ITT: Anime music that gives you profound feels
Anon you wanna make me cry again?
>not having feels at Asunaki Tabi
It hits me with feelings of immense nostalgia and haunting melancholy.
Gankutsuou's giant armor duel scene.
Oh good choice.
That song gets me every time.
Why did Rei had to play hero and sacrifice himself meaninglessly? Had he waited 5 minutes for Ken, he wouldn't have had to die in such a pathetic way.
>dango dango dango dango dango daikazoku
>Dat song that plays after the credits roll in Gintama: Kanketsu-hen - Yorozuya yo Eien Nare
Every. fucking. time.
>Not having feels
HANA GA SAITA YO
I really wish the AnH anime had been better. That amazing ED is totally wasted.
Not like Ken didn't warn him
I loved the anime, the backdrops were some of the best I've seen, and animation was great too, something a bit more interesting than the average moeshit that is being made monthly.
The animation was very poorly done. The idea of using rotoscoping was good, but the execution was very poor. Everything else was good, but the animation made it unwatchable for me.
Clannad has such a good soundtrack.
I liked it
I respect your opinion, friend, even if I disagree.
The Star of Justice lives and dies for friendship
Let me explain the stigma behind feels to you, and everyone for that matter.
The thing is, is feels aren't a /v/ or /a/ only phenomenon, but with video games and the /v/ crowd - because video games are less likely to cause you to experience deep feels / meaningful feels, they often make up for it by creating threads that deal with feeling emotion etc etc
The whole "feels" trend originated in /b/, not /v/, but it's often associated with /v/ because /v/ picked up on it quicker than any other board, however the problem is, is that normalfaggotry was the biggest perpetrator of "feels" threads that had NO relation to video games whatsoever, and was thereon deemed unnecessary and/or even downright detested / cancerous - as it was essentially like admitting you're a newfag due to not knowing / lurking long enough to know that feels were something people from outside 4chan like to talk about. "feels" was then brought to websites outside of 4chan, where it mutated and transformed into something serious, instead of reaming the light hearted joke it was supposed to be.
Now comes /a/, which naturally of course, is a board dedicated to anime, and unfortunately, emotional discourse comes with the territory as anime and manga are capable of bringing people to tears much more easily than video games, however the association of "feels" and the stigma attached to it never really left /v/ even though it doesn't really belong to any board, but because of /a/'s hatred of blogshit, the fact that "feels" left 4chan and then returned something completely different, reminds everyone on /a/ that /v/ was the cancer that killed the original purpose of "feels". You see, /a/ hates discussing emotion, because it brings to light any insecurities posters / browsers may have, the fact that we're on /a/ is bad enough, considering the fact most people on /a/ already have shitty lives due to being overweight, ugly, fat, etc etc, so most anons want to be as emotionless as possible.
Y'all a shit.
You're a shit.
And the reason why, is because with emotions, comes the daily reminder of how much of a failure you / we are as a person / people / group. The discussion of feels not only reminds us of how /v/ can't keep their bullshit together, but ontop of that essentially stole an original concept straight out of /b/, corrupted it, and then newfags took a hold of it and mutated it even further. That - coupled with the fact that most anons don't want to be reminded of their current state of living ; and you have one good reason why /a/ hates "feels" threads - Not only do we already get enough "feels" as it is by watching anime - but we can usually nonchalantly discuss feels by having conversation about anime we like in a thread, and when the thread goes well, we can tell how each other feels about the anime without needing to bring up feels. Anons KNOW each others feelings about anime, so theres never really a need to bring up the topic of feels when it comes to a series or a scene in an anime, music in an anime, or interaction between characters in an anime. We all feel the proverbial "feels" just the same without needing to reduce ourselves to the level of /v/ermin and actually discussing our them (feels).
So in the long run, unless it's VERY important to discuss, or your posts cannot be accurately understood without a mention of feels, you should always try to keep "feels" bullshit to a minimum.
I like the vocal version better.
/v/'s feels are not the same as /a/'s "feels", and are often confused.

I saw what you did there nigger
Since this anon seems upset, let me ask you.
Do you say "hurr durr /a/ doesn't allow talk of feels" and actually BELIEVE that bullshit, and regurgitate it whenever necessary simply because that's what you've seen others do / have had done to yourself when you've mentioned feels? Or do you actually believe feels should not be discussed on /a/, because doing so will eventually lead to you remembering how much of a fat neckbeard piece of shit you are, and you want to remain as emotionless as possible at all times?
/v/ did not start "feels", so telling someone to GB2 /v/ because they use the word "feels", a supposedly "anti-/a/" or "not hip with /a/'s culture" tier word, is not only incorrect, but actually makes you look like a fucking retard who's simply trying to fit in / be a tryhard troll.
People who stalk the catalog waiting for any chance that presents itself to vomit out - "gb2 x/y" or "ur a faggot" or " >streaming" or whatever other supposedly unallowed "will get you pointed out as newshit" "elitist rhetoric" - are nothing but cancer and are the actual ones who need to fuck off.
>inb4 "hurr butthurt"
>inb4 posting nothing but a reaction picture thinking you're actually clever / thinking it will legitimately bother me.
>inb4 someone doing those two things purposely because I said inb4 - and thinking if I inb4, it will somehow prevent some autist from doing it anyway.
/v/'s "feels" were corrupted a long time ago by summershit that happened to flood /v/, /b/ and /a/, and then brought that shit to tumblr and leddit. The discussion of "feels" is not a bad thing, but it's looked at - by skinny STD infected cocky pseudo intellectual autists like it's "something that doesn't belong simply because I don't think it belongs and therefore I'm gonna tell OP to fuck off because I don't want this shit in my /a/, after all, /a/ belongs to me and I set the trends and keep the culture safe" - as if it is something that's bad / cancerous. It's not.
It's really not that big of a deal, dude.
Or is this just a copypasta that I haven't seen before?
Holy projecting. It's just that referring to it as "feels" makes you look like a retarded memespouting crossboarder, which you probably are.
>HxH Music playing during scene, never really listened to it before / never caught my attention enough before, until this scene.
>choked up hard
I had a thread about that shit yesterday, there were lots of people admitting they choked up / let out a tear / got a little hazy eyed, to an ant no less. I choked up, to an ant. I guess that means I'm either inhumane, or are really easily emotionally infulenced. EIther way it was a hard hitting scene, especially with that music.
No one else is gonna do it?
DEM DUBS SON HOLY FUCK
>meme spouting crossboarder
Do me a favor, read >>100426407 and >>100426164
It IS a crossboarder thing, and only faggots from tumblr / leddit go around spouting out 4chan memes without realizing doing so makes you an enormous faggot in the eyes of people who actually know what the memes mean. That's not the point I made though, and is completely off base. I absolutely agree, actually. However /a/'s "feels" are not the same.
Starting a thread off with a mention of "feels" will, at times, cause the thread to derail, but if you have a small amount of intelligence, instead of using feels in your thread summary, you should type "X/Y Made me cry" or "I choked up hard during X/Y scene" or " This scene was really emotional, I was hardly able to hold back tears". That way you won't look like a huge faggot who's fresh off tumblr who frequents /v/. However, it's when faggots on /a/ adopt the idea that emotion whatsoever is banned from discourse, is when it's clearly obvious they're newshits who're simply regurgitating shit that others have done to them in an effort to fit in because they're unsure of what's allowed and wish to see people reactions to their cancerous simple minded shitposting.
The first two are copypasta I saved about 4 months ago.
I'm from Peru and i don't know about that Tumblr website, why people here, that i assume that are mostly americans, hate that website?
>Do me a favor, read >>100426407 and <span class="deadlink">>>100426164[/spoiler]
Oh yea, I'm sorry, for some reason I didn't see those posts.
>People listening to fags getting butthurt over the most pointless things like saying "feels" instead of ignoring them
Well, I'm not better since I'm bothered by people listening to fags getting butthurt over the most pointless things like saying "feels" instead of ignoring them
It's full of groups of people that believe they're unique, special, and deserve special treatment. They all believe that they're entitled to anything and everything simply because they're "not sheep" or "not normal".
Tumblr is full of feminism, headmates, and angsty 15 year olds that make up completely fake words with pseudo scientific definitions to go along with them - in order to describe why they're "different and deserve to be treated as such". And then you get the angsty 15 year olds who BROWSE tumblr, read that stupid entitlement bullshit - and actually BELIEVE IT.
it's full of men haters, women haters, psychologically challenged, special snowflakes, people who talk shit, blogshitters, and faggots.
Essentially, it's a place much much much worse than 4chan.
And why do people hate it?
There are tons of sites like this, people don't have time to hate them all, so why tumblr is the place people decided to focus on hating and blaming for all their problems?
Every note stabs me in the heart.
Essentially, it's a place where people who're too lazy to do anything conglomerate to bitch about "inequality" and bitch about how "the white, straight, good looking, male, heterosexual" is "holding them down. If you're skinny, there will be someone on tumblr bitching about YOU being skinny and saying you have "special privelages" because you're skinny, instead of THEM losing weight.
If you're heterosexual, there'll be some faggot on there bitching, saying YOU have special privelages because you're heterosexual, whereas they have to hide their faggotry in fear of judgement / losing jobs / being beaten up, you have HETEROSEXUAL privelages etc etc, and all in all, it's a website where people make up niche catch-phrases like "CIS-Scum" and then suck a few cocks / donate money to wikipedia to get their words legalized. It's a website full of people who believe their lives are suffering, and it's nothing but bullshit.
TL;DR - it's a website for hipsters and the self asserted "less fortunate" to bitch about their lives and to circlejerk with people who "think like they do".
>TL;DR - it's a website for hipsters and the self asserted "less fortunate" to bitch about their lives and to circlejerk with people who "think like they do".
>not posting the superior version
>why do people hate it(tumblr)?
You're fucking with me, right?
4chan is home to everything else. (including autism and faggotry, but not exclusively)
No, I have never been there, but I always see people bitching about it like tumblr had raped their waifu, killed their children, poisoned their water, destroyed their crops and burned their house, but from my point of view is just another shitty site.
The main difference is that when someones being a faggot on 4chan they get called a faggot by a majority of the posters.
Miyazaki films and feels are like peanut butter and jelly.
And that make us... better?
You got it. Now don't ever say that again if you value your time here.
Because unlike 4chan, tumblrfags don't realize just how shit they are and mistake their circlejerking for actual talent.
The website is like everything wrong with Deviantart, but with actual social influence.
Still listening to the sound tracks when im reading the novels
One of the handful songs that gives me goose bumps.
I wanna have hatesex with a feminist lesbian until make her addicted to my cock so i can re-educate her via sex abuse/teasing/training and making her be hetero again and anti-feminist.
But just a hot one, if their ugly i pass.
You do realize they go to such extremes because people like you exist right ?
Wanna taste my dong?
Not the same anon but here's my take on it. You're right, there are a lot of sites like Tumblr, that is, social networking sites, including 4chan, as you stated. What makes these sites different from each other is their user bases and what they fill the site with. It just so happens that some sites build up a majority of a certain general type of people for whatever reason, usually because the site rules are different or the site is designed in a particular way.
I'd say the main difference between the Tumblr community and the 4chan community is that the 4chan community is diverse and open. What i mean by that is this site houses a lot of different boards, specifically for different interests. You may never think to browse a different board that may or may not contain a different ratio of types of people. This coupled with our anonymity makes for a very...flexible, if not chaotic atmosphere, basically insuring that specific groups have as little control over the majority as possible. This is why trips are so hated, they undermine the anonymity of the boards.
Tumblr, in contrast, is the exact opposite. Users have entire walls dedicated to themselves and their own...agendas, usually obnoxiously decorated to attract the most attention. This, logically, attracts a community of people wanting attention and they tend to be very annoying and immature.
And that's why Tumblr is shit.
Only if you soak it in nutella beforehand.
Post more, I got nothing. All this shit is coming back hard.
Not anime, but still counts.
