>"Hey anon, you're listening to music every time I see you! Can I see your playlist?"
>3000 songs of anime OST/OP/ED only
One of my coworkers knows.
He laughs at me every day.
I'm still unable to give a fuck.
>listening to poorly-mastered shit
>mfw all my music is inaccessible hipster crap from /mu/
MY MOUTH, IS FILLED, WITH HIS OVARIEEEEEEEEEEEES
I HOLD THEM, HERE, BETWEEEEN MYYYY TEEEeeeeth
OH GET THESE BIRDS NESTS OUT OF MEEEE
>inaccessible hipster crap from /mu/
>inaccessible hipster crap
shh anon just let it happen
>inaccessible hipster crap
DONT LOSE YOUR WAY
inaccessible is the correct spelling though
>all my post-hardcore and emo/alt-rock
>"Why is all this stuff so angry and depressing? Are you okay, anon?"
good that nobody knows about thousands of harsh noise/power electronics tracks on my HDD.
When im talking to people i usually put away my phone. Plus i dont let people use my phone. My ching chong music is a secret kept safe
YOOOOOUUUUUUUU FUUUUUUUUUUCCKKKKK LIIIIIKE A RAACEEHOOORSE
Now I have to listen to that album again.
>not having a playlist with anime music and other with normalfag music.
Yes, I named a playlist "normalfag music"
>"Hey anon, you're listening to music every time I see you! Can I see your playlist?"
DON'T TOUCH ME YOU FILTHY CASUAL
Nigga I'm at over 10,000 in my anime music archive and that's unfinished.
Pretty sure my dad's heard me listening to jap shit plenty of times, even stuff by syrufit and alstroemeria records. He never brought it up though and I still have pretty similar taste in music to him as far as progressive metal, metal, hard rock, etc.
jordaan mason once helped me write a love poem for my ex girlfriend. he's such a cool guy, and a god tier lyricist
I have a few albums of weezer to switch to quickly.
Not that anyone ever asks
OUt of all that anime, you didnt bother to find any OST's? shame
Pinkerton was their only good album.
songs from the black hole > pinkerton
>listening to music outside
>listening to Jpop commercials
While I agree Pinkerton was their best, I wouldn't say it's their only good album.
Their new stuff is shit though
>not giving your animu playlist an obscure reference name that only you understand
Sorry, I only listen to breakbeat and 2step strought out of hell.
I get this from time to time. I honestly tell them what I'm listening to, though it's not often that it's anime music. Eventually, after the fifth for sixth band they've never heard of because they only listen to music on the radio, they stop asking.
I hope kaaaahn is just a 10 hour set of that star trek movie scene on repeat
Sometimes people ask what I'm listening to and I say 'Nothing.'
>not having a separate micro SD card full of your normalfag music
I just say the radio.
If they ask again I say AM radio.
They don't ask after that
>Waiting for that shit to load on my Clip+
Not thanks. I'll just tell them what I'm listening to, cause I don't give a fuck.
I listen to 2hu music.
Don't worry OP, at least there's someone worst with 2hu, videogames and anime songs only.
I've been watching for years and I have exactly 43 songs on my iPod. You are too casual about picking out the music you listen to. You disgust me.
My nigga. 2hu has got some sweet stuff, and the doujinshi music is pretty awesome too.
Not sure if the Strike Witches character albums or the Van Canto and Nanowar would be more spaghetti-inducing around normies.
I've had a drunk Dude bro barge into my dorm and demand I show him my collection of Dude bro music, none of which I possess. Out of my massive collection of 400gb of anime shit, I went to the next, random track with the volume turned all the way up. Right then and there, I laid it all on the line. I happened upon the song "The Maverick" from the Gungrave OST. He accepted me as one of his own, and I didn't blow my cover.
>Not keeping dude-bro music on hand just in case of random dude-bro brake-ins.
It's like you want to be bro raped.
>listening to anime music
most of my music in my playlist is anything I find catchy.
I have pretty much anything from t-pac and rolling stones to Mozart and Johnny cash.
including some intro themes
>mfw I cringe every time I catch myself learning the lyrics of a anime song.
I had a similar experience. Roommate walked over to try my new headphones for a minute. Realize I have Non Non Biyori OP playing. Out of reflex, hit the next random song and pray. Mfw Black Eyed Peas.
>listening to music
>mfw over 100+ idolm@ster songs in my phone
kek deaf master race
I guess not really /a/, but I memorized the TotA lyrics in Japanese when I was a teenager.
Would sing that shit all the time.
Have fun never being able to hear
>"Hey anon, you're listening to music every time I see you! Can I see your playlist?"
>3000 songs of vocaloid/meaningless shit like Electric Six and hairbands
this is my life
how does it feel to have hand movements as thoughts?
I'm sorry for your lots and that you will never hear this MASTUR PEICE!
This would first require people to talk to me, much less ask what music I'm listening to.
I have a fuckload of anime songs mixed in with a bunch of other crap.
Although for some goddamn reason anime music gets me pumped as fuck when I'm in the gym.
>mfw listening to music at work and coworker steals my ipod while this is playing
>Listening to music
>Not listening to the educational programming found on your country's national radio station, such as the CBC
ohhh god, how did he react?
find me a new lel because this one is worn out
>At friends house for some party or thing I forget
>Showing some cool app new music play i got
>try to tap any album of the thousands I have
>tap the Moest album cover there was on accident
they all laugh because they know I'm a weeb, My secret Santa for the Christmas thing got me a Rei body pillow and I love it
Don't listen to the radio much at home myself, but my parents are always listening to CBC, always real good stuff on there
Could always be worse. Could've been Juice.
I would die.
> I listen to a bunch of people circle jerk about theories they aren't even true there for I am smarter than you
He was pretty cool about and told me his sister listens to foreign music as well and said music is a universal language.
I still felt fucking embarrassed as shit and now I don't l listen to music around coworkers anymore since I'm paranoid.
What board am I on right now?
Eh, I listen to worse on a daily basis. No one ever steals my mp3 player while I'm listening to music though, cause I work with adults.
>listening to anything that faggot Rivers Cuomo makes after Pinkerton
After Matt Sharp left, they became a bunch of memespouting pop retards. They are like 40 years old and washed up, just retire already
Even if their new music is good I refuse to listen to it on principle.
I work with adults most of the time there are just a couple of people at my job that are in the 18-25 range.
you poor bastard.
id probably go in the darkest corner of the building and die a virgin cicada.
>I drive my friends around.
>always listen to the radio when I'm driving them and listen to my anime music when I'm alone.
No one can know my secret.
This literally happened to me last week.
My skiing playlist has everything from Kimi ni Mune Kyun (maria holic cover of course) to Supertramp to hard electronica.
You must just have bad taste in music if you only listen to OST's and whatnot. Not that there aren't good OSTs/OPs/EDs, but there sure as hell isn't anywhere close to 3000 good ones. Intro->Verse->Chorus->Verse->Chorus->Solo->Chorus(First 8-12 measures slightly changed)->Chorus
Find 3 melodies that sound catchy together
Get someone to write lyrics vaguely related to the anime
>Drive around with music on
>Hot summer day and sweating balls
>Too beta to roll down the window since people will hear my music
I'd rather listen to animu music than anything found on /mu/
>misusing the quote feature
Am I on /b/?
>TFW your friends listen to most of the same shit you do, so you just tell them to select whatever on your stereo.
Works well. Though once we did end up playing this driving through the streets of Seattle, though that was like, seven or eight years ago. We're all really, really white.
>Year of our Lord 2014
>Hiding your powerlevel
fuck it, if you don't wanna listen to animu/vocaloid music, get a ride from someone else
>car doesn't have air conditioning
>have to give coworkers a ride
>tell them okay, just don't touch my radio
>quickly press AMFM on wheel controls, they don't notice a thing
>halfway through the ride one of them starts fucking with the radio
>ZETSUBOTEKI NI KIMI WA KIREI SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
CAN YOU IGNORANT MOTHERFUCKERS NOT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS? FUCK. IT WAS A FIVE MINUTE CAR RIDE, IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO SIT THERE AND LISTEN TO THE TEMPTATIONS FOR FIVE FUCKING MINUTES.
>misusing the quote feature
That anon quite literally said those exact fucking words
Are you drunk, high or just really stupid?
Having no standards or self respect? Have people make false assumptions about me when I could just turn off the speakers? No thanks.
And how did he take it?
It does but I'm a poorfag and gas is expensive as shit
>turn up the volume when I feel like it, regardless of situation
Is that one of those Russian car cams?
You have to start with the lower-key ones and work your way up. Try this with the windows down next time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpoR_xlslLI
Try to take pleasure in people's curiosity and act as if you're flaunting your good taste on /a/.
He said it sounded kind of cool but the people in the back didn't like it too much so we went back to regular radio.
Sounds like you need new friends
Well, could been worse
Probably if I ever go to Russia I'm never going to get in a car there
Blue was great, Pinkerton was best, Maladroit has some good songs. Other than that it's all shit.
>walk down the street with my cans, mouthing the words to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XD9owNrp6uk
not a single fuck
Most likely. They have those cameras in their car because of the high rate of insurance fraud.
Why should you be ashamed of listening to something others don't listen to?
Wait, what? Do all cars in russia have cameras or something?
Do you guys know any good Japanese rock bands with some hardcore and metal sensibilities, yet mostly melodic?
Preferably with female vocalist, but male is fine too
No 2hu arrangements pls
>Wearing headphones outdoors
You look like a fucking fag
>presuming people care about you beyond five second impressions
Listen to Boris you nigger
Good taste nigga
Kenji is such a bro, pity he is stuck in such a average game.
Comfy as fuck, good sound quality, and they double as earmuffs since it's the middle of winter here. Come at me.
a lot of them do because of insurance fraud
This! Boris is so good...though it's not all like what you want, but a ton of it is.
I'm so sorry man
Yes because a lot of people will jump infront of cars for insurance fraud
The nigga pushes you off a roof after getting you drunk.
I'm not a weeaboo, and they don't like Jap music. I'll put on some music we all like. They'd tolerate it, doesn't mean I'm going to be obnoxious about it.
I've had at least a few anime songs on my music player since 10th grade in high school. I'm 25 now and have about 400 songs on my animu playlist, mostly stuff that I really really like.
It's not that big of a deal really.
Well god damn.
do ho ho
look where you are
They're not all drone
A good chunk of their discography is stoner/sludge metal
They also did a few j-pop/shoegaze albums if you're into that
I drive around in the summer with windows down, blasting K-On, Imas, Vocaloid, and whatever other shit I feel like.
I've gotten great reactions from people at stoplights.
Like I said, I only bother downloading it if I really like it a lot. No point in having shit I never listen to.
Hiding my powerlevel is doing me no harm. People judge, no helping it.
>"Hey anon, you're listening to music every time I see you! Can I see your playlist?"
>caring about what other people think
This post gave me cancer
Was riding with some friends to sonic one night. Before we're about to leave some white wannabe nigger highschoolers pull up close to our spot blasting some really shitty rap.
Decide we should do something
volume as high as can go
pull out of our spot and into the one right next to theirs
whole sonic parking lot can hear about "bad ass bitches bouncing on our dicks"
they are just sitting there staring at us trying to decipher whether or not we were making fun of them
God I miss living near friends.
Enjoying anime like reasonable person is a far cry from being a weeaboo. I don't wish I was Japanese, and I don't give a shit about them outside of the anime industry.
I was known for listening to Knife Party and really pump up dubstep and shit on the stereo.
suddenly someone puts cellphone on random
>MARIONETTE. MARIONETTE. TEACHERS PET.
Words can't describe it dude.
Take your impressions of people based on how they see you at your worst, if you can do better then why aren't you doing that and why didn't they do better?
Why the hell do people encourage this whole "I'm being a weeaboo and no one can stop me!" attitude? Gain some social awareness.
That's a really nice looking player. What is it?
mein nigga. Blasting "Kyun! Vampire Girl" out of my window and not giving a fuck is great.
a lot of my buddies know I like anime and have a hard for for mecha, but you have music on in your car that you all enjoy.
If you only listen to anime music that's pretty fucking sad.
>not Jibun restart
That's what you get for having friends OP isn't our 2D enough for you?
God damn, this is good.
>You should only listen to what's socially acceptable instead of what you enjoy.
Try being less of a faggot.
I am envious of their education though.
a system that rewards you for being smart and not spilling every other cent on a football team.
sage for blogshit
I was at the gym about a year ago and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNFfEoZaSQ4 started playing right as i'm getting ready for deadlifting lmao4plot!1! The god damn cord got stuck on my leg somehow as i stood up, and yanked right out of my phone. The music started blasting and I had to make a choice to drop the weight and run, or finish my reps and run. I finished my reps, racked the weight, walked out, and switched gyms the next day The worst part was, is the masses of cardio equipment all face the free weight section, so every single cardio bunny in the god damn gym had a front row view of a skinny white boy deadlifting to hyouka's glorious op.
>limiting yourself to a single genre
How can you type if you're deaf?
Remember to suppress your powerlevel. No need to flaunt it like a faggot, there's a lot more to you as a person than anime.
Must be an american thing I live in Canada and no one gave a shit about our football team.
So many other people who work in the same building as me enjoy anime/manga or have their own not so common tastes that nobody cares, it's nice.
Last time I had a co-worker ask while I had Sister's Noise playing, her response was that it still sounds good even though she couldn't understand the words.
Sage for blog.
Because generally /a/ feels socially alienated. Spending too much time alone makes you feel "off" and people can tell you are a hermit after a while. Once you are far gone enough, it feels better to just go a little bit more and forget about other people completely.
Guys join my skype group its got 5 anons in it so far add cog.jake on skype do it
>squirm like a bitch as she says 'You have a lot of japanese music on here'
I showed her some pillows because they're not 'catch you catch me' by GUMI
I never once said you can't listen to and enjoy it. Just have a little discretion in what you blast for everyone around you to hear.
They're p great
Peep this shit my nig
>Listening moonspeak music on my cellphone
>Need to get something from my wallet
>Headphones unplug accidentally
no thanks Mr. notNSA
It's Poweramp with a theme, but I don't know which. ;_;
What is your favorite artist, /a/?
Mine is Brand New and Pavement
Too bad these are considered entry-level.
Social awareness is important.
You hide your power level for the same reason you always speak to please other people, not to say the truth.
Any guitarfags know what effects he is using at the midway mark?
I like this.
>tfw listening to nano outdoors and not being ashamed
Thank god she's one of the few artists that are actually fluent in English
>You should be ashamed of the things you enjoy because they aren't socially acceptable here.
You continue to be a tremendous faggot; just stop.
What? No for real add me on skype there's people here its fun
It's already bad to be a skinny white boy in the gym but at least you can take shelter in the idea that everyone has a shitty start, but with that happening I would have done the same.
I don'r like fun. Also it's 2 Am here and I need sleep
Canadian education is probably slightly better than American. if we exclude nova scotia they would probably be slightly better than Australian and maybe the same level and UK
But its no big deal, its like being the smartest kid in the short bus
Not your blog.
That sounds like shit. Evanescence tier.
>Hey let's put Anon's ipod on the speakers.
>Pick a random song! Hee Hee!
No. I enjoy anime and all that just as much as the next guy. I just have enough self confidence that I don't need to wave it as a flag.
Fuck, now I want to buy some Boris albums.
>Riding with the homies about to hit up a bar
>We all pile in my car decide to plug in my ipod for some music
>Kendrick Lamar, Ab soul, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Naughty By nature, Wu tang clan
>Put it on shuffle,
>Decides to play heart of sword by T.M. Revolution. My only j-pop song.
>MFW when i was driving in a car full of blacks.
and we're still bros.
>Playing Project Mirai on my jap 3DS
>On the buss
>people can only stare in awe as I rhythm jam on the level of a god
Like a boss
sorry it's a habit
Oh come on that actually sounds acceptable.
Just as long as they don't look at the name.
I have an equal amount of animu music, VN OSTs and classical music.
If someone asks me what kind of music I enjoy, I just hand them my headphones with some long, very specific etude that no one would normally listen for fun but for learning a technique.
I'd follow, upon receiving my headphones back, with a little prideful smirk
When did /a/ turn into central junction for autists and neckbeards?
America and Canada actually have pretty good schooling systems.
They're not great and could be better in a lot of ways, but they're good for what they are.
After secondary/highschool America, Canada, and the UK share some of the best colleges in the world unless you're going into engineering, then you'd want to go to Australia oddly enough.
>Decides to play heart of sword by T.M. Revolution. My only j-pop song.
>Heart of Sword
>only j-pop song
get some taste
Honestly, the anime and Jap music are easier to explain to people than some of the Swedish hip-hop/swing I listen to, too.
>You have to "wave it as a flag" if you enjoy it.
Dude, you're retarded. Other faggots listen to their stupid music as loud as they want, I'm going to do it too. I'm sorry you feel shame for enjoying things and feel this need to be embarrassed while listening to music, but you're the odd one out here.
300+ albums over CDs/vinyls/and cassettes because muh demos and old black metal originals. I'm a buyfag, have been for years.
>a system that rewards you for being smart
Mah nigga. Saw them play a set with skrillex two years ago on halloween. One of the best concerts I've been too recently. Most likely the hardest I've gone.
I like anime, manga, and in fact quite a few other things about their culture. I'm also taking second year Japanese at my uni. I just go about it this way. I don't hide any of these facts but I also don't broadcast them to the world. I treat them as I treat the rest of my hobbies and interests.
Also if someone obviously doesn't give a shit about a certain topic in a conversation then fucking change the topic. I have a couple figures in plain sight in my room and almost all of my friends have asked at some point about them. I just say they are from some of my favorite shows. If they inquire more then I divulge more information, if they don't I go back to talking about other things that they are also interested in. It's called being able to hold a conversation in the interest of both parties.
Tl;DR: Learn some social skills and why should someone else have a say in what you enjoy doing.
I don't understand the question.
>implying I listen to ost/op/ed
Nah fuck that, shit was nostalgia and no fucks were given
>implying NA has anything at all
>Not having a bunch of 80's music on there in case of such an event
Learn some social skills and stop spraying your weeb, fag.
That's just being plain rude. Do you also think it's acceptable to talk on your phone really loud in a bus.
inb4 he's italian
I do feel shame for my squeaky asian music for little girls. Nothing wrong with that. Shame is what separates someone from the landwhale in their school wearing a headband and munching on pocky.
I have a fuckload of rap in my playlist along with a ton of anime songs.
If people ever saw my playlist I think it'd raise some eyebrows.
Although their education system looks pretty good from an outside point, they retain less knowledge later in life than people who have gone through the American public school system.
In fact it ranks among some of the lowest in systematic schooling systems in the long-term, because in all reality it's setting you up for a very few basic jobs and their colleges are slim-pickings.
It'd be far better to go to UK and go to the USA after secondary schooling, granted this is an ideal setting where you get into one of the top ten colleges. The USA has a lot of bad colleges but its best are the best. Hard as fuck to get into if you aren't already rich and smart along with being Native American, Black, or Hispanic too.
I once played this in traffic, blaring on my speakers with my windows down.
>mfw some gangster looking guy wound up next to me at the stop light.
Its a good system if you want to get cheap education. but cheap doesn't mean quality.
I had a Korean exchange student that could of done my AP calc homework blind folded. and he was a sophomore while I was a senior.
What happened next?
Get a car with good bass, and play this.
You really got me there
>I don't do things because complete strangers would look down on me for doing it.
Have fun with life.
Nothing, I just looked forward, waited for the light to change, and drove as if nothing was the matter.
People are infinitely more perplexed at what you do if you act as if you aren't doing anything out of the norm.
>Not the dango nigger remix
That would've been priceless
Mix 'em up niggu.
similar experience, anon.
Correct. I refuse to make an idiot out of myself when I have absolutely nothing to gain from it. Going to preach it out of me?
luv sic/dango > dango my nigga
Its more chaos jazz than anything
>find some decent AMVs
>have non-weeb playlist just in case
People don't do this?
being afraid to let others know what music you like IS a case of no self-respect.
>hey that's pretty good music, who's it by?
its like you haven't seen basedgarticunos master piece
My playlist contains virtually nothing but Miku, with a few other songs I liked mixed in here and there.
>I refuse to make an idiot out of myself
>I refuse to enjoy things because others don't like them.
No, you're doing a good enough job at making yourself look like an idiot, albeit on an Anonymous image board.
>not gaining anything doing the things you like
Are you a robot?
I made all of my acknowledged people listen to nujabes atleast once. I can pull this off.
I have the Anime Classy downloaded for both personal listening pleasure and on the off-chance my headphones unhook and decides to keep playing my music.
>listening to music in lecture
>someone walking down the aisle bumps into my laptop and knocks it out of the jack
>God Knows blares at full volume
>quit the course that very day
It's funny because I think that was one of the worst decisions of my life and for such a dumb reason too
So which OP/ED do you think that can conceal our power level if heard by normalfags?
So with that logic, If a person enjoys cosplaying at some cons, than that person should fucking cosplay in public all the time ?
Miku sucks dick 90% of the time. There are only 4 or 5 songs that are good.
Is enjoying things on your own time, in your own privacy that foreign of a concept? No one in their right mind would support a mindset of "HEY LOOK AT ME IM LISTENING TO THIS MUSIC AND NONE OF YOU CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT".
Dragon ball, apparently that one is allowed.
>watching anime with headphones on
>weird, why is this so quiet? Better turn the audio up
>headphones were never plugged, the speakers were on full volume the entire episode
>I'm in the campus library
>not investing in a good wireless headset
>No one in their right mind would support a mindset...
It's incredibly common, everyone from losers like us, to famous people, to the demonized "normies" do it.
Knock yourself on the head like a ditz and commit sudoku
What anime is the real question.
I absolutely fucking love the sound of Mikus voice. And the sheer volume of songs done with her makes it easy to find Miku music I like.
Enjoy someone accidentally intercepting your signals and hearing what you were just listening to.
>good wireless headset
No such thing exists, they all drink power and sound like dollar store headphones from 1996
That desire to kill yourself isn't embarrassment, it's the genetic prerogative to remove yourself from the gene pool and increase the quality of humankind.
My brother from another mother.
Ergo Proxy ED
How will they know that's what you're hearing if they accidentally intercepted them?
Check mate, Illuminati.
Well then, watch me keep my powerlevel under wraps and still enjoy my life. Considering how bad the word has been bastardized, I guess I am what is now considered a normie. To each his own, anon.
it was late evening and hardly anyone was around, still saw a few people though
Sore Feet Song comes to mind
shitty battery life
twice as expensive as top tier wired headphones
>having any of the 5 common sensories as thoughts
Anything by The Pillows, and Death note and DtB could pass, since they just come across as metal to most people.
This guy doesn't know he's beyond pleb
>not spending $2600+ on your headset
>treating them as disposable diapers for you ears
The OP was pretty normal if I remember correctly.
What, do you have no observation skills to see someone with a wireless USB and headset?
Enjoy walking into a pole.
Quite a good song too
Rin is about 100 times better
That's the goddamn point!
oglaf comics are so based
Shhh, he thinks he's better than other people for a dumb a reason as that. I wouldn't even bother responding to someone who thinks that way, it will only backfire.
>interacting with iCrap in any way whatsoever
Please sell your iPod, buy a walkman or something, and pirate all your music. Get that iTunes clown cunt crap out of my face.
>not posting the enhanced version
Yes, but the ED was Radiohead.
Until I'm swimming in money like scrooge mcduck, there's no way in hell I'm spending more than $300 on a pair of headphones (maybe $400 on a splurge day)
>not wearing a hood or big hat to conceal your headset
>Look around for another faggot wearing wireless headphones
>He thinks he can blend in, but I can spot a faggot listening to anime music a mile away
>Just stare at him with the slightest smirk
>Watch as he gets nervous, knowing that I know he's listening to anime music
>Wallow in the joy I get from bullying an /a/non without saying or doing anything.
I need to stop, I'm only making my dick harder by typing more.
You're on /a/, there's a very good chance you are a loser. Sure, there are statistically some outliers, but the chance you are a faggot like the rest of use is higher than the chance that you aren't
You get it. /a/ isn't de facto losers. In fact, /a/ is primarily regular guys that watch anime. That's why we're not somewhere like Gaia or MAL instead. Being on /a/ has no reflection on your life outside of here. A normalfag is someone who can't check those things temporarily at the door. It would be idiotic beyond measure to hate people just for being socially capable, after all.
>Implying Radiohead isn't worse than listening to Keions
dude, iPod classics are killer, work with foobar/clementine/whathaveyou, and have no true replacement even now
don't you go full /g/ and pull that sansa shit on me either
>Work at McDonalds
>Hear japanese as im sweeping the lobby
>some kid is watching Gintama on his laptop
>compliment him on his good tastes
and no one else around him even gave a fuck
>no true replacement for something that is literally just another product but with an apple logo and white shell
Loser? Yes, of course I am. And I'm here aren't I?
But >>100461659 being like us? No goddamn way.
The GitS soundtracks are good enough to pass for just cool foreign music.
I have no worries.
Mcdonalds workers aren't going to give much of a fuck about anything
>Say it is by Kajiura Yuki
>"Sounds like classical music"
>Last month someone said it sounded like x-mas music
Not much of a problem there really. Otherwise it's a mix of vocal trance and your average pop song. Or you can just call it J-pop and most people will understand well enough to not make you look like an asshole.
not the touch, the classic. you know, the kind with a clickwheel that was introduced in the early 2000s. It's one of the only of its kind remaining since hard drive based music players with decent capacities have vanished in favor of dinky 16GB flash shit
Gintama would be pretty funny from a non-watchers perspective. It's not over the top with anything that gives anime a bad name and has good comedy.
Fuck yeah! GitS has some awesome music.
I'm so pissed at what they did to the nano.
>everyone on base is a massive weeaboo with the only exception being warrant officers and civsec
>listen to anime music all I want in public and nobody even cares
It's like /a/ mansion except not horribly disgusting and unhygienic, unless you get anywhere near a house. Those people don't know how to fucking clean their shit I went in to one and the guy had maggots in the sink.
My favorite track has got to be Be Human.
When it plays in show it makes the scene it's in so bittersweet.
I'm a self proclaimed hip hop enthusiast with /mu/ stuff and pleb stuff on the side.
Less than 2% of my music is anime related, Macross Plus' OST is my favorite.
I'm working part-time as a lifeguard over break because being a poor student sucks.
On my way in a few weeks ago, I started listening to the Sora no Woto OST because it has some cool, not super peppy generic Jpop songs.
Coworker ran into me on during the walk from the church a few blocks down (they offered parking for staff so we can keep room in the pool lot on busy days).
I was still on the OP, but it sounds decent enough that I wasn't worried about "LOL U DWEEB YOLO SWAG #NERDS".
And the first thing he asks; "Who's your favorite Woto?"
We're both Noel fans.
I've made my first new friend in five years.
Sometimes it's okay to not hide your powerlevel.
Never forget that enjoying anime doesn't make you a loser. You have as much of an obligation to share it as you do for what you fapped to last night. Keeping secrets aren't a sign of insecurity, and being confident in yourself doesn't mean flaunting anything. Ignore the socially impaired.
Not him but have you listened to them? I tried to start them since they are apparently "so great" but every song sucked except for one, the best one on there was "Creep". The single. The mass-market appeal song. The song that even Yorke goddamn hates.
Oh shit, kinda forgot to mention the most important part; when he ran into me the first thing he did was grab the earbud out of my ear and start listening. I'm not so daft as to walk around blaring music for all to hear.
Yeah, Be Human is really good. I still get chills when I listen to Making of a Cyborg though. Holy fuck, that song.
Made up story, no one likes SnW.
>listen to a non-sfw playlist in public or with company
It's like you want to be caught listening to weeb music
The Original Movie's soundtrack takes some getting used to, it's really good but it's still not easy listening. Innocence had some amazing tracks.
>River of Crystals
>That bell song
>The assault on the ship song.
>So which OP/ED do you think that can conceal our power level if heard by normalfags?
Never said anything about quality. I do remember liking some tracks from OK Computer though.
>It's like I don't care what people think about my taste in music because why should I? I don't give a fuck about what they listen to, and some random fucker on the street doesn't care what some other random fucker on the street listens to.
Can't say I've listened to that album a lot, but I'll give it a shot tomorrow.
Haha fuck you.
Actually I was pretty surprised too. The guy is obviously a bit on the nerdy side but I was expecting that if anything he would only watch big 3.
I'll probably stop dropping subtle /a/ references to see if he's secretly a little girl too. Because, y'know, none of us can just ask someone something.
>New manager plays nothing but Rihanna at work for some reason
>Suggest Beyonce because
>since he can't into English he keeps going lolwut
>Pull out phone
>Neptune Sagashite complete with faget neps album cover showing on the screen
>Manager sees the moonrunes and asks me what the fuck
>Tell him i listen to anything as long as it sounds good
>End up listening to him rap in Bengali later
It's 2014. I don't even know why people still freak out over listening to weeb music instead of just telling people point blank that that's what you like and that's that.
>"Hey anon what are you listening to"
>Unplugs my headphones
>IIIIII LOOOOOOVE YOU JESUUUUUUS CHRIIIIIIST
I just like to put this on in the background of whatever I'm doing. It's very calming.
Fucking /mu/ and you're Christian potato girls.
>All this "don't let people decide what you listen too" versus "hide ur powerlevel at all costs."
Guys, I can see why someone would want to be secretive, but I also see the appeal of just not caring and just brushing it off.
What we REALLY need to do is put this bullshit to rest and agree that the real faggots are the ones who walk around with the Haruhi ED playing out loud and stopping to do the dance wearing their Naturo headbands.
Higashi no eden OP
Yeah, I gave that one a listen, it's pretty chill. I could seen setting this up with a couple other sets of songs my friends and I listen to when we smoke cigars.
I do that, too
>Music stops playing
Do people really ask you that? Where do you live? Isn't personal space a thing there?
There's an Engrish version of "My favorite things" on one of the albums that would be great for that.
Also What's it Really For would be good for that.
The Speedgrapher OP
Well the other guy was saying Radiohead was worse than Keions which yeah I can see, but now I think he meant in terms of how it reflects on the listener and that's probably true as well.
I never got as far as O.K. Computer, I'm reluctant to keep going.
Fucking Speed Grapher. I gotta rewatch that at some point.
I'll look into it again. Apparently I don't remember the albums as well as I thought.
Apparently it's a big thing for the younger ones to show off what songs they have on their ipuds to each other. But I've got no experience with it.
I only got halfway through the series before stopping.
The first part was pretty cool, those first battles had actual thought put into how the MC would use his powers.
GIRLS ON FILM
iStuff has done this with the built-in player since like iOS 2 or something and I'm pretty sure the default android player does too. what kind of shit-tier phone doesn't?
>What's your favorite band/album?
Goddammit, I'm a very selective hearer and basically never have more than 3 songs of a band I regularily listen to
I sometimes listen to the soundtrack of Rance games while driving, and sometimes I've even gotten compliments and positive remarks whenever I pick someone up.
Little do they know they're listening to the BGM of a porn game
Is she defrosted yet
>mfw I was listening to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTY_Ex0csXo and this retarded hipster chick next to me thinks it's classical piano
>hiding your powerlevel
I ride around on my bike and blast jpop from my portable speakers that I have on either side of my backpack.
And I love it.
God I love Eurobeat.
Nope, and Rance Quest isn't translated yet either as far as I know. VI neither. But hey, at least Rance IX is gonna come out soon.
I don't bother concealing my power level.
People didn't like me when I wasn't a weaboo, so I don't have any reason they'll start liking me if I continued to suppress it. Fuck 'em.
I forgot MS had pretty decent music.
I wouldn't say "anime music" is a single genre.
I'm here all night nigga
Oh, trust me, I've got several gigs of Eurobeat. You keep doing your thing though, this thread could use some fun music.
Man, that shouldn't sound as good as it does.
>only anime music I have on computer are the Samurai Champloo, Kaiba, and Tekkonkinkreet OSTs
Not like anyone ever inquires what I listen to ever.
>be listening to FF7/8 piano collections in high school http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2695ravtf-U
>bitch teacher spreads rumor that i'm a fucking weirdo who listens classical music
>same teacher assumes new Chinese import is a genius who listens to classical music and compliments him for it
>find out later he listens to rap
I really fucking love this show, the hype is tremendous, every race feels great, and the characters are all loveable.
Throw some eurobeat my way
Sorry, wrong one.
I'm sure it will get better.
Forgot to link my favorite AMV
2big4me, i'll find an another way
Ever blast Eurobeat while driving?
That shit should be banned by international law.
>Ever blast Eurobeat while driving?
Only most of the time. I change it up, but I've always got Eurobeat ready to play. It's just so god damn fun and I always know what to expect when listening to it. Some people don't like that, but I love it.
>tfw I can't get new music like I used to do because /mu/ is shit
Once I blasted this in my car, shit was awesome; even my no-weeb friends kinda liked it. The bass is great.
This, the only good Miku stuff is by Go-qualia, Oort Cloud is fucking great.
I'm not sure if I would be more or less ashamed of that than what I'm actually listening to everytime anyone at work sees me with headphones on...
Its all podcasts. Most of them filthy liberal NPR podcasts.
I listen to prog rock albums I don't give a fuck
