We've known each other for a long time Anonymous, and been through a lot of good times and bad times together. I finally decided you are the one I want to spend the rest of my life with Anonymous! Will you marry me?
sure, why not
TITS OR GTFO
Let me keep it simple: Your breasts are too small.
more dfc plz
WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!? What the fuck did you do with my violent and bitchy dominatrix? I DON'T KNOW YOU ANYMORE!
get the fuck out faggot!
I wouldn't have any problems. See, half the time Saito gets his ass handed to him, it's because he's staring at some other chick's rack.
Louise has all the chest I could ever want.
Sorry I'm kinda stuck in a relationship, I mean were serious, but like if you won't turn off when I stick it in, we can work something out.
No. Go to hell. Marriage is a fate worse than death.
I'd knead Louse's delicious flat chest, if you know what I mean.
In before, Askeladd
Cock goes where?
in the condom she's holding. you don't want any of her STDs
Where'd that condom come from in a world set in 13th century-like technology.
I'll take your older sister thanks.
The second season wasn't that bad. I actually got a little teary at the end there, so the last part was done right, anyway.
I'd like to read the novels, but yeah, moonspeak is hard.
the end was epic until the
LULZ SAITO DIDN'T DIE
Depends. Are you willing to go through the basic marriage rites of my world? It involves this meido outfit, and lots of K-Y jelly.
Yeah, when she went back into tsun mode, it was a weak finish, but things were going very well in that last episode for a while there. If they were going to bring him back to life, they could have at least explained how that was possible, apart from 'lol an elf with big boobs brought me back to life'.
The light novel explains it better.
That's pretty much what happened, the problem is that they skipped:
-Any introduction to what elves are (The old rulers of the planet who wielded ancient magic different from current mages and where displaced by humans)
-How the fuck he got to that forest.
-The months he spent getting his shit together.
-The loss of the Familiar contract.
-Louise's long terminal depression and suicide attempt.
-Louise and Siesta's journey to Albion.
-How Saito decided to finally return to Louise when she used Summon familiar again.
Boring and unnecessary. Everybody knows bouncing elf boobs bring you back to life. I mean...I'd come back from beyond the grave for that.
Sounds like you could make a whole season out of that alone.
If they spent fewer than 8 or 9 episodes on airy fanservice and BAKA INU, they might have made a really good show. Is this part translated yet?
Could have been a awesome season right there.
whats this anime?
in b4 boku no bible toads and the such
Fuck! I want the novels now.
Zero no goddamn tsukaima
Also, lurk moar.
Actually, it's mostly Saito having one of his worst bouts of inferiority complex ever coupled with a lot of Louise bawwing. The only really good part before the end for me was when Guiche decided to make a commemorative statue in Saito's honor.
Louise is moe when she bawwws. Most of the time she's got that AT field up, but when she breaks down, it's impossible not to feel bad for her...
Saito was a bit of an asshat during his rehab, honestly. He didn't want to go back without his powers because he was useless as such, but he went too fucking far when he made Tiffania fake a tomb for him with his jacket just to fool Louise and Siesta.
Isn't Guiche gay for Saito as well?
No, but he considered him a nice guy and friend and, like everyone else who ran from Albion, pretty much owed him his life.
Julio is the one who swings in both directions.
I laugh when Louise cries, as she is a bitch and thus deserves it.
when does the new season start?
Guiche isn't gay. He's practically Man-toko.
Picture of her doing such, please?
I'd like to see for myself.
IIRC S1 started in July, S2 started in July, so i'm assuming S3 is starting in July.
So I'm not the only one who wants to snuggle all that fluffy pink hair, right?
One of the things I missed the most from the anime was the dialogue between Saito and Delf right before the 70,000 men battle. Saito's monologue was touching, but the best part was what went like:
Saito: "Well, you know, if the last Gandalfr beat up an army of 10,000, maybe 70,000 is not entirely impossible."
Delfringer: "Ahhh, well, you know... It might have not been actually 10,000... you know how legends like to exaggerate and all"
Saito: "...Well, fuck, don't tell me that NOW you asshat!"
>-How the fuck he got to that forest.
>-The months he spent getting his shit together.
This could easily be covered in S3.
>-The loss of the Familiar contract.
This only really needs a mention and will come up in S3.
>-Louise's long terminal depression and suicide attempt.
If I could meet a girl like Louise i'd marry her in an instant.
There wasn't that much BAKA INU in S2. They wasted too much time developing Henrietta and Seista, everything else was good.
Ending wasn't exactly the greatest either.
But he has a thing for Belldandy, I mean, Verdandi.
>>This could easily be covered in S3.
Not when HE'S ALREADY BACK
>>This only really needs a mention and will come up in S3.
How the hell would they do that? He got his powers back when Louise was about to be killed and she used the Summon Familiar spell in desperation even though she though Saito was dead.
>>They really don't need to go that far with it, it was clear she was depressed and that a long time had passed. However, this could easily be covered in S3.
Once again, HE'S BACK ALREADY. She went over to fucking Albion for him and for once in her goddamn life shed all the Noble-induced superiority bullshit, which was a major character development factor for her.
>>Probably not that important, although if it does have some real significance i'm sure you'll correct me.
Well, that essentially is the part where they introduce mostly everything from the main plot, such as the four Void Familiar legend, the importance of the Founder Items, the Holy land, etc. Also, see above for Louise. Crying in her sister's lap in a room on her school and dragging her ass across the sea with only a commoner for companion don't quite match the level of dedication.
>>How is this important?
Well, there's the MASSIVE point to Saito's character that the anime somehow missed entirely: Guy has shit confidence. Without his powers, he was worthless, but for the first time in his life he chose not to sit on his ass and moan and actively began to train his ass off to become strong in his own right. And even when he had achieved little, he still threw himself at the portal because Louise needed him. This is pretty relevant when coupled with his depression after the seal removal and how he does the same even then.
i want a tsundere no tsukaima S3 this year
I almost forgot about that thing. I still don't see why he feels the need to try and fuck other girls when he has Montmo, but no he's definately not a fag, at least not in the homosexual use of the term.
Just curious.. how was it 'clear that a long time had passed'? They faded it to the academy upon his 'death'. For all intents or purposes, it could've been a week from how it was portrayed.
Guiche is fabulous, but heterosexual.
Fabulously hetero, then?
Rie Kugimiya and the Saito+Yuuji VA are fucking awesome.
NEXT UP, ShanaxYuuji.
Well, probably won't happen since it never happened even in the novels.
Him being back already clearly would not stop them from flashing back to it, although since they changed the circumstances which caused his return obviously they won't be able to.
You made a bunch of statements without giving any clue of why it's significant to anyone who isn't familiar with the novels, hence why I challenged it. Seeing the full explanation i'll concede to your points.
if they do a S3 they should make the end of S2 a dream
Maybe I read into it differently. It seemed like it was at least a couple of months to me. Regardless, now that the other guy elaborated, I pretty much have no defense for anything.
heh.. don't you hate it when that happens? Oh well, your sacrifice was noble. Now we all know.
That actually wouldn't be that bad of an idea. I'm pretty sure they just went that route because they didn't want to give it an ultra depressing ending and didn't know if they would be doing an S3.
Question is: Who's dream would it be then? Can't be Louise's.. she'd be too depressed.. and seeing as she wouldn't be aware of any busty elves..
They could have just ended the thing with Tiffania reviving Saito. It was obvious there would be a following season anyway and since they left essentially every other plot point hanging, I doubt a cliffhanger ending would have bothered them much.
It's not that bad. Honestly i'd rather lose an argument for good reasons then fight a typical one where the other person just ignores everything and shitstorm ensues.
It also convinced me to buy the novels when they start coming out, and judging from what he's saying, they'll probably be worth it.
A cliffhanger would've resulted in a demand for a third season; it would've been in their favor.
First few episodes of S3 should be a redo of the end in the 2nd season and just covering up all the fucking shit they missed.
about time. me kitchen was looking alittle vacant.
About Saito's obsession with strength: He tells delfringer a story just before the 70,000 battle starts. When he was young, he saw an old lady being harrased by a thug. You know, the typical "You bumped on me so I'll blow my top and mess you up just because I like to cause trouble" thug. Nobody helped the woman, and neither did he. He thought at the time that it was okay because he was weak anyway and could do nothing. He was conflicted about being weak, but at the same time feared becoming strong, because his weakness was his excuse for not getting involved. So he thinks "I'm Gandalfr now. I'm strong, very strong. I've got no excuse anymore. But shit, I really don't want to die" (If you've played Tales of the Abyss, think Luke right before he attempts to kill himself to destroy the miasma in the tower. Same "Shit, I liked life after all" moment).
The problem is that after the battle, he doesn't want his excuse anymore, but he lost his strength, so he feels there's no worth to him unless he becomes strong again.
Shit, Season 2 fucking raped his personality then. From profound thinker to 'lol bewbz'.
Eagerly awating to see how they manage to fuck up his multitasking Shit-Talking Louise/Killing a Giant Golem/Making out with Tabitha all at the same time in S3.
I don't have much trust/faith in marriage anymore. Its trite and lost all its original meaning.
They fucked up Yuuji like this also, didn't they? He had a lot more backbone and willingness to act during the novels, while Season 2 was 20 episodes of him portraying a Shirou mkII of 'You lost me.' to everything that happened around him, and panicking like a bitch.
One can be a profound thinker and still be partial to chicks with big racks. It's not like he was getting distracted while fighting off that huge army by mental images of boobs. He usually only allows his mind to stray when there's nothing of importance going on.
Yeah, but they hammed it up in Season 2, you can't deny that.
He's still learning, idiot. You want him to suddenly wake up one day and OH MY GOD FROM NOW ON I'M GAR LULZ!!!!1?
Damn, the novels sound x1000 times deeper and involved then the anime.
He's fairly fatalistic in the novels, but doesn't emo as hard. And yeah, the biggest selling point to his character is his wits, the whole "Oh hey, a girl is jumping my cock and the other two girls who were doing the same act pissed, I wonder what could be the problem" part was fucking ridiculous.
Saito is passably lecherous doing everyday life, which is one of the two reasons Louise doubts his feelings for her, the other being the familiar seal (Despite the fact that he's openly and clearly told her he loves her to her face a hundred times). He's chronically distracted by girls with giant racks and even goes as far as to nickname Tiffania "Bust Revolution" because he's never seen a girl with breasts so big.
On the other hand, he's got all his wits intact when it matters. He's very tactful when he refuses Siesta's attempt to sleep with him, realizes Henrietta is just jumping him on the rebound when she does the same and lets her down just as gently, and definitely doesn't start talking about chicks in critical or emotional situations.
looks like saito is 10 times more gar in the novels
Perhaps the same could be said of ALL source material.
Shit, you fucker, that made me spit-take my drink. lol
Because of this thread, I watched the first episode of ZNT S1.
Gallia (lol) doesn't work that way!
What the fuck ever happen to the third season. The last episode was all like, "lol hey i'm this random character that has some signifigant aspect on the storyline and saito's powers. LOL well see you around". Probally be here the same time as the next season of haruhi.
It would have been a really shitty end for the second season if no third season ever got made though. It might not have even been on the table when they made the decision either.
That was the only real problem I had with S2, they basically reverted him to Ataru Moroboshi in most of the episodes with him chasing after girls. He wasn't that way in the first series, and it was out of character.
> One can be a profound thinker and still be partial to chicks with big racks.
Why is he so close with Lousie then?
Because he loves her. His reason for doing so is expressed through a lot of shit-talking and screaming while riding a dragon and facing a giant golem bent on killing them, but the general gist is "I don't know, but I do so just shut the fuck up already and trust me". Paraphrased, but the tone and intention is there.
That's about a minute before he makes out with Tabitha. Mid-battle.
He obviously likes the DFC, he said Louise was attractive at the beginning of the series. Plus if he's making out with Tabitha that only supports it further.
Why the fuck was her making out with her during a battle though?
I suppose he phrased it like that as a joke. While the whole Seal removal thing that made Saito depressed was going on, there was also the issue of Louise being incapable of casting her Void magic. Her spells had exhausted all the energy she had accumulated over the years and she didn't have the strength to power them anymore.
Tabitha figures out that her emotions play a big role on this, so she shoves down her tongue down Saito's throat on purpose. Louise rages (She was particularily volatile after Saito's monologue on how much she sucked) and her anger gives her all the strength she needed to use Zero. Dead golem.
So she quite literally 'RAAAAAAGEEE'd. ..That's hilarious.
You forgot the awesome conclussion. Having had him both insult her beyond any semblance of respect and make out with another girl, back in the school what is Louise's reaction?
Pretend that she's also under some spell by the familiar contract, corner Saito in a room and begin making out with him. Saito going "Whaaaaatever, c'mere".
is S3 confirmed? or still just rumor
I need to start reading these books.
Fuck, Saito, you genius of a fortuitous bastard.
S3 is confirmed for Brawl .
No. I have chosen someone else.
we really need some fucking book translations.
Finished the second series ten minutes ago, and having read this I now understand why I felt there were so many stuff that didn't make sense. A couple of episodes of nothing then the next episode introduces Louise's fiancee and Saito's opponent in love, the new villain who is the MASTERMIND of everything, kill off the princess' love, and reveals that the villain is actually the supercaptain of every DRAGONFORCE in the world, Louise's fiancee (this would be first season though).
I did like most of the last episode though, although I'm trying to forget the very last sequences.
They're licensed and should start coming out around the end of the year.
Why does anyone like Siesta anyways?
Baka Tsuki still working on CLANNAIDS?
>although I'm trying to forget the very last sequences.
I fucking love siesta, who doesn't?
Novels are heading towards three-some Louise/Siesta/Saito ending.
I love maids. And Siesta's a hottie. But at this point it just feels like she's getting in the way of proper development. At least, that's how I see it.
>>But at this point it just feels like she's getting in the way of proper development. At least, that's how I see it.
Congrats Siesta, you're the new Yoshida, now use the fucking hougu and die.
I don't. Dishonest bitch is dishonest.
I've always been amused by how ultimately contrasting both the series are. We have the DFC tsundere magical girl, the human dude with a destiny and seems to attract the attention of all the girls, and later wields a massive sword, and we have the 'other woman' with big tits, who latched onto the leading male also.
Plus the fucking cast has the same voice-actors in almost every single role. And the art is fucking identical also.
..Shit. ZnT is basically just SnS in the magical world rather than human world.
Why does everyone hate Yoshida so much? I haven't started the second season yet, but from the first season, I haven't seen any reason to dislike her.
I don't see why she should keep interfering in s3. I mean, part of the reason why she kept "BLAH BLAH SEXXING MAH SAITO TIEM" was because she 'realized' that she and Louise were both on equal ground, that Saito had the same feelings for both of them. Then he went and married Louise.
Louise 1 - Siesta 0
> Congrats Siesta, you're the new Yoshida
That's harsh. Siesta isn't nearly as shitty as Yoshida. She -is- a secondary love interest, but I don't think she's there just for the sake of being a nuisance.
She whines too much, gets in the way of actual development between the leads, brings absolutely nothing to the table in terms of character or relevance to plot. She's just.. there. Forcibly, so.
Wow...I definitely need to check out the novels when they're released. Thanks informative Anon
If only some flatchested tsundere could summon me to her magical world, kiss me and then use a magic spell to make me understand her language, then I'd be able to read these goddamn novels.
(in b4 LOL HE CANT READ ONLY SPEAK LOLFAGET.)
Give Kasumi a break, she's together with Saito and Yuuji on the character dissection.
Saito's current harem includes:
Anon haet intrigue of the emotional kind and feels only characters that "contribute" should be in a show.
Saito actually learned how to manipulate the spell to work as a kind of highly-accurate but slightly off Babelfish, so he can read. Mostly.
What intrigue? She basically tails Shana around during those emotional moments and 'learns about love' at the same time as she does, while they both agree to 'lol let's do our best to cockblock each other'.
All this so-called intrigue could just as easilly be pulled off with Shana on her own. Again, Yoshida's just there, needlessly so. You could copy-paste her into any scenario in the entire series and it would be 'relevant to her character' based solely on the fact that she has none. She just stands there feeling sorry for herself all the time, and mumbles out the occasional boring line.
>She just stands there feeling sorry for herself all the time, and mumbles out the occasional boring line.
Anon also hates characters that remind him of himself.
She leagues more likable in the novel.
And now you're just trolling.
Wait, wut? If he just got Siesta out of the mix he'd have a nice Harem there.
Her presence in the first series was something which seemed to ground Yuuji and keep him "human"/ When she started cooperating with the Flame Haze it seemed to make her more useful to the overall plot. She's also a catalyst for Shana because she doesn't start to show feelings for Yuuji until her relationship is threatened by Yoshida's presence.
I don't have a problem with her, I would say I probably like her more than Shana at this point, but I haven't seen the second series.
This is true, but Anon is not a Loli with big boobs, so she doesn't remind anon of himself. Go post that in a Shinji-bashing thread.
I never had a problem with her in the first season. It worked then. But the second season just makes her out to be as I listed. Now, apparently she's better in the novels, which is fine by me - I can accept that much - but it still doesn't change the fact that she's disliked for aforementioned reasons, if only because of the second series.
Okay, faggot, how's this:
Yoshida is a character who is a microcosm of the dilemma of Yuuji. The more he delves into the supernatural and shit, the more of his old life he leaves behind. His growing estrangement with Yoshida is symbolic of that.
Eh, fair enough. Maybe i'll agree with you when I watch the second season.
Fuck off i will never marry someone with the same name as my sister.
Your sister's name is Louise Françoise le Blah Blah Blah de la Vallière?
Oh look, you can actually form an actual opinion which isn't a failed generalizing one-liner. Was that really so hard? No? Then next time just say that. Again, I had no problem with her presence when it actually served a purpose, but as of late in the anime, she's just not cutting it.
'Sides, if the novels are anything to go by, then her role, according to you, is completely useless now, as Yuuji has no only embraced the supernatural world; he's also decided on what girl he wants.
yeah and she is a tsundere pink-haired loli
Pics and phone number plox.
Your parents must hate you both, huh? 'Blah Blah Blah' is a terrible middle name.
Yeah, more or less. She gives up on him too, so the whole metaphoric thing served its purpose.
I see. So.. we good? Kinda hard to dispute either opinion if she's done that.
I would think having a sister and wife with the same name would be good. That way if you accidentally say your sister's name while fucking your wife she'll never notice.
Also if you're fucking your sister as well, you won't mess up the other way either.
I approve of this logic.
