>[HorribleSubs] Magi S2 - 15 [720p].mkv
Time for more Marga and to discuss the Goi's
RIP in peace
With jews you lose.
This arc is just one huge anti-Israel propaganda.
You always will have minorities try and stop those who control everything. Especially if it is a hedonist system that kills life as this one
God I love this show. It's like I'm watching Naruto again as a kid but I'm all grown up.
I've read the manga up to date so I know what's coming but they're doing a great job of animating it. Fuckin' holding back tears n' shit.
I hope it gets a third season.
It'll be a long time before a 3rd season will happen since this 2nd season will pretty much catch up with the manga
Are there more dubbed episodes out yet? I could only find 1-13 of season 1.
Well.. seeing as how we are into the second season.. But yeah.. there are 25 episodes in S1.
Oh, didn't realize you said dubbed.
Just watch subs. Jesus.
I caught up with the manga last night. Who's excited for the inevitable QUALITY that will be the last battle?
The new ED is really growing on me especially those first 30 seconds
You are worse than the fucking goi.
They're saving the 100k yen budget they have for EXTREME MAGIC
My body is ready for when Aladdin reveals himself during the war.
I'm already into S2 in subs, though I've fallen behind a bit.
I got a friend into it and we've been watching the dub, but only half of them are up online, which I don't get.
>which I don't get
Dubs are shit and you should feel bad.
Well.. if they're on youtube I'm gonna go ahead and guess it's not an official dub. Not that I'd think it'd have an official dub anyways. So you're basically shit out of luck. Whoever is dubbing it probably dropped it if they're this far behind.
I actually don't mind the Magi dub. It's not perfect, but fuck, it doesn't merit sub-snobbery.
Not sure if Pro-Israel or Contra-Israel
An official dub was announced and was supposed to come out in the fall.
No it has an official dub
Aladdin's voice is even more shit and Alibaba's voice is too fat/deep, Mor is alright though. But dubs suck in general
I expected Muhammed to be generic old evil faggot, maybe member of Al-Quaeda, now i just feel bad for him.
English just... English just isn't the same, man.
Alibabas was alright for like.. a second. But then it was all bad again.
I like the voice in general, but the fact that they have to sync it to the Japanese mouth movements sometimes makes it a bit choppy. That's forgiveable, I think, but I'd prefer they didn't sacrifice delivery and pacing for audio sync.
Why is almost every character in this series either ridiculously attractive or an amorphous blob?
Why were jews born into this world?
To make it a better place.
Because greed and gold are such wonderful things.
It's funny how the Dumbledore complains about goi greed, while praising jew lust for knowledge. It's like he doesn't know his people at all
it's hard to make ugly characters without over-exaggeration, do you even watch anime?
The point was that average-looking characters are in the minority, much more so than in anything else I've seen. Seems that way, at least.
Doesn't it support Israel to some extent though? The whole episode was basically "white people are the devil they have slain and betrayed our kind now it is time for us to stand and strike back"
In other cases I'd say QUALITY but Alibaba just looks so Alibaba here.
I like Alibaba's and Mor's voice from that trailer. I only don't like Arjin's. That's surprising since usually the English VAs don't do girl voices well at all.
I'm only halfway through season 1 though just catching up
Geeze, what shit casting. The acting is alright, but the voices simply aren't right and the directing is shit, like they're not sure how their even supposed to say the line sometimes.
Why are English dubs so shit again? Is it because of the VA union?
Ugh, what were they thinking giving the main role to a newbie voice actor?
I wonder what bullshit they are going to use to prove him wrong; he's just too correct to get away with telling a story like that and explaining why wizards should control the world for everyone's safety, how do they vilify and eventually kill him off with nobody listening to his words? I can see the end of this series just being Solomon being an absolute monster, and Aladdin realizes that he should have sided with the jew wizards when he had the chance.
Newbie isn't always bad. How old is the Aladdin VA?
You can't have one person ruling everything and dstroying different cultures. There's no need to prove that he is a wrong
JIDF pls go.
Magnoshutatt is a disgusting country.
So the OST comes out in a few days. Anyone else excited for it? I hope they include all the tracks this time.
There would be no more wars if wizards ruled everything, the goi would all live like the ones in sector 5, maybe even a bit better than that since there would be so many more of them powering the magoi absorption devices so only the old and weak ones would die from it...they weren't exactly happy in there but they weren't totally sad either, they could do whatever they wanted without working, they were quite literally like people on welfare in this country, except they actually had to give something in return for it. Seems fair to me; it's not like all the goi would be there, only the lazy-ass ones with no desire to better themselves, the wizards will always need skilled workers and merchants.
Culture is pretty worthless anyway, better to destroy it for the greater good.
How do you pronounce Aladdin?
Jews aren't wizards. At least I don't think they are.
Are they? Anyway, it's not a direct comparison, I fucking hate the jews for ruining modern media and film, but them wizards have some pretty good ideas.
Mogamett did nothing wrong.
Not even /pol/, those bastards just deserved it.
In Japanese, smartass
The way they pronounce it in the show.
Use your ears.
>The uploader has not made this video available in your country.
What the fucking point? It's a fucking trailer and they disable it.
The problem is that he thinks that all non-magicians are bad. It's obvious.
Christina Vee seems like a pretty good VA. I never saw a whole show with her in it, but I didn't recognize her voice until they said so in the text bubble. And I think she was the best in that trailer. Which is surprising since English dub VAs tend to be shit IMO.
>Christina Vee seems like a pretty good VA.
Well, I wouldn't know, is she bad? Her name pops up everywhere
So, I got a question /a/
Would a person who keeps current with the manga enjoy the anime? or is it shit compared to the manga?
after watching and reading the whole series, do you actually disagree with him? can you give a single example of a legitimately GOOD person that isn't Aladdin AND doesn't die in the same episode? Even if you can think of one, I doubt you will get more than a small handful out of an ocean of filthy worthless sub-humans. this show is a tribute to greed and corruption.
Because the greed for knowledge is a far more noble greed than the greed for power and money.
If they where left alone, their greed wouldn't cause trouble to anyone.
But the greed for money and power has many victims.
Now, Mogamett's way of dealing with it is wrong because he assumes that every Goi is evil which isn't true.
But form his long life experience, it is true for him.
What he did is basically extreme self defense.
Now to break up your delusion of magicians=Jews, Jews are regular humans with regular material greed.
Is the manga over yet or is it going to go on forever like other shonen shit?
Mor possibly, Alibaba though? I don't think so tim.
Didn't they include all the tracks for S1?
People have their life force drained and thus are impossibilitated to go further in the social pyramid. Also Not everyone wants to be forced into slavery. Those on the slums are drugged, and spend their days on the verge of consciousness. That's not living. Life is searching with all your might for a purpose, not being guided like livestock since the day on which you are born.
It's a matter of what you consider more important: freedom or order. Any kind of horror it's best than the degraded human life that those majews offer.
I'm really enjoying the anime because A-1 still hasn't changed anything major unlike in S1
I thought they didn't. Or maybe my memory is bad.
And the the budget got taken up a notch.
It's not over, but I doubt it's going to pull a one piece on us.
I'm only up to ep 8 of S1 have I gotten off track from the manga yet? And how do they reconcile that with s2?
What an emotional episode. And what a great ending.
Season 2 is really good so far.
>Google translate: Aladdin
But the nips say it like ararrrjin or something
I thought people would say it like eru erufu
>There would be no more wars if wizards ruled everything
Did you already forget about Al Thamen? And how it's them who started the war and destroyed the previous world?
Literally everyone accepted Solomon as the king and it was pretty much perfect for everyone. But Al Thamen, the wizards, their greed was too big. They didn't want to be ruled, they think they are better. They wanted to rule.
It's the same greed the Mogamett labels on the Goi.
Mogamett's conclusions are "right" only when viewed from his perspective. Basically his life was shit, the life of magicians in his country was shit.
So he assumed life of every magician is hit.
Then he made a academy for magic. Those who came to the academy had a huge desire for knowledge.
So he assumed every magician had a desire for magic and wouldn't get corrupt by his basic needs and greed.
He made his mind up based on his bubble world. He only saw one side of everything and decided it's the only side.
Sure, he was right to try and make the life of magicians better. To protect them, to study magic and make the world a better place.
But he was wrong in assuming that everyone is only there to try and abuse the magicians.
People compare the magicians to Jews, but it's more related to X-man and dr. Xaviar than the Jews.
No the major fuck up happens on episodes 16 and beyond.
>And how do they reconcile that with s2?
They just ignored how the change that they've made at the end of S1 contradicts the lore of the series
They literally went off course in the first scene of S1 Ep 1. Although IIRC the balbadd arc was adapted well. Then it goes to shit while ruining Alibaba's character in the end
They have a purpose, they have free room and board for life, and if they have a real desire to make something of themselves the wizards will surely be recruiting for skilled labor, they can't do everything by themselves. Guards, scholars, merchants, and other necessary figureheads of society will still be there. I'm sure scholars would even get special benefits since they actually strive for the same thing as the wizards do; if it's going to be a society based on knowledge, it's not like they are going to be burning books and shit like that.
They pronounce it Arajin.
That's because they don't have L or DD in their language
Al Thaumen are the good guys
surely you can see that twist coming from a thousand miles away; everyone who is obviously bad in this series has had a worthwhile reason motivating them.
>They literally went off course in the first scene of S1 Ep 1
That doesn't matter though, it didn't ruin anything. DARK ALIBABA however... fuck it all, man.
Isn't plural of 'goy' - 'goyim'
Alibaba is a good dude even though he digs whores.
this manga is so red pilled it's scary
That's because the series doesn't try to make everyone black or white.
It tries to make realistic bad guys who have a reason to try and change things up, but didn't see a better way than turning evil.
However, that doesn't apply to Al Thamen.
Al Thamen basically abused everyone of those bad guys. Used their despair in order to turn them blind to other solutions.
I don't doubt that Al Thamen will have a reason for doing all this. But I doubt it will be good enough to pain them gray from the pure black they are right now.
yet its also cute
what a great culture
They are handicapped since they are born. How do you know that there wouldn't be people like Cassim, troubled by this? How can you call it free will, when you are forcing EVERYONE under one only system? If a person doesn't likes his country, his laws, or his system, he can always go to another place. But what if they ruled everything? It's assumed that they are ok with it, since they can't "go" to another country. In another words, they are forced to accept mages law. That's not free will.
Besides, if you want all the knowledge, why are you erasing culture? Do you claim to have, under your perspective and culture, ALL the knowledge, and assume that the others are wrong? Do you reach absolute truth by your own reasoning, claiming that everything else is false? Not even myself, an advocate of Descartes, am okay with that
Isn't that made by the same guy who turned full white knight idiot?
My guess is they will be the reason he got shat on earlier in life and was forced to form Magnoshutat; they probably have a similar "normal people can't be trusted to rule" mindset, taken to a much greater extreme, in that they don't even trust other wizards outside of their own ranks, or wizards that don't use the black rukh.
The theory is that they won't rule as oppressively as the goi rulers do. Depends on how much of a hypocrite he is, I guess; if he treats them the same as normal rulers do, it would just prove wizards are the same as normal people.
I assumed that much myself.
But that's not enough to paint them gray.
Mogamett genuinely wants to make a better world to live in for his people and he also believes that the people are more or less content with their life, even the people in the 5th district.
Al Thamen wants to destroy the world because they hate the ruth. They want to ruin the world for everyone because they had a bad childhood.
Wrong , in the start you have no chance , if you are born into a fucking place where you can not get out and the rest of the world are just fairytails, only if a third party interferes you can newly start to understand the kind of life you led and the life you can archive, for those people theres no beyond the place where they were born , they have no idea what's out in the world and the possibilities , it's like raising a cow in a dark room, the cow will never know that I had the chance to grow in a meadow .If you get better for the person who has you captive, you do not become more human or more freely, simply become a better livestock, maybe you have more chances , but how? can one becomes someone better, if nobody tells you what you can be, the normal human being has the pressure of society and the teachings of the school and their families to be better, to learn that it has endless possibilities, but a person born in the mountains where hopefully have water , you will never know the possibilities that you have, you just knows that you have to look after the place to get food and maybe if you are lucky enough to procreate, but that does not differ at all from an ordinary animal.
All that endless possibilities do to a person is make them uncertain; the more paths that are open the less sure of oneself a person is. Very few people are able to just pick a path and go with it.
It's a 'shop of his post white knight work.
You say that under your perspective. But what about those who have no choice? Yes, you are uncertain when you make a choice, you can suffer because you will never be sure if the path that you are following is the correct one, or what would await you on another path. However, that's what human life is. It's good to be troubled by such things. People must be able to do that. that's what define them. A person is himself and his choices. And every person chooses something different. At every moment, you have infinite choices, and the wonder of what will each one bring you. A lot of people who were troubled by decisions end up loving the fact that they are taking a path that nobody else has seen.
I wouldn't be able to have a will to live if I had everything controlled for me. What's the point of living each day, when you already know how it's going to be? It's not even a boring life with no surprises, since you can't be bored. They give you everything you need to feel right. It's like watching TV in our world the whole day, or staring at the screen of the computer. You are not living the moment, you are feed an illusion. The same illusion every day, as long as it makes you feel good. It's an empty shell of what existence is supposed to be. And I'm sure that humans, by nature, want more than that
This is what people really believe
His story is sad, but still it is kind of pathetic blogging about your life in ideology classes.
Me the second from the right.
Everyone has choices in any situation. And it doesn't matter how many choices objectively you can have, since you can't ever know how many choices there are in the world. What do you believe is what matters, and you learn what do you believe in a place where you live. So cow living in dark room thinks that she has lot of possibilities and also cow living in meadow thinks that she has lot of possibilities. Fact that we know, that cow from meadow is more free is irrelevant for these cows.
And it is not like people from "above" are more free than people from 5th district. They can't fuck on streets, lazing entire day on streets. They are in fact less free, because they have to follow lot of rules, while people from goipit just can't leave the goipit and that is all.
You are not objective observer of your own life. You can get some reflection observing everyone elses life, but it is still that absolute objectivity, since your observations are based on location.
Reminder that the NEET life is the best life.
Been up to date with the manga but feel like revisiting the old chapters through the anime. Which subs should I go for?
I just used HS. There are probably better ones though
I love the discussions that rise up from this show/manga.
Yes, and it's great.
That's so true, I had the chance to learn anything but I couldn't decide because nothing felt interesting so I ended being a neet, my friend had less choices and needed to work to live so he picked a job and kept changing it for other better so he ended in a good position right now while I'm a total loser.
What a great episode, once again Magi had me tearing. The mages vs goi remind me when in history erudite and wise men were always persecuted by barbarians and religious men.
The way they say magi ...
my sides help
So is there any question left that Sinbad is the final boss?
