>I hate it because of it's fanbase
>Sao, SNK, KLeK, Dangan Ronpa, Sekai Seifuku
Yeah, i do.
Also, nice image swap.
>hating Hellboy's fanbase
Haha I know it was an image swap but I'm giving you a hard time anyway! I'm such a regular human huh guys.
Hellboy 3 fucking When?
The live action Hellboy movies were terrible.
Finally someone agrees with me hellboy has the worst fanbase
I just can't smile, without you
I just can't smile, without you
>hating anything created by based Mignola
>Log Horizon generals are almost completely alien compared to the rest of /a/
>feels like an actual fucking forum
>some people admit in them to being from different websites and only just coming to /a/ to talk about Log Horizon
I might not hate them the most, but the show is boring and the fanbase is horsefucker tier which has made me learn to hate the show as well because I associate it with them.
The fanbase of the show doesn't determine the show's quality, though.
It's an especially absurd excuse when you know next to nothing about it.
I'm not trying to say whether the shows you listed are good or not though.
So what is his power anyway? All I got out of the movies was that he has a really good punch.
What? But they were good in every way.
>great special effects
What picture was it suppose to be, OP?
Look on the bright side, there are worse things to image swap with.
Except the writing.
>hating on DATABASE threads
Hell Boy is basically Doom Guy. He doesn't have any real powers normally, besides above average strength and experience killing things.
Any other "powers" are stuff anyone else could have if they knew how.
Madoka has a terrible fanbase
>mods always ban for just under the appeal time so they don't have to answer for shit like this since most users won't bother to take it into the IIRC
>mods still complaining about ban evasions
A great deal of people in LH generals are people from mmo generals on /vg/ as well as /v/ and /tg/ folks
I don't give a fuck about fanbases and you're a gigantic faggot if you do.
It's not really a power per se, but his right hand is the key to unleashing some eldritch abomination that will destroy the world or something.
well, Ron Perlman still wants it to happen, so he needs to plead with Del Toro more
It just needs to fucking die already.
When it had 3 constant threads at all time, it gets fucking annoying.
They are reddit tier sadly because the show is not bad at all
That explains it, that cesspool is a forum all on its own.
>no quality control over community
>emotions and acronyms used without restraint and not intended to be ironic
At least /tg/ has a filter by being nothing but Warhammer threads, and nobody who likes Warhammer can be all bad.
/v/ is just Lil' /vg/ at this point.
Especially when the threads are nothing but getting austimal over who's best Meguca and how Homura did nothing wrong.
They're the worst waifu threads /a/ could ever have, the biggest reason being how they're so constant.
It's okay enough. At least it's not constant shitstorm like the early KLK threads
The threads are just as bad as the Katawa shoujo ones in /vg/, it's just shitposting with some minor discussion of the actual show.
>From the visionary director of the Pan's Labyrinth
that movie is a steaming pile shit. first movie in a long time that i actually walked out before it finished.
I really like Perlman. Him and Del Toro movies always go good together too.
>not being a crossboarder from a dozen different boards
Watch this part of the hellboy trailer:
Now watch this part of the Shingeki trailer:
At least KLK threads are /a/'s cancer and not some other cancer coming to /a/.
irc induced /tv/ debate about the ED
I am though, just good boards like /tg/, /g/, and /k/.
Every other board is trash.
If the people on the board you visit don't hound out people who use emoticons then it's a sign of it being a trash board.
Embedded player can't play the time properly, so you have to open it on a new window.
Hellboy 2 was kinda depressing though.
Scenes like the Forest God's death and Nuada's speeches were just bloody melancholy.
say what you will, but it's kind of like Johnny Depp/Tim Burton
That's what the image deletion button is for.
I only visit /jp/, /g/, /k/, /lit/ and a bit of /v/ and /int/.
The rest is shit.
Crossboarding isn't shit as long you don't act like a faggot and an ignorant idiot.
All boards dislike emoticons m8.
It's only ever really used ironically with the odd exception of ;_; and :3
Johnny Depp works really well in Tim Burton films. The problem is Tim Burton films aren't good.
I sometimes visit /vg/. None of the generals I go into use emoticons
you're an idiot you know that?
/vg/ doesn't mind any use of emoticons and use of acronyms and memes because /vg/ has abolutely no quality control.
People say "When I'm there I don't see any of that" which is weird to me because whenever I go in there I see it spread all around each and every general.
It's also got some of the shittiest circle jerking community on the site.
I liked Hellboy
It don't make me hate the show so much, but goddamn Haruhifags are so obnoxious sometimes.
I almost forgot how good Del Toro is at practical effects
The first one was decent.
>as long as you don't act like a faggot and an ignorant idiot
Simply by crossboarding, you will inadvertently bring in habits and content from other boards. Crossboarders are always the poison to any board.
People use ironic xD, :^) and :P all the time. You're an idiot if you think those are genuine emoticons.
I just act like myself and talk about a topic.
There isn't really any habit so long you don't act like a faggot and be overly emotional about anything. Most boards act the same way except for the truly shitty ones.
So attack on titan used music from hellboy II?
The thing about /vg/ is that it's got some massive disparity in quality. Each of the different generals is effectively its own board, with its own insular community and standard of discussion. The larger communities in particular suffer from being squeezed into a single thread, because the high rate of posting makes coherent discussion difficult, and quality discussion unlikely.
>not browsing 4chan so much that board specific mannerisms and lingo become ingrained in your everyday speech patterns
And your self is slowly being shaped by your environment, your visits to the other boards, and you're going to be spreading that self all over the place. Fuck crossboarders.
Depends on the general, but I agree. Vita General is a lot like /a/.
Not really. /a/ is one of the few boards that will call people out on them.
That's because only otaku weebs from /a/ buys a Vita over a 3DS.
/a/ is also one of the most hostile and toxic boards regardless of the subject
Better than the comics, that's for sure.
That's really old though. Nobody even uses it anymore.
>feels like an actual fucking forum
That's One Piece threads actually.
Good God, I miss the old One Piece threads on /a/ so much. Not the emoticon, broken English, and tumblr gifs clusterfuck OP threads we have right now. It has come to the point that I don't mind if wikispammer actually comes back and shit up One Piece threads again just so the newfags that dwell there learn their lesson and lurk the fuck more before posting instead of blindly charging in and posting however the fuck they want.
Yeah. It's a shame not everyone is as hostile as us.
This is bullshit. Most boards give you shit if you seem like a normalfag, with the exception of shitholes like /co/ and /b/
I disagree, most boards have a thing that separates them.
/jp/ has the shitposting passive agressive style.
/co/ has that helpful attitude that was their undoing
/v/ screams like a retard in every discussion
/a/ has somewhat of /jp/ passive agressiveness but also the autistic walls of text of death.
they're just directing it at feminism
if only /k/ had some decent moderation
You do know everyone on the outside views any of the big 3 threads as cancer and containment right? Only the people who participate in these threads can't see otherwise.
Discussion was supposed to go before the so on, fucking cellphone.
>Hellboy 2 was kinda depressing though.
boy ...then you better stay the ever living fuck away from the current mignolaverse stories, to make a very long story short lets just say everything went to shit...literally.
hellboy is dead and dealing with shit in hell
abe was brain dead for a while and is now dealing with the end of the world
liz is dead
the earth managed to survive getting almost blown up...but now its all full of elder horrors...think zombie apocalypse but with love craftian monsters
there is literally no actual hope for humanity
Same shit happened to me and mods banned me before enough time had passed for me to even delete my image.
The difference is that /v/ is hostile towards it's own users, while /a/ is hostile towards outsiders.
I don't hate anything based on the people who like it, because I am not legitimately retarded.
I like Hellboy II. It was a fun movie.
That's not the sort of depressing that gets me.
The whole "he was the last of his kind, and you killed him" in HB2 is the sort of thing that gets me.
>/co/ has that helpful attitude that was their undoing
Naww, man. /co/'s undoing is inability to not post in shitty bait threads, and allowing shitposters to know that they can start shit and get guaranteed replies.
Incompetence of mods doesn't help, either.
>not hostile towards its own users
damn it suzy, get back to hunting down that damn natural activity club.
They have what tumblr do you follow threads anon.
Made it on topic for you, OP.
It surprises me the hate between /co/ and /a/ took so long to blow out like it's now, i mean, we must jave complete opposite opinions on how to deal woth outsiders.
/co/ is too welcoming. It's rare to see someone get berated for doing something stupid.
there is some of that going on as well to some degree.
its all great, but its a serious kick in the balls.
even hell is gone to shit , and hellboy is tricked big time into turning it into even more shit.
Well, I agree here. If it wasn't for being too friendly LULZ MAN OF MURDR XDD faggots would be kicked out of /co/ a long time ago.
/co/ was always the nice board, turned out to be too nice for its own good though. I kinda miss it, I never even really watched cartoons or read comics but I used to like lurking on some of the threads there. That was like, at least five years ago at this point though, time flies.
Is that fucking Mara in the background?
/co/'s problem is cartoons
Seriously, fuck the cartoon half of /co/. The general threads are cancer incarnate, the shipping faggatory is like something you would see on deviantart and they actually have threads dedicated to Tumblr.
Hell, people were even banned for protesting against Tumblr threads. Can you believe that shit?
I mean, just look at this >>58079365
>Frozen General #194
What an embarrassment. I genuinely pity comic book readers who are forced to share a board with those degenerates.
One of the biggest mistakes of Moots career was creating /mlp/ instead of a larger board to contain all cartoonfags.
I don't understand why those threads still happen. Yeah, okay. It wasn't a great film. I get that. But there are multiple threads a day about it. It's ridiculous.
Same with "Why doesn't Wonder Woman have a movie?" and other shitty feminism bait threads.
/co/ is even worse than /a/ at not responding to troll threads.
They hit bump limit like 8 times today alone
And on the comics side of board we have
>why are comics so edgy? why do you hate fun?
>Pym/Superman/Aquaman is a great character because nobody else likes them and I'm a hipster
>U MAD PETERFAG?/WILD RIDE
>why won't Batman just kill the Joker?
>capeshit is for children. Indie is where masterpieces of literature are at
>whining about casuals
The comic portion of /co/ isn't that much better. It's 70% superheroes and 25% shitty webcomics. The remaining portion is an assortment of things.
I really wish they talked about non-cape comics more.
Why won't Batman just kill the Joker though? srsly
Because then they have to come up with new villains and stories, and we can't have that can we? Clearly better to just reboot everything for the umpteenth time.
