Can we have a Yahari thread?
Admittedly I'm just an animeonlyfag who can't wait for the second season. And so, I have a question for anyone who read the LN: does the plot get increasingly romantic?
Watching Hachiman solving people's problems is fun and all, but I'm more curious to see the development of his relationships with other characters (especially Yui and Yukino).
Also, please keep the "x is the best girl" shitflinging to a minimum, thank you.
Oh, bless, he doesn't know
I...I have some bad news for you anon...
Volume 7 [after the festival] spoilers
As far as romance goes, Yui turns it up in her quest to win Hikki's heart. The classes go on a field trip, and the service club is asked by Tobe, one of Hayama's friends, to help him start dating Ebina, the fujoshi. In the middle of all of this Yui starts getting increasingly romantic, making more physical contact with Hikki and what not. In order to maintain the status quo at the request of Ebina, Miura & Hayama, Hikki asks Ebina out so that Tobe will understand that Ebina doesn't want a relationship. Yui asks about Hikki's intentions later, and he basically says he understands how Ebina doesn't want a relationship because he is a lot like her, thus rejecting Yui before she even confesses. Then Yukino gets mad at his methods of sacrificing himself for the service club, and if I remember correctly, it is hinted that she stayed out of the way while Yui made her moves, and is upset that it was all for nothing. I hope that was an accurate summary.
So, trap/sensei end?
Hayama is a douche.
I hope Yukino doesn't end up with some faggot from this show, They're all beta nerds who can't handle her demanding self.
Actually in the last BD special the author and Eguchi Takuya (8man's VA) expressed their desire for a second season.
>Lelouch in charge of not being the one with the shittiest taste on 4chan
Jesus, that twintail cunt can fuck off. Saki Saki' ponytail is the true best.
She needs a real man, like Zaimokuza.
I'm okay with this if they wait until the LN is finished.
The main problem with all these highschool romance comedy LN adaptations, besides the fact that they're all rehashes of the same shit, is that there's never any resolution because they get adapted too early into the series.
However I doubt many of these are going to get a conclusion and I think yahari will be the same.
Who Sensei here?
2nd best behind Saki. If only he didn't smoke, such a turn off.
How many of the 3 sakibros are in here right now?
Right here. I'm also >>100548427
Do there might not be any more then 2 in here
I know there is only 3 of us.
Is there any hope of a Saki win since her anime scenes have been gutted?
Not unless the author really fleshes out her character, and opens her up to 8man. I don't even think he fully realizes her infatuation with him. To be honest, I highly doubt he'll get with anyone by the end of the series.
At this most, most anons are novelfags, no?
at this point*
If it's anime, I doubt it. If it's LN I'd say it's anyone's game with the author deciding what he wants to do.
Please no. Not again.
Wait what happened?
I think there's a good chance for a second season after more novels get released.
I think the studio that did Yahari doesn't do 2nd seasons for anyone else, except one other series. Though I may be thinking of a different show.
Yeah, you're right.
Brains Base is notorious for never doing any follow up season for any shows outside of Natsume. For example, Durarara sold liuke hotcakes and there was never even a hint at a possible second season. For most of us battle worn anons with Brains base, we pretty much fear that the case is the same with Yahari.
How convenient, I just finished rewatching it today. Yukino is so damn perfect, I'm afraid I'll never actually fall in love due to the standards she set..
8man is a really interesting character too
