So who am I supposed to cheer for here? Aside from the crazies they're all pretty likable.
>So who am I supposed to cheer for here?
It's not like you don't know how it ends.
It's been on my backlog for almost two years now
I think he means the main VN. You've read the VN, right?
For a moment, I thought the OP image was some kind of weird Fate x LoL parody.
But team KUURU was the best
I make it a point to read after I watch. don't ask me why
What the hell is wrong with Caster and Saber's faces in this?
Prequels are generally read/watched after, not before.
Sequels, you mean?
Both, but the latter isn't relevant to this discussion.
Why is Alexander the Great more like a Viking than a Greek?
Because you don't know what vikings or greeks look like.
Wait, so you watch prequels before original works, and adaptations before original mediums?
Fate/Zero is the first of any medium of that series that I've watched
I'd ask if I really need to tell you to kill yourself, but I think that yes, I do.
That's...strange. It sorta expects you to be familiar with Fate/Stay Night. I suppose it will be fine, though.
Note that the Fate/Stay Night anime has gained significant notoriety for not being very good at all. I really heavily suggest that, if you don't read Fate/Zero, at least do yourself a favor and read Fate/Stay Night first.
Ok but after I finish watching
So far it doesn't seem like I'm missing out, but I could be wrong
Okay. Go ahead. Just read Fate/Stay Night before you watch it.
Then read it twice more, because that's how the different girls' routes work. You read through, Shirou falls in love with Saber. The next time you start, it's a tiny bit different and you can fall in love with Tohsaka. Then Sakura.
>but I could be wrong
You are. Just don't come back and complain that you didn't understand the ending. Also, don't be surprised if certain reveals in Fate/Stay night get spoiled for you in Zero.
There's some stuff, particularly at the end, that won't really make sense without having read the LN because they changed something or left something out. And despite what /a/ tells you, you don't absolutely have to read F/SN to watch F/Z if you really don't want to but if you're willing to read it you should do that first. Just because what F/SN spoils for F/Z isn't as big of a deal as what F/Z spoils for F/SN, although a lot of it is spoiled right at the beginning of F/Z so it might be moot point if you've already started F/Z. And not having read the VN and the LN will make discussing the series on /a/ difficult sometimes.
The real issue at hand is that he didn't realise F/SN came first.
Why isn't there an image called Bait/Stay Night?
As someone who didn't watch or read F/SN before watching F/Z; I can say that it's fine to watch F/Z before reading or waiting until April for the remake of F/SN.
Just stay away from anything close to DEEN.
Pretty much this though I didn't exactly hear good things about SN either
F/SN spoils far more in Fate/Zero than the opposite. I almost envy OP for being able to watch Fate/Zero while actually rooting for a winner.
>As someone who didn't watch or read F/SN before
How would tha twork?
It's kind of nice I must admit
Alexander the Great is the best bro
Gilgamesh is a glorious gold god
Saber is a shit
Being lancer is suffering
As long as you don't cheer for saber in any Fate series you are ok.
I'm golden on that. She's obnoxious
You should be aware that Gilgamesh is strong enough to end the war in one night.
hes the america of fate/zero
Rider and lancer.
>>Do you have enough bait king of fish?
We have statues of the latter and whatever art the former produced, /a/non. Yeah, idealised but still.
Yeah, you don't need to care about Fate/Stay Night at all. Fate/Zero is pretty much a standalone thing. There are a couple references to FSN at the end of FZ, but it really doesn't matter.
I will say the FSN VA was actually all right. The translation was shit and needed an editor pretty badly, but the story was interesting.
>Tokiomi=never did anything relevant
>Kariya=Dumb as brick
>Any master from F/Z
i think OP more meant the heroic warriors
Waver is not annoying.
yes he is
He was annoying to start off with but he became likeable fast.
you say that like it is a bad thing.
he seemed like a nice guy aside from...you know
