Wait this really is a big question mark for me. Are they actually chatting without a script in a studio? Since the conversations don't at least feel directed... Then wouldn't it be awkward to call each other by their character names? Wouldn't they run out of topics? I don't really get it, it sounds too much like a radio show, but can't see how they'd do this well without direction...

Damn, thread died before I could check. Thanks anyway, that clears it quite well. Now that I think more about it, the normal club introductions do feel pretty normal. In any case, it works and I'm enjoying the hell out of the show.
