Would people still think you're weird for watching anime if you looked like this?
>>
>>100542742

Looking like that you could probably make pedophilia socially acceptable.
>>
Would you savour my poop nuggets as I stuff them up your nose?

It doesn't matter what you look like. Nobody gives a fuck about your hobby, because everyone is too busy caring about their own lives.
Your hobby only becomes a problem to others when they feel it's invading their personal space, ex:
>You feel the need to bring it up in every conversation (like sports fans).
>Pushing the niche part of the hobby on others unfamiliar with it (waifu-tier shit).

My point? Watch anime as much as you'd like because nobody really cares except you. You'll only have problems if you're an unsocial neckbeard about it.

Girls on facebook claim they like video games.

>>100543295

There are also girls that actually like video games.

>because everyone is too busy caring about their own lives.
You couldn't be any more wrong. Why do you think reality TV shows are so popular?
>>
>>100543350
That's much less believable.
>>
>>100543412
Why should this discussion go on /a/?
>>
>>100543430

You won't meet them though since they're i ntheir room playing video games

I'm attractive and tell people that ask or if it comes up, that I watch anime.

I have never had people chastise me for it, or avoid me or whatever after.

Yes.
>>
>>100543705

So that just means anime fans are ostracised because they are filthy subhumans?
>>
>>100543272
Pretty much this.

I watch anime and my friends know it but no one cares since I don't go full aspie with it.

One of my best friends has a foot fetish. But no one gives a shit since he's not showing us pictures of his girlfriend's feet.

>Why do you think reality TV shows are so popular?
Because it's not really "reality TV", but a staged situation - created by putting horrible people in a small space together, for log periods of times - that would likely never happen under normal situations.

At the end of the day your coworkers don't lay in the bed thinking about you and how you came to be, or why you do this and that. You are that "guy/girl" that works with them, that they might hate/like, but nothing more.
Unless you do something to put yourself high on the creep-o-meter, you'll stay off their radar and can continue to wear your animu shirts with no issue.

Do you have pictures of her feet?
>>
>>100543032
she's so shopped it looks like a painting
>>
>>100543412

Why do YOU think they're so popular?

People watch reality shows as entertainment. The producers pick people who have some sort of extreme personality, and then people enjoy watching those personalities play out in semi-artificial situations. People watch reality shows for the same reason people watch fictional shows: watching characters they find interesting in unique situations, the difference is that the situations are "actually" happening. It's not about trend-following: although some reality show characters might be considered fashionable or deserving of imitation in some ways, that's not why people watch the show. Nobody wants to be Honey Boo Boo.

People would find it strange that you have any time for hobbies that aren't sex.
