What's the point of Miyuki? She never does anything with the other girls and no one likes her.
>>
The mangaka had a glasses fetish.
>>
She got dem tittays to balance out the flatness.
>>
Every SoL needs a 4th character to just take up space.
>>
>>100433640
She's there to round out the cast, but they apparently didn't have much inspiration to actually write about her well.

Kind of reminds me of Dororo in the Keroro manga, who's barely used for jokes in a comedy series.

She was a forecast for existance of Yuno Gasai, a character as awful and pointless as Miyuki.

Oh enlighten us master, of how importance it is to the series to contain all-scheme yandere girl without any personality, nor visual novelity!

Would have been nice if she had been more elaborate, but that would have required more effort than what they probably decided they would put into it. But they treated her right, it's Lucky Star, they weren't going to do something retarded and ruin the anime or anything.
>>
>>100434048
How does her archetype matter at all? Yuno is important in the series because she's the one that makes Yukiteru win. If she hadn't been there for him all the time, he would have died in the very first episode by 3rd. She also made him a man. Without her, Mirai Nikki as it is would not exist.
>>
>>100434167
>Without her, Mirai Nikki as it is would not exist.

Did you just put a hate on character you are defending?
>>
>>100434319
How it that putting 'a hate' on her? It's true, she's the most active character of the series.
>>
>>100434371
>Without her, Mirai Nikki as it is would not exist.
>Mirai Nikki would not exist.

She shouldn't even been created then.

This applies to at least half of any given anime cast

Are you fucking kidding me? Yuno is the protagonist. Yukki was her bitch the whole time and you know this. And why pull her up out of nowhere?
>>
>>100434437
You know, if a character is so important that the series would fall off completely if you took her out, how can she be pointless?
>>
>>100434510
If a bad character is important to a bad series, how is that a good thing?
>>
Eye candy. Soft and fluffy eye candy.
Her presence also brings the breast average of the main cast to something above perflat.
>>
>>100433640
She's that smart friend you only used to hang out with because you could get answers off them.
>>
>>100434558
If you backpedal any harder you'll travel back in time, anon. And 'good' and 'bad' are subjective adjectives. Surprising, I know.
>>
Tits
>>
>>100434700
Ok let's put that to your likening then.
>If a bad character is important to a good(?) series, how is that a good thing?
>>
>>100434861
I'm talking about 'bad character' being subjective too. Let me remind you that this argument is about Yuno being pointless or not. So: How is she pointless if she's so important that the series wouldn't exist without her?
>>
>>100433640
She was the only part of the show I disliked
>>
>>100434946
The series might've been ->actually<- good if the so called protagonist wasn't badly written pile of 0 persona?
>>
>>100434048

Yuno WAS the series. she is the whole reason why everything happened. did you even watch it?
>>
>>100435091
Stop trying to distract me from your original claim. Answer the question.
>>
>>100435127
This is the answer. She's pointless because they could do whatever they wanted with her characteristic and the series would stay the same. She could've been actual agglomeration of different personality traits, instead of doing dumb stereotype yandere, with outdated look.

Making an important character so easy to change on any level is making the character not important at all.
>>
>>100435310
That's not how pointlessness works. She is the way she is. And she's important that way.

She as a character is important, even if some of her personality traits are not. Had she been missing and the series would not exist, not the way it is.
>>
>>100435595
The character is what it's personality(major) and looks(minor) is. If the heroine's traits can be changed on whichever way you like it makes her a pointless character. MK is not Toradora. Yuno's dere scheme isn't the main plot rail.
>>
>>100435800
point•less (ˈpɔɪnt lɪs)

adj.
1. without relevance or force; meaningless; useless.
2. serving no useful purpose;

In other words, pointless means that it can be REMOVED without any consequence, rather than REPLACED or CHANGED.

If you take Yuno out of the show, it all crumbles. That alone makes her an important character. Not to mention that she always keeps the story moving forward.

The End.

Too many people hate on Miyuki. She's cute.
Her breastmilk probably tastes like cherries, or strawberry milk.
