Finally! We hit a succession of last minute problems, but now it's ready to roll.
The movie cut a ton of material from this episode, so a lot of it's still TV frames. But, we have a lot of the new goodness from the Gertrude battle, as well as the building she appears in.
The difference between the TV/Movie cut this time is the school roof scene. Taking the TV audio with movie video for this scene proved to be impossible, so we had to take all or nothing.
I'm going to watch this.
Whoops, one of those links ep01. Here's the 1080p for ep02: http://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=513655
At least I didn't forget to put the nyaa tracker in the torrent like last time...
Did you get a faster internet connection yet?
We are two people, I'm the one with the shit connection.
Oh wow, you actually went through with this.
Downloading and will seed.
Is it unsubbed like last time?
Subs by UTW/Meguca with small tweaks.
Thanks for making the sub.
By the way, in case you missed yesterday's thread, the first episode is also available with subs (and other major improvements) now.
That's the one in the OP, right?
God cocking dammit. I uploaded the wrong fucking file for the 720p version. Fixed: http://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=513680
I am seriously running out of the number of acceptable mistakes allotted to me.
Sorry. I'll be quadruple-checking everything I do now...
What's up with the 2gb filesize of episode 1?
As always Fancutfag(s), thanks for your hard work.
Holy shit man, what are you doing?
Also, not sure if there's anything you can do for it, but if you use Ep 1 Edition 2, the chapter markers don't line up because the OP is moved
Forgot my picture
That's actually a bug in Media Player Classic. The chapter markers realign if you jump to one of them. I'll be filing that on their trac.
There are two versions of some scenes, plus the quality is high.
I used the same (or close) bitrate of the Meguca encodes, since that's what these are sourced from.
Doing god's work anons.
Shit happens. Also you got trips of forgiveness, so it's all good.
Would you guys be interested in doing a normalfag version that just cuts out or censors the docking in the OP?
Not particularly. However, you could easily edit the chapter file to have it automatically skip over the OP.
End your miserable life.
I watched it with my mom, you can do it too.
I-I can watch it with your mom too? .///.
Heh, I use mine the same way.
God is please with your offering, Fancutfags.
Rebellion BD when?
Good work OP, watching now
Do you have a specific timetable for releasing them or is it just going to be "soon™"
We're trying to release them on Madoka Thursdays to celebrate the three-year anniversary, but this time we were late due to unexpected technical difficulties.
>Movie transformation timed perfectly to sound from the episode
Holy shit, I have never even seen this level of autism. Well done.
That's how we do most scenes (though, that particular scene is a bit special because the timing was done by ear while the others were done by comparing the frames from the movie and the episode).
Will there be a stream?
Could you add Morning Rescue? It's really not Madoka without it.
I did consider adding Morning Rescue originally, but decided against it. We didn't even discuss this with Coconut and I'm certain he wouldn't let me do that even if I wanted to.
It is supposed to be the version for autistic fans, right? Which means it's for us five guys on /a/ who've followed it since 2011, and Morning Rescue is, at least for me, just as much a part of Madoka as Kyousuke or Junko.
Maybe they should use ordered chapters and put the commercial into a separate file, and then anyone who doesn't want it can just delete the file.
That is a great idea.
No, it's supposed to be the best version we possibly can make. I understand that Morning Rescue is nostalgic for a lot of people, myself included, but the truth is that it doesn't make the show any better - it just breaks the immersion and adds nothing of value.
Do I really have to fork your release and add it myself? I guess it can't be helped.
>and Morning Rescue is, at least for me, just as much a part of Madoka as Kyousuke or Junko.
Autistic fans indeed.
Yes, that's probably a lot easier than convincing me and Coconut. I can give you the Avisynth scripts we used for these if you want.
Well, my original plan was to use bash to just add the time it takes for Morning Rescue to play to the subs, but I guess that would be better.
actually, the easiest way would be to use ordered chapters to splice it in. You wouldn't have to reencode, just change the chapter file. You would of course need an morning rescue encode that matches the resolution, audio bitrate, etc
Actually, there are multiple files now and I'm not entirely sure what to do with them because I'm new to Avisynth, so I can't give them after all until Coconut is available.
