Is /a/ ready for some giant guys doing giant things?
In the last chapter, Tsubasa and his team, Barcelona won the Liga. Now we're moving on to the players who will represent in Japan in the Olympics
I present you, Captain Tsubasa Rising Sun, Chapter 2.
Last thread: http://archive.foolz.us/a/thread/99429548/
I'm surprised Tsubasa actually slept with his wife instead of the soccer ball.
Finally, we have a look at the 33 selected members.
Tachibana Twins missing due to heavy injury during the Japan-Australia match.
Tomeya Akai is busy with the Serie A.
The usual 4-4-2 first team formation.
I'm assuming this takes place after Road to 2002, right?
Is he kicking it so hard it's imploding or some shit?
Last page. See you in 2 weeks for the next chapter.
A familiar face. This is GK Espadas, from the World Youth arc making a comeback, again representing Mexico.
Captain Tsubasa > World Youth > Road to 2002 > Golden 23 > Gekito in Calcio > Gekito en la Liga > Rising Sun

Which Olympics are they supposedly going to participate?
That dude always had an exploding shot.
Madrid itself I suppose? When Golden 23 ran in 2005, I thought it was going to be the Beijing Olympics, but then the author wouldn't revisit the Olympics till now.
At the end of the G23 (2009) they indeed said the Olympics were going to be in Madrid (even when that's not an actual fact). Good choice, after the 2002 and 2006 WC, where the author mentioned real competitions that are never going to be portrayed.
We'll know with the future chapters.
I'm more concerned about who are the 10 guys getting the boot in the selection.
Kazami Shinnosuke and Furukawa Kotaro stay on the team, while Taki and Kisugi get kicked the fuck out. We're supposed to believe that they're now better than most of the RJ7, but we haven't seen them do shit since World Youth.
Just hope he learnt how to draw different expressions and to have right proportions
