experimental episode that was kinda shit. The baseball episode was a far better non-samurai episode.
You shittin me? Momo beats both their asses
I'm a sucker for happy endings, and the ending was pretty good.
I wanted them to follow fuu after she walks off, but that would have been just too much happy.
Them all living was happy enough for me
No. But I'm sure that we can agree that Fuu is worst.
10/10 It's pretty good.
I'll never forget my anger the first time I saw the ending. Lyin ass bitch with her cheatin ass coin toss
that episode was fucking hilarious. The shitty american voices only added to it
In terms of most boring character then yes, Jin wins easily.
I would have preferred that the show ended with Jin and Mugen dieing and none of the stuff after that. It was still a great show though.
so who's your champfu?
gotta have at least one bad episode
I thought that at first, but I don't think something as depressing as that would have fit the upbeat nature of the show. Also, if they had died they would have never been able to resolve their fight, which would've been a huge kick in the balls.
I still felt sad when they just decided to leave each other after all that they had been through, but I guess they just wanted to definitively end the series.
I'm a sucker for rapping and english soundtracks.
Samurai Champloo hit me in all the right ways.
>Not "10/10, it's okay"
so who would have won?
Mugen or jin?
He lasted longer against all the more powerful opponents.
Plus, he had a cheap move.
It's a metaphor for World War II
Jin, probably. Mugen was a scrub who got his ass kicked all the time.
The only thing I can understand is the a bomb mushroom clouds
Why must watanabe have all of his characters split up? He fucking does it on purpose. Makes you like them and then either kills them off or makes them go their seperate ways. Fuck.
Jin would use his Power Word: Kill move, and Mugen's unconventional and aggressive style would mean he'd walk right into it to deliver the deathblow.
They'd both ...barely survive and call it a draw.
Jin was easily a superior swordsman.
Depends on where they fought.
RIP in piece Nujabes ;_;
I like to imagine the zombie episode as they ate bad mushrooms and went trippin.
in the final sequence Mugen survived
>getting blown up
>that super samurai's fatal blow
But Jin's opponent was a lot tougher than Mugen's
the van gogh ep was my favorite,i loved the ending.
it was a pretty good cartoon
baseball episode was best
it was pretty funny in the dub, too
I thought that too, but fuu didn't eat any
I imagine watanabe had a really low dose of shrooms one time and decided that he had a paradigm shift
>you are now aware that Jin got more ass than Mugen did during the course of the show
And that he went back to his prostitute waifu.
Jin confirmed for happiest ending.
It had pretty animations and different music.
Other than that, a mediocre show.
But Mugen has his ninja waifu coming for him.
that's a possibility, Jin definitely went back to the prostitute.
As much trouble as Fuu got into, without Jin and Mugen with her she probably got kidnapped and murdered / forced into servitude 15 minutes after the closing sequence without
>But Mugen has his ninja waifu coming for him.
Yeah, like that's ever going to happen.
I would've liked to see more Jin action, Mugen got all the cool stuff.
Jin got the better writing.
It was a fair trade.
Eh, I liked Mugen's backstory stuff more.
But we can all agree that episode 11 was the most heartfelt and well-designed of the entire series.
>Jin banged the wife whore
>and all of the ugly whores at the brothel
That episode hooked me for the rest of the series.
eh, I liked Sara's arc
It's inevitable that the Space Dandy gang are all goin to split up, isn't it? Damn you Watanabe.
The entire fucking thing seemed like a last minute episode crammed out by the studio as filler. And it was hilarious.
Anyone else notice that this show has the exact same characters as Blade of the Immortal?
I was literally crying when Mugen was straight beeming every player in the face
Indeed, one of my favorite single episodes in animation.
You truly are my nigger
