No yuyushiki thread?
This anime was pretty bad.
cute little feet
cute little bean
The anime was pretty great.
This thread needs some motivation biimu.
Why do I have to be so poor?
Cute little puppets
>You will never have a mini Yukari riding on your shoulder.
Where are her legs?
Is it an amputee mini Yukari? I find that hot for some reason.
Or on my cock.

Make it on Yuyuesday.
Make it on the he weekend and call it Yuyuesday anyway
Yui a qt3.14
All days are equally Yuyuesdaysque.
Was it a coincidence that they got Yui from YuruYuri for Yui in YuYushiki?
Actually, Yuyushiki started before Yuru Yuri.
Can't wait until you discover who Yuzu is
Oh wow. She doesn't even sound like her.
It will now that you know. At least that's what happened to me
I'd fuck all the yuyus.
I want to hot glue that scale.
>Not recognizing Rumirumi's voice since the beginning
I watched YYS before YrYr
Yui is a very common name.
Season 2 when.
I've often wondered if they got Minami and Rumi as a set with the intention of getting YrYr fans, or if they really were "the best dykes for the job."
Not that I'm implying anything.
Come on anon, don't do this to my dick
Every time I see people posting stuff from this show, I never actually see any google.
I want to do really lewd things to them all at once.
Rumi is my least favorite in Yuruyuris.
I'd rather have Mikashi or Yukachin.
Who knows. KC have something lined up for spring, and I don't know what they're going to do for summer.
I was optimistic about S2 when they said GJ-Bu was getting an S2, but it turns out it's just an OVA. So now I'm optimistic about an OVA.
Now I want to eat mochi.
dango dakedo > nantsutte tsuchatta
dango dakedo nantsutte tsuchatta?
All Yuyus are equally orally receptive.
Yukari is simply more equallier orallier receptiverestierester.
Drama CD still hasn't surfaced?
It's not chocolate.
Lies. You're a bad, disgusting person and you should feel bad.
Oh, is scatguy back? Such elevated pastry.
Any Yuyubros watching Sakura Trick?
I went through the first two episodes today and enjoyed it. It's got a different tempo than YYK, and it's more outright in the yuri, but I think it'd pretty good.
Yes, we're all watching ST which is why Yuyushiki and Hidamari threads are slow.
It shows how much YYS could have benefited from actually having them fuck.
OP here, I forgot I even made this thread as soon as I made it.
I've been waiting for someone to notice
Hell yeah I am, and I'm liking it for a lot of the same reasons as YYS, namely that the characters and relationships actually seem real (Yuri physics aside, obviously)
Also helps that, like I've said before, the threads are filled with a heap of friendly and funny anons like /yys/!is
b-but how could you forget about the yuyus
Well that tears it. I guess I'm hoping on board. I feel so left out.
I never forgot the Yuyus!
But yeah ST is worth giving a shot. Not that you have to watch it to stick with the same crowd, I'll never leave /yys/
Well now I feel kinda silly. I forgot that I had already torrented it. I'm watching now.
hope you enjoy it, anon.
While I haven't decided on bestgirl yet, while all Tricks are equally cute, Shizuku Minami is definitely more equally cuterer.
I just got through the 1 episode. yeah, I'm enjoying it.
But I just realized I don't have a ST folder icon.
Well there's more than enough material to make one yourself
Alright which one of you fuckers made Yuzu cry
who made yuzu-chan cry?!
just wait till i get my hands on that pan ningen. Where are you fumi !?
I didn't mean to, honest!
Here, maybe this lollipop will make you feel better
ar..are you sure?
pan ningen desu ka?!
Dropped it mid EP2. They didn't put any work into it and it's obvious. They just wanted to dole it out for people who would take indiscreet yuri at any cost. I have four friends who also picked it up, two of them hating it as I did and the other two calling it completely perfect and the cutest thing to date. It seems very polarising, and I wish I was on the other end of the spectrum because it would simply mean more cute anime to watch, but I couldn't stand it.
if anyones to blame I think it you.
no, i actually enjoyed the view. if only i can be yui's mouth ~
you cant turn the tables on me fumi-chan! ...how does someone turn tables anyway? i bet yui can turn tables!
You and your friends are gay and it's obvious
Well it would seem I can't even respond to bait properly
I'm going to take a nap
Now how can you say a thing like that?
he just doesn't understand, anon.
Anyone have the picture where they are looking up how 3 girls can have sex on the pc?
I know they're lesbians, and all, but i want to fuck all of three of them at once.
here you go
heres another one.
no problem, anon.
so would this be considered yuyuesday?
It's always Yuyuesday somewhere in the world
favourite moe of 2013
I feel this way, too. It's alright, I guess, but nothing to write home about. And yes, the yuri just feels like it's there for the sake of being there, almost irritatingly so. And I'm not very attached to any of the characters yet, whereas with Yuyushiki I really liked the three of them right from the get-go. I'm sure more stuff will happen that will make me like the characters more at some point, but for now, it's probably my least favorite of the season.
Same issue with not liking anyone in Sakura. Yuyushiki was just really fun all the way through which is where I loved it but Sakura Trick just feels kinda gimmicky with the yuri instead of actually trying to integrate it with characters and such.
So, I'm the guy who was rewatching the show over the past week or so. It was wonderful. And I knew the end was coming. I knew exactly how it ends, but I still felt just as shitty and depressed after it was over as I felt back when I watched it for the first time. It's rare for me to feel depressed after finishing an anime at all, but this one got me not once, but twice.
I guess I'll never understand what made Yuyushiki so special for me that other shows don't have. I just have to sit back, accept it, and bind myself to these threads for all of eternity.
We will always be here with you /a/non-kun.
i felt the same way too, anon.
Well, sure, until shows like Non Non Biyori and Sakura Trick steal away the Yuyushiki audience forever.
I saw two Yuyushiki threads this weekend, both of which were gasping for life, and died with less than 30 posts. By the time I saw both of them near the bottom of the catalog, I figured that even if I did my best to save them, no one would be interested.
Mao Amatsuka was right about all good things coming to an end eventually.
*no one would be interested in hanging around in the thread regardless
Don't know where the rest of that sentence went.
to me, NNB or ST doesnt compare to yuyushiki. i find yuyushiki a lot more entertaining than NNB or ST. im gonna try to make at least a thread a week for yuyuesday because it deserves it.
I seriously don't get this
How can it be gimicky or 'just for the sake of being there' when everything in the show is built around it? The whole point of it is to explore girls in love and what they would do, in a pretty lighthearted SoL context without much of the drama and angst you get
And everything contributes to that. All the touching, the lewd sounds they make when they're kissing and stuff, all the subtle bits of dialogue that show how they actually feel about each other. And even the straight girls contribute to it because they're both a control of sorts for all the gay but more importantly it just adds to it feeling real because of course not every single person is gay, and not every person is straight. None of it is thrown in for the sake of it, so I really don't understand that complaint at all.
This isn't 'pure' yuri, they're just horny schoolgirls doing horny schoolgirl things with each other. And that's why I like it the same way I like Yuyushiki (of course it's not as good as YYS, but then, what is)
Now of course if you flat out don't like the girls then you're just crazy I already love them all
Same here. My rankings for Cute Girls Doing Cute Things 2013 are something like YYS > GJ-bu debatable if this counts since it has a boy > Aiura > KKK > NNB > KM, and I actually think that's all there was, unless there were some I haven't seen. Currently, I like ST a lot less than all of those, though I suppose it's a bit unfair to judge it so harshly so early.
I could never abandon the /yys/
im glad you feel the same way, and i agree with your ranking. Well yea. its only 2 episodes in, so lets give it a chance.
I agree. ST gets points for boner-induction, but I find the emotional dynamics pretty flat compared with Yuyushiki.
I'm not either of the people you responded to, but I think part of it is that Yuu is closed off while Haruka is almost-sortof-narrating, making it hard to know how much of an inner life Yuu has.
Partially I also struggle with the fact that the show dumped us into kissing with little buildup. It's hard for me to really understand why they like each other, aside from being gay.
That being said, there is tons of time and space for them to bring these issues into focus, but the pyramid feel inverted, if you will. I'll try to watch it more closely to make sure I'm not missing the gold, though.
I think it's mostly the kisses that just happen so sporadically, like there's a specific kiss per episode quota they're required to meet or something. I guess the fact that they're so rampantly horny is what makes me not like it as much as YYS, where it's obvious that they all like each other, but it rarely goes past harmless teasing, and never gets too explicit. But I feel like every time there's a kiss in ST, it's more for the fanservice than anything. I can understand how the whole point of the show might be exploring their feelings and romances and all that, but it doesn't make it feel any better to me.
And the couple who kissed in episode 2 felt even more crazy to me in that sense. And then Haruka and Yuu seeing that kiss, thus prompting them to share yet another kiss. It's just kinda crazy.
I've voiced my opinion in these threads before about how I feel when I want to watch a cute girls show just for the sake of relaxing and laughing, and then it goes and shoves fanservice in my face like it thinks I want to be horny 24/7 or something. Though ST doesn't do it in a "HERE HAVE SOME CLEAVAGE AND PANTYSHOTS" kind of way, which I like, but it still kinda feels dirty to have all this lewdness.
Having said all that, though, I DO like ST. Just less than some other shows. I'm giving it a chance, and really hope I can warm up to it more. But it hasn't really wowed me yet. I guess how I really feel is too complicated to verbalize, especially with a character limit.
See, I love the lewdness and wish Yuyushiki had more of it. But I consider YYS to be an actual romance, while ST I'd almost call a "Lesbian Kissing Anime."
>tfw they'll never anime the Yuzu/Yui shared bathing dream
>Delicious Pan ningen
>Yukari's laughter is never-ending, thanks to the power of mosaics
>The 3DPD Yuzu plague begins spreading nah but seriously keep up that good work, dude
>NEWCOMER: Yui Nightmarawasa
>The DeviantART pandora's box is opened, but narrowly avoided
>All Fumibros were really Fumi the whole time
>Mistakes in analysis lead to wonderful friendships
>There's no way to accurately define a mishmash; lesbian phenomena continues to baffle top yuriologists
>Revenge of the writebros
>Robokari will not allow escapees
>Elevated beds are nice and safe
But building up to the big first kiss isn't what the show was going for. And it's not building up anything on that either. Yuu and Haruka knew each other from middle school, Kotone and Shizuku knew each other beforehand too, and they spent enough time with each other that they developed a relationship. That's all we really need to know because ST is more concerned with what happens after that first kiss.
I guess you can kinda think of it as the next chapter of anything you've ever seen or read where the whole thing is building up to them getting together right at the end, and that's all you'll ever see of them really together.
Also in the manga Haruka fantasises about kissing Yuu in the opening before they even reach high school but they cut it out for some reason in the anime
Also Yuu is way gayer than Haruka is, just wait, seriously
Well that's kinda the pure argument again. And it's fine if you prefer it not go all the way. But when people are in love, whether it's a straight or gay couple, they don't hold back with each other. They get explicit with each other, they have THOSE thoughts about their partner. And ST shows that, which is why it feels 'real' for me, and why I'm really liking it.
And let's be honest we don't get a lot of that in anime, so I'd rather support it if I can when it isn't completely awfully done like it has been elsewhere
>while ST I'd almost call a "Lesbian Kissing Anime."
Okay, that's a pretty good way to summarize my point. I feel like Yuyushiki has a lot more substance, and substance is what I look for in anime more than anything. But I think Yuyushiki is perfect the way it is. Having hardcore les romance in any official Yuyu canon would feel weird to me. So it's good that ST is giving anime viewers a different angle of lesbian interactions. It's just not what I value the most in yuri shows, is all.
It's weird, since I'm not even a purefag. I'm okay with OTHER people sexualizing the yuyus. Hell, I've contributed to it with a few of the writings and pictures. But I think it would be weird if that sexualization were to ever become canon, as I've said here: >>100587170 I think I just prefer some things to be separate from other things. I watch SoL to have fun, not to be "pandered" to.
It's not like I have particularly hard feelings towards fanservice or anything, just that I like it on my own terms. Sakura Trick is a fine anime, I'm sure, but it's not really my preferred flavor of cute girls doing cute things. I'll still watch it, though, and I'll probably get more enjoyment from it than not, because I'm the kind of person who gives things the benefit of the doubt, but as far as my own personal tastes go, I don't think I'll like it more than other shows just by default.
Sorry if I'm starting to not make sense at this point. Or if I haven't made much sense from the start. It's 4 AM and my brain is kinda fried. And I tend to have a hard time articulating and expressing my opinions without sounding wishy-washy and all over the place.
But anon, ST is the highest form of cute girls doing cute things: cute girls doing each other!
Nantsutte. The important thing is that we all prefer Yuyushiki over Sakura Trick.
>The DeviantART pandora's box is opened, but narrowly avoided
im gonna call it a night, yuyuanons . i'll be sure to be in the next thread with you guys.
This thread seems to be the "official" /yys/ thread, so expect it to stick around for the next day or two. 'Night.
So Yuyubros, what are your top three recommended moe anime excluding YYS?
This is probably something you can discover on your own, anon. Just a fair warning. You're probably going to get responses anyway, because these threads are really nice, but I'd personally like to uphold the "no spoonfeeding" standard of /a/ if nothing else.
You can even back track through the archives with the help of the Summaries to see how we feel about stuff, since we do often discuss other shows.
I just wanted to get a feel for the tastes of some anons as well as promote discussion. I've already seen my fair share and would be able to answer the question myself, but I was waiting until after a few responses.
"No spoonfeeding" is just elitist bullshit anyways. The real rule should be "Don't answer incredibly stupid questions" which should be common knowledge.
No I get what you mean.
But we pretty much explained everything about our stances so there's not much else to do now.
Sakura TricAzumanga, Hidamari and Hanamaru Kindergarten
I'm fine with no spoonfeeding, since it encourages people to figure things out on their own, and I don't mind being the board being a little elitist since /a/ is one of the few anime communities on the Internet that I can even tolerate, and for that exact reason. But you're right that we could use more discussion up in here. Though I feel that the word "recommendation" should be avoided most of the time to avoid causing a shitstorm.
S-Sorry for the misunderstanding.
It's fine. I knew why you answered the way you did and didn't believe your intentions to be ill.
My nigga. Hidamari is my #1.
You are my nigga. No one on /a/ ever seems to talk about it.
I dropped it after two eps, just didn't work for me.
Honestly, the first time I watched A-Channel I had thick yuri goggles on, and loved it. The second time I didn't and it wasn't nearly as good.
>I dropped it after two eps, just didn't work for me
Why make Koume cry like that you monster?
Fuck, I'll rewatch it, OK? Just stop doing whatever it is you're doing to my nutbladder.
Each passing episode felt like a whole new heart attack of cuteness overload to me, and I loved it. I can kinda see how it wouldn't be for everybody, though.
>Tfw being afraid to rewatch something you're nostalgic for because you're afraid it won't live up to your previous perception of it
I was afraid Yuyushiki would turn out like that for me after 9 months of thread circlejerking, but thankfully it was almost better the second time, if anything.
That episode crushed my heart. So fucking adorable how much she loves her onii-chan. Koume a best Hanamaru.
That's the spirit!
She is great so I can respect your choice but my ideal 2D family will always be Fumi as waifu with Ren-chon and Hiiragi as daughterus
Sakura Trick has all out lesbian girls doing lesbian things. Yuyushiki still is just a cute girls doing cute things with implied subtle yuri.
How does it feel to know that you will never see a single smile in your household?
Except in the mirror, of course.
Anyway, I've got to get some sleep now. Keep on holding down the fort until the rest of us wake up. Good night~
Does anyone remember that SoL scale we made a while ago? It measured comedy to healing. Looking at this makes me think we can add a Y-axis to it that measures lewdness and cuteness.
But they actually do smile, they just all save it for extremely special occasions and makes it all the more lovely
So just imagine how my heart will feel when something manages to make them all smile at the same time
It's not that subtle. Even Hidamari is much more subtle, and Hidamari is gaaay with 3 a's.
And it's not pure, e.g. compared with Kiniro Mosaic, where you could still claim the affection was platonic-ish.
I'd compare Yuyushiki to A-Channel. A-Channel had some strong yuri moments, clearly implied kisses and generally implied gayness while Yuyushiki had no implied kisses but explicit yuri discussion, so I'd consider them on the same level.
Okay, so Fumi has a few smiles. Ren-chon has smiled exactly once. (which I still consider to be some sort of oversight, since it's not really an important scene or anything) And I'm pretty sure there are like 3 scenes total where Hiiragi even HAS a mouth, maybe less.
But yes, I agree with your point. And it's kind of the same reason why people like tsundere.
Okay, going to bed for real now.
Don't go I'm not finished telling you about my family that doesn't exist!
Night night anon
Which Yuyu would you base an entire religion around and why?
All of them
I want to build a religion around shining yuyu underwear.
This show and these threads just make me so horny. I can't help but avoid them.
