Dear /a/, You are the source of this emotional visual novel, Katawa Shoujo.
This particular picture in an ending has led me in a shitty emotional state, feeling depressed for some reason. I don't want to feel this anymore...
kill yourself nerd
like said, this came from /a/
/vg/ is generally where people who want to talk about KS do it, though.
(I think that will take you to the current KS general)
HOORAY I PROPERLY CROSS-BOARD LINKED
A character from this is literally the banner for this page
>2015 katawa shoujo generals
holy shit why
I can still remember the stiky when it was released placed in this board
Banners aren't all board specific homegirl.
I'm looking at a banner full of /k/ memes right now.
KS hasn't been /a/ discussion material since two months after the release of the game. Yes a bunch of guys from /a/ created it, but it became /vg/'s territory by board rules.
I don't have the chart with me but it's always the same shit
>something gets hyped long ago
>people on /a/ (not everyone) discusses it
>a few days/weeks later, discussion slows down
>others who don't like it become more vocal
More like 'its been discussed to death in a very protracted time period that all the regulars get so overwhelmingly sick of it and want all the scummy newfags who are attracted to the board as well as idiots continuing to perpetuate threads of the same damn thing to fuck off'
>inb4 muh 19 gazillion eva/madoka/kyoani/shaft etc threads
The difference is how pertinent to the board they are (KS may have been made by some guys from /a/ and the idea first mooted on /a/ a long time back but that's all in the past and those developers moved on) and the time period over which they are discussed and rise and fall naturally.
KS is kind of special in how /a/ realised how cancerous it was getting with all threads full of "feels" and other nonsense and so every thread after the first month or so was filled with shitposting (naruto thread style).
Also from what I remember at the time it helped push moot into deciding to create /vg/ since it was one of the most complained topics at the time as /jp/ didn't want it either (along with how shit /v/ was).
